*Seaking's prototype name was "Neptune", named after the god of the sea in Roman mythology.
*In its {{game3|Red and Green|Red, Green|s}}, and {{game3|Red and Blue|Blue|s}} sprites, its horn is twice as long as normal.
*Seaking is the subject of a meme on the *chan sites, known as "F*** YEAH SEAKING", in which it destroys things.
*If Seaking is based upon "sea" and "king", and {{p|Goldeen}} "queen of the sea", then a queen is evolving into a king.

Seaking's name is simply a combination of ''sea'' and ''king'' (seeking?). Its Japanese name may be based on 小豆鱒 ''azukimasu'', {{wp|rock cod}} and 魔王 ''ma-ō'', devil king. Interestingly enough, its Japanese name may also be taken to literally mean 東王 ''azuma-ō'', East king. Furthermore, an アズマニシキ ''azumanishiki'' is a kind of goldfish. Likely the name is meant to compliment Goldeen's "queenliness" with a combination of the Azuma Nishiki (東錦) goldfish and the Japanese word for king, ''ou'' (王).

Look, the Episode summary on Pokeani may have said a reappearance (pun not intended), but that could have been an april fools joke. We need to wait until AT LEAST after the [[DP075|Wallace episode]] airs (Since there will be a preview for the 76th episode after that.) to be ABSOLUTELY certain that she will reappear in that episode (which even THAT isn't 100% guaranteed since the writers seem to like messing with their fans minds [the Buizel capture episode preview comes to mind.].).

Also, even IF it is confirmed that she is going to make an appearance in that episode (which would be extremely random even FOR pokemon to have her reappear when she is supposed to be doing Contests in Johto. While it IS true that Afd jokes usually take place on April fools day, that doesn't mean that it's exclusively on that day. Look at Electronic Gaming Monthly: Those Guys air their April Fools Day Jokes on FEBRUARY, for goodness sakes!

Also, in regards to what I mean to "Shirking off her goal in life" what I mean is that she left in the middle of her run in Johto just to attend a contest in Sinnoh which she could have easily waited for after she gets done with Johto. I mean, did Ash leave for another region when he was in the middle of his own region just because of something that was of Interest for him? No he did not (and before anyone mentions the Whirl Islands, they don't count since they are part of Johto, and plus, it was something Misty wanted to do), Gary and Paul didn't do that either, so if they aren't doing it when they were doing it in THEIR journeys, then May shouldn't either.

And, BTW, that's only IF it is true. the only way we can get OFFICIAL confirmation for now is through the episode previews at the very least, so we have a long wait until then. Maybe if the episode summary didn't appear until AFTER this years April Fools Day, I would be much more believing (and accepting of it even though I feel it is the writers biggest Mistake since i have negative emotions of her.)

Ok, I really think that the part about May being the second main character other than Ash to get her own movie should be removed from the Trivia section.

I mean, let me be frank with you, May didn't HAVE a lead role in a movie, especially the Manaphy movie, since, Guess what, Ash got the limelight in the end of that movie.

In order for her to have a lead role in that movie, it should be completely dedicated to herself (in other words, EVERY SINGLE THING in that movie, especially it's ending, is solely focused on her.). In other words, the only one who actually GOT a lead role in a movie was [[Max]].

Sheesh. Destroy the Wiki? Crikey, it's difficult to take someone who uses hyperbole so repeatedly seriously. My Internet life grew up on Wikipedia policies, which work fairly well. Wikipedia attempts to be fairly objective by implementing the Neutral Point of View and Reliable Sources policies. You see, the problem is not with people having an opinion. I personally am very opinionated, because I feel that attempting to stay centrist requires too much compromise, but I try to acknowledge that other people's opinions exist, unless said opinions are so utterly ridiculous that I just can't digest them. On a wiki, however, one has to focus on facts, and not let opinion sway one's editing. Also, one must cooperate with the other editors in consensus to achieve a neutral point of view. You seem to wish to just do your own thing rather than cooperate, and the problem is not with you being opinionated. It's the fact that you can't distinguish between your opinion and objective editing that is the problem.

Finally, Wikipedia has Notability guidelines. The sexism controversy arising from the statement is not notable and has nothing at all to do with the topic. Maybe it has relevance on the Masamitsu Hidaka page, but not here. I am going to overlook the fact that you overrode an editorial member's contribution without even paying attention to whether or not it supported your point (for instance, you deleted the paragraph in which I stated that the movies marks Origine Forme and Sky Forme's debuts; how is that controversial?). It is childish conduct, but I am used to it by now.

You should have realized that the content I deleted was all ''conjecture''; I couldn't have very well stated erroneous or unfounded information when I only removed other members' conjecture, could I? It may be true that when the first movie was revealed we had good reason to believe that Palkia would tag along with Dialga, but even back then that was not clearly implied. Since then, Dialga and Regigigas have been shown to have some role in the movie on numerous occasions, whereas Palkia has all but been forgotten. As for the new Pokémon, early toy advertisements led some to believe that the unrevealed Pokémon would pertain to the next generation. Since then, Sky Forme has been unveiled and confirmed to be that very same unrevealed Pokémon, leaving no viable reason to suspect that that speculation could still have merit.

All of the above warranted the deletion of the conjecture from the page as soon as last month. But I have refrained from doing so because I knew that certain members' obstinacy could prove problematic. However, by now circumstances have changed due to the fact that the movie has premiered in an early showing in a limited number of Japanese theaters. I can understand the "link each Pokemon once" for a paragraph, but should this also apply to lists of owned Pokemon? Ok, PDL, I think that it [the controversy] should be mentioned in this article, also, I should just point out that Brock's article actually referenced a current fanbase controversy in his bio (and, just FYI it's [[Brock#In_The_Anime#Character|Here]] and [[Brock#In_The_Anime#History|Here]]), so I don't think that that part means anything (at least, certainly not in this wiki.) And besides, I'd add it back into the trivia section of the article, but apparantly someone removed it when i posted this Info the first time around. Honestly, I don't see why the article even needs to even bring it up. It only seems to make Misty appear to be much more important to the anime then she really was. The anime as a whole hasn't actually suffered now that Misty is no longer a part of the main cast of characters (Save for a few belly-achers... You know who you are... >_>)

Plus it shouldn't even an issue any longer since it's been nearly 6 years now.

Fine then, I don't really care if it is in the Anime section, the Trivia Section, or even it's own section. As long as it is mentioned in the article, it is all right with me. (Though I personally disagree with the whole "Anime hasn't suffered" arguement considering that, before Misty left, It's ratings WORLDWIDE were fairly strong. But AFTER Misty left, the only country that even HAS Decent ratings is Japan, since people very rarely watch the anime anymore, and the Movies are currently being released DTD/DTV, which hints at their low ratings, as well as europe not even getting several of the movies/seasons until at least 4 years have passed in japan, and 3 years here in the USA. However, Now that you have mentioned it, you've really got some work to do. Since you feel that fan controversies should NEVER be mentioned within an Main Anime Character's Bio, I highly suggest that you delete certain sections in Brock's Anime Bio (or at least move them to the trivia section/it's very own section.) since, believe me, If you read the last sentence of the last paragraph in Brock's Character subsection of his character Bio, you'll notice that the entire thing is swimming with fan complaints among other things. Same deal with the Last few sentences of his History section. Oh, and in case My links didn't work out for you, It's these lines:

well, since you seem to be in favor for the change, I have moved it back into the Anime Bio, I have also taken the liberty of adding a little thing in there that might explain where this Inappropriate stereotype part in regards to May and dawn (not to mention one of the reasons as to why there is a degree of hatred of May and Dawn) came to be. First off, Trinity lost to the guy with the Feraligatr, who then became the champion right after beating her. Ok, I just edited out a blurb about how Misty wasn't returning due to what Masamitsu Hidaka said in the Pokebeach interview, because 1. he's a storyboard artist who makes his living designing backgrounds and certain characters for an episode, and has barely any influence on a storyline in any way shape or form, If it was a writer, or maybe even a VA, then that would DEFINITELY count as a source.

And besides, he doesn't even work with pokémon anymore (He left the job after Battle Frontier), so his words in regards to future events wouldn't have any corrolation to what the actual writers are thinking. Therefore, I reverted it back to the original edit of the Misty leaving controversy. Now, if you want me to add in that blurb, I'll do so, but only under the condition that I also add in a footnote that, since he no longer works with pokemon, that doesn't necessary mean that it's correct.

Yep, and they in turn have people who work for them (and probably other people they report to) and so on. Big, big organisation. Now, as I've said, Mr Taijiri is a busy man and probably can't do more than glance at the original anime occasionally. So chances are he doesn't have time or opportunity to look at anything related to the English dub. That's the domain of people at Nintendo of America. And i's most likely one of them who authorised "Misty's Song". They aren't Mr Taijri but in a very roundabout very-long-chain of-people sort of way they do work for him (or at least, the same company). They aren't just "making stuff up".

Now, if "Kasumi's Song" did exist and went in a completely different direction to "Misty's Song", with a different take on Kasumi's feelings for Satoshi then "Misty's Song" would be non-canon. And we know this because people like Dogasu would have torn "Misty's Song" to shreds already. There'd be a page on this site detailing the differences.

I really have no idea what Pokémon are UU, NU, and OU, But it'd be nice too see if any of the Pokémon in my main party are Overused or Underused.
