The &#039;&#039;&#039;Oreburgh Mine&#039;&#039;&#039; (Japanese: &#039;&#039;&#039;クロガネたんこう&#039;&#039;&#039; &#039;&#039;Kurogane Mine&#039;&#039;) is located in [[Oreburgh City]] and operated by [[Roark]]. It is the livelihood of the town. Vents in the town allow steam to escape and fresh air to enter the mine, likely also clearing the mine of any poison gas (which is historically the bane of coal miners). The mine is operated with the utmost care to avoid causing damage to the natural habitats of wild Pokémon. The system of taking coal out of the mine is automated.  Roark lets trainers from the town train their Pokémon in the mine. The mine itself extends not only under the town, but the seafloor as well. All of the miners have their own Pokémon, usually {{p|Machop}}, to assist them in the mine. The [[glitch]] Pokémon, [[Invisible Shiny Bulbasaur]], can appear here.&lt;br /&gt;

The &#039;&#039;&#039;Oreburgh Gate&#039;&#039;&#039; (Japanese: &#039;&#039;&#039;クロガネゲート&#039;&#039;&#039; &#039;&#039;Kurogane Gate&#039;&#039;) is a small cave that is located on the west side of [[Oreburgh City]], separating it from [[Route 203]].  Although the passage between Route 203 and Oreburgh City is small, the cave has a lower floor that can be reached with {{m|Rock Smash}}.  Underneath are several items and the only trainer in the game that uses {{p|Riolu}}, which can be reached using {{m|Strength}} and {{m|Surf}}.  There are also ramps that can be jumped using a bicycle, formed naturally from the stone in the cave.&lt;br /&gt;
