:As I've stated elsewhere, I don't think we need anywhere near the amount of international VA pages that we have. I can see somebody like [[Rodrigo Andreatto]] or [[Gilmara Sanches]] keeping their articles, as they have many roles that don't include solely Pokémon. However, when you get into people like José Parisi Jr., you begin to have problems. It's not just the international VAs, either. Ones like [[Phillip Bartlett]] (sorry about that), [[Kelly Davis]] and [[Diane Stillwell]] I fail to see the notability of. Especially considering Stillwell hasn't, to our knowledge, done additional voices. She played ''one'' role in ''one'' special and was replaced.

:When I create a VA article, here are the criteria I try to use; 1) Did they voice more than one character in the anime? 2) Have they voiced characters in other series? 3) Is there reason to believe that they will be back? I also have two optional pieces I consider: 4) Is a photo of them available? and 5) Do they have a website or external link? OK, so I just had this new idea that could be very nice, and increase the traffic to VA articles: navigation templates that link them to each other. There are two ways I can think of that we can do this: the first is by languages (as in, "Voice actors in the Czech dub of the Pokémon anime", "Voice actors in the Norwegian dub of the Pokémon anime"), the other by characters (as in, "Voice actors who dub Ash Ketchum", "Voice actors who dub Misty"). Hi! Um, I'm not sure where I should post this... But I've been talking to Tom Wayland. Apparently, he's been on Bulbapedia and he's noticed there is a lot of casting information that is wrong.

Okay, here's the correct information.

"Mr. Backlot is N. Ronald Levine, not David Brimmer.

Rebecca Soler is Prof. Carolina, not Emily Jeness.

Ax Norman was Alberto in Movie 10, not Kai.

Sean Reyes was Kai in Movie 10, not Baron Alberto. He was also Kellyn (the Ranger), not Scottie Ray. Scottie was the bad guy in those eps.

Rich McNanna is Yuzo, not Sean Reyes.

I (Tom Wayland) was Kato in Movie 12, not Tim Werenko. I was also Arceus - but someone apparently fixed this one recently."

It's a song which came from a commercial to help promote the Ruby and Sapphire games, and double-battles (Veronica Taylor and Rachael Lillis performed Ash and Misty, singing the song "It Takes Two"). I have this song! It's great! ^_^ However, the song was never released on any album, and the commercial seems to have been one-of-a-kind. To whoever posted that quote up there: I don't know how you got that information. But anyway, Veronica told me exactly that in an email she just sent me. However, I wish she would have explained further what she meant by that "In fact, they won't allow me to work on the show at all" thing. Because quite frankly, it doesn't make any sense for Pokemon USA to be saying this (especially given the fact that there are no contract issues now, and both Rachael Lillis and Maddie Blaustein have been given minor roles on the show recently). As for the rumor which was on Veronica's guestbook, in an email I received from her recently, Veronica has denied those rumors about her returning.

And to answer your question TTEchidna, Veronica '''isn't''' contracted to 4Kids. She never was (I know this because I've received many emails from Veronica, both during and after the VA switch). The other members of the original cast weren't under contract either, for that matter. In fact, Veronica and the rest of the original VAs are '''freelance'''. So therefore, Veronica should be able to work for any company she wants (which is why this whole thing with Pokemon USA makes no sense whatsoever). I have no idea why Pokemon USA isn't allowing Veronica to regain her role as Ash. What I do know, is that Sarah Natochenny is ruining Ash on Pokemon, because he is no longer the same character that he was in the 4Kids dub.

And by the way, personally, I thought Michele Knotz' performance as May in "A Full Course Tag Battle" was horrible. Let's see if Michele does any better in today's episode (September 20th). I'm not expecting much of a difference in her performance. I was just like PokémonTrainerLisa at one time. I thought that the anime would be ruined if the 4Kids actors weren't doing the voices anymore. So I did what SOVA's doing know. I wrote letters, complained and ranted. During that time I was completely miserable. Eventually I decided that my complaining was only making me upset so I decided to give the new voice actors a chance. It took a little while to get over the change, but I came to love the show more than ever. I was able to look past the voice actors and concentrate on what the anime was really about. The story that it tells. Isn't that what got us into it in the first place? I then realized that the new actors were becoming more and more comfortable with there roles and doing better jobs. For Ash to give Turtwig away because Paul has Torterra seems like something that would be very hard to explain canonically. The most logical explanation for Turtwig leaving his party would be to Oak it but if he were to do that he would probably grab something that was at Oak's already.
