This term is different from an aside, where a character will seemingly detach for a moment to say something to the audience, then continue on as if nothing had happened.

There are several ways of breaking the fourth wall. They include referring to events that happened in said episode, stopping someone from performing a violent act or swearing by saying something along the lines of it being a children's show, responding to a character who is not physically present (e.g., the [[narrator]]), or getting people to buy merchandise of the subject in question.

While many honest fans distribute hacks of Pokémon games for free over the internet, some unscrupulous people have been known to sell them in the guise of legitimate games. Some of these games are hacked onto the actual game cartridges and sold over the internet on sites such as eBay. There are an uncountable number of hacks available on the Internet (a search on YouTube will easily reveal at least a dozen), so this article will limit itself to only the most notable ones.

It should also be noted that all current Chinese language Pokémon game cartridges are pirated as there have yet to be any official Chinese language Pokémon games.

==Moemon==

Moemon (short for "{{wp|Moe (slang)|Moekko}} Monsters") is another hack of Pokémon FireRed that changes all Pokémon into [http://en.wikifur.com/wiki/Gijinka gijinka]. It is a simple change of FireRed, but with additions such as the ability to catch the three [[starter Pokémon|starters]], {{p|Eevee}}, and a mix of both LeafGreen and FireRed Pokémon (thus making it simpler to obtain all Pokémon).

Moemon received a short burst of fame when it was posted to gaming site Kotaku in late 2007.[http://kotaku.com/gaming/clip/pokemon-dressed-up-in-moe-332781.php]

==Pokémon Adventure==

Pokémon Adventure is a hack of an existing pirated game called Sonic Adventure 7 that is for the {{wp|Game Boy Color}}. It has five levels, and the intro sequence consists of a few Japanese [[Pokédex]] screenshots from {{2v2|Gold|Silver}}. Other than the intro, title screen, and ending, the game has almost no relationship with Pokémon, with most of the enemies being from other pirates made by the same company, such as Rockman 8 and Super Mario Special 3.

==Pokémon ChaosBlack==

Another infamous hack is Pokémon ChaosBlack, which is a modification of {{game3|FireRed and LeafGreen|Pokémon FireRed|s}} that was released on the [[Game Boy Advance]]. This game contains many fake Pokémon, including Mewthree. Although it has a reputation as a bootleg cartridge sold illegally, the original creator of the hack released the patch for it onto the Internet. ChaosBlack is infamous for including numerous created Pokémon and harsh language.

The description on the back of some boxes can inform gamers that it is a bootleg, as there is a missing accent on the "e" in "Pokémon". Another large giveaway is the fact that Chaos from Sonic the Hedgehog games exists on the front cover. Also the game was apparantly developed by 'Mewthree Inc.' instead of Nintendo, meaning it couldn't have been endorsed by Nintendo, Pokémon's usual trademark. Despite these obvious flaws, the bootleggers still included a fake Nintendo Seal of Approval on the box and cartridge.

==Pokémon Diamond and Jade==

Possibly the most well-known bootleg "Pokémon" games are the notorious '''Pokémon Diamond and Jade''' (not to be confused with the official [[Generation IV]] games {{v2|Diamond and Pearl|s}}). In truth, these games were poorly translated versions of a Japanese game known as {{wp|Keitai Denjū Telefang}}. Telefang was divided into two versions: Power and Speed; the Power Version became Pokémon Diamond and the Speed Version became Pokémon Jade. Pokémon Jade was sometimes released on the [[Game Boy Color]] on the same cartridge as {{game|Crystal}}, but could also be found as a standalone cartridge. The hacks had numerous glitches that the original game did not have, such as the inability to load a save properly. The game also contains profanity and swearing, which is absent from all official Pokémon games licensed by [[Nintendo]].

==Pokémon Diamond 2 and Jade 2==

Similar to the first fake Diamond and Jade games, Diamond 2 and Jade 2 were hacked from Keitai Denjū Telefang 2. Also, like Diamond and Jade, the Power Version of Telefang 2 became Pokémon Diamond 2, and the Speed Version became Pokémon Jade 2. They are in Chinese, and their title screens have been altered to poorly drawn Pokémon characters. The similarities between the title screens of this and the original Diamond and Jade (as well as the fact that they have Pokémon names in the first place) suggest that these may be made by the same pirates. Diamond 2 crashes after the title screen, making it unplayable without a save state, and Jade 2 has graphical glitches. There is also a poorly translated English version of the Power Version of Telefang 2 called "Pokémon Ruby," which has no relation to the real one, and not much is known about it.

==Pokémon Naranja/Orange==
Pokémon Naranja is a hack of {{game3|Ruby and Sapphire|Pokémon Ruby|s}} in which the {{player}} plays as either {{Ash}} or [[Misty]] and travels around the [[Orange Archipelago]]. Naranja is a Spanish word which means Orange. Strangely, "naranja" is Spanish for the ''fruit'' orange, while "anaranjado" is Spanish for the ''color'' orange. This could be because many of the places in the Orange Archipelago are named after fruits. {{p|Celebi}} appears on the box art and title screen.

This game is based on the [[Pokémon: The Adventures in the Orange Islands|Orange Saga]] in the {{pkmn|anime}}. The game starts after the player had won the [[Indigo League]]. Despite this fact, the player starts with only a Lv. 5 {{p|Pikachu}}. Many characters, plots and events in the Orange Saga are included in the game, such as the [[GS Ball]], Ash's {{AP|Lapras}}, the [[Orange Crew]], the [[Crystal Onix]], the {{p|Golduck}} from ''[[EP091|Bye Bye Psyduck]]'', and [[Ash's Snorlax]].

This game also includes a special feature: the player's character actually speaks during some of the story sequences, which has never been implemented in any official Pokémon game.

The game maker originally planned to release a third beta version before {{wp|Christmas}} in 2005; however, the creator canceled this for an unknown reason. Therefore, the game is currently incomplete.

Naranja has, much like Chaos Black and Shiny Gold, also been published in cartridge form and sold as a bootleg game by pirates.

==Pokémon Brown==

Pokémon Brown is a hack of Pokémon Red. This hack began production in mid 2002, as a sequel to Koolboyman's "Rated M" ROM hack "Fukemon", titled "Fukemon 2". Finally, on January 16th, 2004, the hack was released to the public. The hack has a complete change of all maps and has some minor script tweaks. Also, almost all the Pokémon sprites have been changed. Pokémon Brown takes place in the Rijon region. The maker of this hack announced a remake of Pokémon Brown that was released in April 2009. ==Pokémon Prism==

Pokémon Prism is a hack of {{game3|Gold and Silver|Pokémon Gold|s}} made by Koolboyman, as another entry into his series of hacks, preceded by Pokémon Brown. This hack completely overhauls the original game, and also won [[Pokécommunity]]'s Hack of the Year award in 2007. [http://www.pokecommunity.com/showthread.php?t=120692] It takes place in a new region called Naljo, with new music, new Pokémon types, and more. One feature is to replace the player's sprite with another at a special shop. The game also has crafting systems (not fully implemented as of the second beta release) and the ability to send a Pokémon out of its Poké Ball outside of battle. Like many other hacks, Prism is still in progress, with periodic updates being released to the public.

==Pokémon Quartz==

Another hack of Pokémon Ruby, released by the author as a patch file intended to be played by {{wp|VisualBoyAdvance|VBA}} users who already owned the Ruby cartridge and had a copy of its ROM image. The game has a great number of spelling and grammatical errors, which result from the hack being translated from Spanish, although the grammar improves throughout the game. The game also contains profanity and adult themes, which are absent from all official Pokémon games. Pokémon Quartz replaced all names and graphics of traditional Pokémon with new, made-up Pokémon, although some of the changes were only cosmetic and did not change learnsets or types. The game takes place in a region known as "Corna", a heavily edited version of Hoenn, and requires the player to navigate a very different series of paths during gameplay.

While the best-known bootleg cartridge as played on the actual GBA contains serious glitches and errors, the current patch file release works well with VBA when the patch is applied to a clean image of an actual Ruby cartridge.

Zorak of Something Awful did a complete Let's Play [http://lparchive.org/LetsPlay/Pokemon%20Quartz/index.html playthrough of the game], which ended in an interview with the creator of the hack.

A sequel to the game, Pokémon Marble, is in its beta release. This version is a hack of Fire Red and has vastly improved grammar and spelling.

==Pokémon ShinyGold==

Pokémon ShinyGold is a total conversion of {{game3|FireRed and LeafGreen|Pokémon FireRed|s}} that turns the game into a {{2v2|Gold|Silver}} remake, much like how FireRed is a remake of {{game3|Red and Blue|Pokémon Red|s}}. It is considered by many people to be among the best and one of the highest-quality hacked games. As well as illegally releasing the game to ROM communities as a patch, some pirates have copied the hack (as with many others) to Game Boy Advance cartridges to illegally sell the game and trick gamers who genuinely think that it is an official Pokémon game. In response to this, Zel (the creator of the hack) placed a note at the beginning of the game saying that the game should be returned if the player paid for it. The game features changes to allow Pokémon that normally evolve via time-based events or trade to evolve by other methods that are more easily available to the player. For example, {{p|Scyther}} evolves into {{p|Scizor}} with a {{evostone|Moon Stone}} rather than by its normal method, trading while holding a {{DL|Type-enhancing item|Metal Coat}}. The game also features many events which were not available in the original game, as well as many [[Generation III]] Pokémon being found in some areas.

==Pokémon: Team Rocket Edition==

Better known as Pokémon TRE, this game is a hack of [[Pokémon Red and Blue Versions|Pokémon Red]]. In the storyline, Giovanni is having a contest to see who can be the next Team Rocket boss. You play as [[James]], competing against [[Jessie]], who is James' sister in the game.

A fake version, called Pokémon Rocket, is often mistaken for this game.

YouTube user SaltOar wrote and posted a Let's Play playthrough of the game.

== Synopsis ==
After battling with the {{p|Spearow}}, {{AP|Pikachu}} was badly injured. {{Ash}} was told by [[Misty]] about a place where he could take Pikachu to be healed, a [[Pokémon Center]]. They go to the [[Viridian City]] Pokémon Center to be healed. When he enters the town, Ash is stopped by [[Officer Jenny]], who found him suspicious, due to the fact he was carrying Pikachu in his arms and not a [[Poké Ball]], but Ash confirms his identity with his [[Pokédex]]. Jenny rushes Ash to the Pokémon Center. Misty enters in the Pokémon Center with her destroyed bike, angry because it was Ash's Pikachu that destroyed it. Ash explains that Pikachu was injured badly, and Misty forgot about her bike and instead thought of Pikachu. As Pikachu is treated, Ash feels crestfallen and calls home. His [[Delia Ketchum|mother]] tries to encourage him, but he still feels downtrodden. He is then called by [[Professor Oak]] who is surprised that he reached Viridian so soon. Ash then tells him about [[Ho-Oh (anime)|the golden colored flying Pokémon he saw earlier]] (in the [[EP001|last episode]]). Oak feels that he is lying because many trainers have never seen that Pokémon even after they searched for it during their whole life. They then exchange good wishes and hung up.

Meanwhile, two "wanted" posters are revealed, showing the pictures of two "Most Wanted Criminals", [[Jessie]] and [[James]] of [[Team Rocket]]. The two trouble makers spot the posters and swear vengeance on Viridian for putting up wanted posters of them. Their ally {{MTR}} is then revealed to be their [[Pokémon]].

While Pikachu is being treated, Team Rocket attack the Pokémon Center with the intent of stealing the Pokémon inside. The Center's [[Nurse Joy]] tries to transfer all the Pokémon to the safety of the [[Pewter City]] Pokémon Center because it is an emergency. Team Rocket use their [[Jessie's Arbok|Ekans]] and [[James's Weezing|Koffing]] to wreak havoc in the Center. However, just then Pikachu somehow manages to revive itself and along with the other Pikachu from the Center's back-up power generator, {{m|ThunderShock}} Team Rocket away.

Officer Jenny arrives too late as Team Rocket manage to escape in their Meowth shaped balloon. They agree that Pikachu would make a great gift for their [[Giovanni|boss]] and decide to steal it when the chance comes.

Ash leaves Viridian City and heads for the [[Viridian Forest]] with a revived relation with Pikachu and Misty in tow. Spotting a {{p|Caterpie}}, he attempts to capture it.

It was first broadcast in Japan on April 1, 1997 and was first broadcast in the United States on September 8, 1998.

==Synopsis==
The episode begins the same way as [[Pokémon Red and Blue Versions|Pokémon Red]], down to the style of the images and the sound. A {{p|Nidorino}} and a {{p|Gengar}} are exchanging attacks in a {{pkmn|battle}}. After Nidorino dodges Gengar's attack, it leaps at it. At the same time, the [[Pokémon games|game]] starts to come to life, with the small frame enlarging into the entire screen, and the monochrome [[Pokémon]] fading into color.

The two are battling in a stadium at the [[Pokémon League]], watched by crowds of fans. Gengar dodges Nidorino's {{m|Fury Attack}}, and then jumps on its head to make an opening to put it to sleep with {{m|Hypnosis}}. As Nidorino falls {{status|Sleep|asleep}}, its {{pkmn|Trainer}} recalls it into its [[Poké Ball]], and then throws out another to take its place. The Gengar jumps back as an {{p|Onix}} comes out. It tries to {{m|Slam}} into Gengar face-first, but misses and hits the battlefield instead. It pulls back up, unfazed.

This battle is being watched on television by a boy from [[Pallet Town]] named [[Ash Ketchum]]. He is now ten years old, which means he can become a [[Pokémon Trainer]]. Tomorrow, he will receive a [[starter Pokémon]] from [[Professor Oak]] and start his Pokémon journey, the first step on the long quest of his dream of becoming a [[Pokémon master]].

His mother enters the room and reminds him that it is 11 o'clock at night, and that he should be asleep. He complains that he is too excited to fall asleep. As a compromise, his mother changes his television's channel to [[Professor Oak's lecture]], and tells him to go to bed when the program is finished.

That night, he dreams about the starter Pokémon as he tries to decide which one he wants. First, he dreams of choosing and sending out {{p|Bulbasaur}}, and then {{p|Squirtle}}. The night turns to morning, and Ash, still in bed, dreams about if he chose {{p|Charmander}}. Suddenly, he bolts awake to find that he threw his Voltorb-shaped alarm clock in his sleep, and it had smashed against the wall. Afraid that he might have overslept, Ash bolted out of his house in his pajamas and runs as fast as he can to [[Professor Oak's Laboratory]].

Outside the laboratory, a crowd of people had gathered, including a group of [[Gary's cheerleaders|cheerleaders]]. Ash pushes through and bumps into his [[rival]], which is the grandson of the professor, [[Gary Oak]]. Gary taunts him for being late. He tells Ash that he has already received his starter Pokémon from his grandfather. He boasts to the crowd that he will make Pallet Town famous by becoming a Pokémon master. Ash, however, is more interested in finding out what starter Gary chose. Gary tells him that it was the best one, and then leaves in a red sports car, followed by the crowd.

Before Ash can say anything about how upset he was by his rival, Professor Oak approaches him. Ash drops his anger and asks about getting a Pokémon. Professor Oak seems doubtful that he's ready, since he showed up in his pajamas, but Ash insists that he's ready.

Inside Oak's laboratory, three Poké Balls were set up on a storage device, with a place for a fourth in the center. Ash decides that he would like to start with Squirtle, but when he opens the Poké Ball, he found that it was empty. Professor Oak tells him it was taken by a [[Gary Oak|Trainer who wasn't late]]. After this, he decides he'd like Bulbasaur, but this Poké Ball is also empty. He has no choice but to go for the last choice, Charmander, but the final Poké Ball is also empty. The three were all taken by Trainers who arrived on time, and it seems that there is no Pokémon left for Ash.

Professor Oak mentions that he has another Pokémon, but that there was a problem with it. Ash wants it anyway. In the fourth spot in the middle, a Poké Ball appears that has a lightning bolt mark on it. He picks it up and hands it to Ash. The ball opens, and in a burst of lighting, {{p|Pikachu}} comes out of the ball. Ash loves the cute Pokémon, and picks it up and hugs it. Pikachu doesn't like this, and shocks him with an {{t|Electric}} attack. Oak hands him a [[Pokédex]] and six Poké Balls, but gets shocked as well when he touches Ash.

When Ash steps outside the laboratory, he finds a small crowd had gathered as well, including his mother, who is sad to see him leaving. She gives him his [[bag]] full of supplies, and starts explaining everything she packed for him. He gets embarrassed and pulls it away. She sees Pikachu, and wonders why it isn't in its Poké Ball. He tries to get it in, but it hits the ball back every time. Ash says that they are friends, even despite Pikachu's behavior. His mother calls it weird, and in anger, it shocks the entire crowd with its electricity.

Soon, Ash sets off, trying to get a handle on the rebellious Pokémon by wearing rubber gloves and dragging it with a clothesline leash. After getting tired of dragging it along, he tries to talk to it and find out what is wrong, only to find out that Pikachu can't say anything but its name. He tries to convince it to get back in its Poké Ball, and pulls out his new Pokédex for information on it. His Pokédex explains that Pokémon must be kept in the Poké Ball. Then Pikachu clicks it and it explains that not all Pokémon like to be kept in Poké Balls. Ash decides to earn Pikachu's trust by treating it nicely, and he unties the clothesline and takes off his rubber gloves. Pikachu turns away.

Then, a {{p|Pidgey}} walks out near them, and Ash scans it with his Pokédex for more information. He is eager to catch it, but Pikachu doesn't want to help him and instead, runs up a tree. Frustrated, Ash decides to try and catch the Pidgey without Pikachu's help. He throws a Poké Ball at it, but the Pidgey breaks out easily. The Pokédex explaines that a Pokémon should be weakened before it can be caught. Pikachu laughs at Ash. He tries again, this time attempting to throw his pajama shirt on top of the Pidgey, but the bird blows him off with a {{m|Gust}} and then hits him with a {{m|Sand-Attack}} before it flies away. Pikachu laughs at Ash more. Ash turns and sees that a {{p|Rattata}} is digging through his bag. He scans it with his Pokédex, which mentions that Rattata is a forest Pokémon. Just as Ash questions why it came out into the field, the Pokédex explains that it sometimes leaves its habitat to steal from ''stupid'' travelers. Pikachu laughs at Ash even more.

Ash turns and saw a group of Pidgey in the field, and throws a rock at them, which only scares them away. However, he sees another bird Pokémon in the field and throws another rock at it, which hits it in the back of its head. When it turns to look at him, however, he realized that he didn't hit a Pidgey; he scans it with his Pokédex and learns that this is a {{p|Spearow}}, which is considerably less friendly than a Pidgey. The Spearow swoops several times to attack him, and then spots and targets Pikachu instead. The Pokédex explains that wild Pokémon are sometimes jealous of trained Pokémon. Just as the Spearow is about to knock Pikachu out of the tree, Pikachu shocks it with an Electric attack, knocking it out of the sky.

The Spearow, however, cries for help, and Ash and Pikachu start running away from a flock of angry Spearow. Pikachu ran ahead of Ash, and the Spearow fly after it, attacking it until it fell to the ground. The Spearow start swarming around it, but Ash grabbs his injured Pikachu and runs straight to a waterfall. He jumps into the river below to escape the Spearow, and is being dragged into a large pond, narrowly swimming out of the path of a {{p|Gyarados}}.

On the shore of this pond, a [[Misty|girl]] is [[fishing]], and is excited to find that she had a bite. However, instead of a {{type2|Water}} Pokémon, she pulls out Ash and Pikachu. She doesn't care about Ash, but is very concerned about the injured Pokémon in his arms. She tells him that he needs to take it to the [[Pokémon Center]] in [[Viridian City]], and points out the way to go. However, he hears the distant cries of Spearow, and turns to see the flock in the sky, flying toward him. He steals the girl's [[bicycle|bike]], putting the Pikachu in its basket, and rides away, promising that he would bring it back someday. The girl screams at him as he rides away, but he ignores her.

He quickly starts to ride to Viridian City, with storm clouds above him and the tens of Spearow in close pursuit. Soon, it starts to rain. He rides the bike over a ledge, and it falls on its side, which knocks Ash and Pikachu off. Ash finds himself looking at his injured Pikachu lying on the ground, with the Spearow approaching and the storm growing worse. Desperate to save his Pokémon, he leaves Pikachu's Poké Ball next to it, and then stands before the Spearow, telling them to attack him in order to give Pikachu time to get inside its ball where it would be safe. However, just as the Spearow are about to dive on Ash, Pikachu leaps up and over Ash's shoulder. It jumps at the flock of Spearow. The lightning from the storm is drawn to Pikachu, highly raising its potential and strength by vast amounts, and it uses a massive electrical attack to take out the entire flock, as well as the girl's bike. Pikachu is drained of stamina from the effort.

Once the storm has cleared, Ash and Pikachu both rise from where they were knocked back on the ground, exhausted but victorious. Ash looks up and sees {{an|Ho-Oh|an unknown Pokémon}} majestically flying through the sky, over the rainbow that had been left after the storm, but his Pokédex could not identify the species.

He continues on, carrying his new friend Pikachu in his arms as he walks the rest of the way to Viridian City, knowing that something big is ahead of him; something to fight for.

Hi Maverick, i need your help.
Actually i used to upload new pictures (with high/better quality) for old articles of bulbapedia such as EP099.
Yesterday, i uploaded a new image for EP099 article. That image was the screenshot from the deleted scene of EP099. I uploaded it because the previous image on the deleted scene section of the article was in low and poor quality. My new image was totally fine with nice quality and was 100% suitable for that section of the article. A user named J-J-M deleted my pic and said that it is not the part of deleted scene. I don't no what's wrong with him, i saw that episode again and it was the part of it (deleted scene) along with that he also deleted that pic and i can't undo now.
Please help me and suggest whether i re-upload the image or anything else.
I am really working hard in finding new images and he don't have any right to spoil my hard work.
I am sorry if i bothered you but please tell me what should i do now.

I once said at my website [http://light.cvgrenier.com] that due to my parents, I wasn't allowed on communities. But when they meant 'communities' they actually meant 'FORUMS' or 'CHATROOMS'. When they saw that BulbaPedia was a Wikia, they said I can register, since it is not a forum or chatroom. Something VERY NASTY happened on a forum years ago as somebody asked for personal information... I alerted an Admin(who banned the guy) and my parents, who told me to immediatly leave the forum and never coming back. The forum was deleted but re-uploaded. ALL messages and users have been deleted, so I was happy with that.

P.S. For the "Top 4 Trainers" card (which isn't really called that), if you find out who came in second place for the Japan's Best tournament in 2002, you'll have the complete title of the card. It's too blurred to read, and I couldn't find reference to the winning participants anywhere... ==Synopsis==
While visiting a [[Big Town|city]] in [[Johto]], {{AP|Pikachu}} meets a pair of young, mischievous brothers called the [[Pichu Brothers]]. Pikachu manages to prevent one from falling off a building, only to end up being attacked by a flock of {{p|Murkrow}} for perching on a flagpole. Pikachu ends up hanging above the city block on a rope, which a Murkrow loosens, sending poor Pikachu flying through the air, air walking across a flock of {{p|Hoppip}} and lands on a window cleaner's bench, sending the window cleaner - {{MTR}} - slamming into a billboard. Pikachu befriends the Pichu Brothers who he believes are helping him return to his friends but they instead take him across the city.

The trio get into some trouble which include rolling off the top of a bus, into a river, where they are nearly run down by a ferry, and are pursued across the city by an angry {{p|Houndour}}. They escape Houndour and find the Pichu Brother's playhouse - which appears to have been handmade by the brothers and their large number of friends. The clock tower in the distance chimes five o'clock, Pikachu realizes that {{Ash}} mentioned that he and his friends would return for their [[Pokémon]] by six o'clock, and tries to leave. Houndour appears and chases the trio, seemingly nearly toppling over the playhouse. Houndour is buried by tires but Pikachu and the Pichu Brothers save him. Together, they and the brothers' friends straighten and rebuild the playhouse. However, time is nearly up for Pikachu, so he and the brothers hitch a ride in a tire and race back to the building where Pikachu must meet Ash. They hit Meowth on the way, who goes flying back into his window cleaner bench. Pikachu returns to the building and bids farewell to the Pichu Brothers. Pidgey resembles a small, plump-bodied bird. It is a brown color, with a lighter colored throat and belly. The tips of its wings share this cream color. Both its feet and beak are a pinkish-gray color. Its plumage is fairly nondescript, particularly compared to its evolutions Pidgeotto and Pidgeot. It has black markings around its eyes and a small crest of brown and cream feathers above its eyes. It resembles other small {{type2|Flying}} Pokémon such as {{P|Starly}}, {{P|Taillow}}, and {{P|Spearow}}. However, due to the fact that (with the exception of Spearow) these Pokémon tend to be unique to a region, it is likely that they are a result of {{wp|convergent evolution}}. Pidgey's feet allow it to walk on the ground for a while but can also reach out and safely land on perches.

Pidgey has an extremely sharp sense of direction and homing instincts. It can locate its nest even when far removed from familiar surroundings. Because of this, it is extremely easy to train to deliver messages.

===Behavior===
Pidgey are very common and can be seen in a variety of environments. It is a docile Pokémon, and generally prefers to flee from its enemies rather than fight them. Pidgey's small size permits it to easily hide in long grass, where it is typically found foraging for small insects. It is known to flush out potential prey from long grass by flapping its wings rapidly. This maneuver also serves to protect Pidgey from enemies. If disturbed, a Pidgey is capable of sending a blinding cloud of dust into the air, permitting it to make its escape. This evasive technique can also be applied to battles. While Pidgey generally do not like to fight, they have been known to strike with surprising fierceness when they are cornered. While Pidgey make ideal targets for young trainers, due to their temperaments, it is not unheard of for novice trainers to be seriously injured by a panicked Pidgey.

Hey, I saw that Maverick Nate is on Hiatus and it said to redirect stuff to you. I found some Trading Cards on the official Japanese Pokémon Website, and I couldn't find a couple on here. The ones I found were [http://www.pokemon-card.com/card/index.php?mode=imagelist&pg=121 Anime Characters Pokémon]. There are two pages for that one, just scroll down and click 2. Also, for the Anime Characters Pokémon the Pichu cards are animated. Second, I found the [http://www.pokemon-card.com/products/promotion/randompack2009/ Movie 12 Pokémon Cards].
