These episodes follow [[Ash Ketchum]] in his Pokémon journey across the [[Sinnoh]] region. He is joined once more by his friend {{an|Brock}}, as well as another rookie {{pkmn|Coordinator}}, {{an|Dawn}}.

Uh, "US: Green"? Isn't that a bit ethnocentrial? What about the U.K., Australia, Canada, Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, and all the other places which have an English version of this series? In fact, the English version of Blue is still known as Green in the translations being done by Chuang Yi, which aren't even released in the U.S.

Additionally, the continuity error might not happen in all versions of the manga--for all we know, this bit could be one of Chuang Yi's infamous mistakes that keep some people from actually trusting them. Also, if this indeed true and her Granbull is indeed listed as female in Volume 24, shouldn't it be listed as female here, as that is later? So, according to Dogasu, this is NOT just a reprint. It’s unflipped and edited differently, including some stuff that was not in the original release - ''yet they have still chosen to call the male rival Blue''. I will be picking it up myself soon to verify, but this completely invalidates the argument that they are just using their original version, and calling these characters by these names out of habit. Having left [[Snowpoint City]] behind, {{Ash}} and {{ashfr|his friends}} are now aboard a train leading to [[Lake Acuity]], where Ash is due to have his full battle against [[Paul]]. Ash is naturally determined to win when he and the others meet an absent-minded man called [[Looker]] who is also on the train, and is almost knocked over when Ash shouted his determination and drops the lunchboxes he is carrying which [[Brock]], Ash and {{an|Dawn}} are all able to catch. Ash apologises and asks Looker if he's ok, to which the muddle-minded gentleman replies in the positive. Brock asks him if the boxed lunch was the train station's best food, and Looker gives Ash, Dawn and Brock one as a gift as he had accidentally ordered too many from the seller. The gang introduced themselves to Looker, and Looker introduced himself. Team Rocket, in disguise, also receive the box lunch from Looker. But Looker still had lots of food, so he decided to give it to the driver, his assistant and the driver's Pokémon. Brock told Ash that the Pokémon should be an {{type2|electric}} Pokémon.

As the train travelled on to Lake Acuity, the driver tells his Pokémon, an {{p|Ampharos}}, to use {{m|Thunderbolt}}. The driver's assistant tells the gang that the train is powered by Ampharos's electric attacks, leaving the group underderstandingly impressed by the cooperation between Ampharos and the driver. Looker gives the box lunch to the train crew when suddenly the driver stops the train as the signal ahead is set at red for danger.

The driver decides to check what's happening, however when he makes a call he is informed there is nothing wrong with the line ahead despite the signal that says otherwise. As there may be a problem with the line that hasn't been relayed to the operators the assistant and Looker decide to go outside and check while the driver goes to inform the passengers of the situation. Meanwhile the gang decide this is the perfect time to eat their lunches, and as the train is delayed they decide to eat it outside and let their Pokémon out of their [[Poké Ball]]s for a while. Team Rocket decide to take advantage of the opportunity and make an attempt to steal all the Pokémon. As they were about to leave their seat, the driver told them not to worry while they can watch the scenery. In a bad mood, Jessie almost tells the driver about their intentions however luckily Meowth covers her big mouth in time.

Outside, Looker discovers that the track that has supposedly hasn't been used for a long time doesn't have one speck of dust on it, implying it's getting used on a regular basis despite being closed down. The assistant replies that it could be a prank, however the junction points on to the 'disused' line have also been changed. Looker realises that the points were changed intentionally, and the assistant tells Looker to go back to the train while he would go and investigate the junction. However, rather that head back to the train Looker heads down the mysterious line.

Ash decides it's the perfect time for him and his Pokémon to get some quick training done before the battle against Paul. Then suddenly a strong wind appears... however it's not a wind but Team Rocket with a new suction machine attached to their balloon that sucks up everyone's Pokémon (besides {{AP|Grotle}} and {{TP|Dawn|Mamoswine}}). The gang demand their Pokémon back, but naturally Jessie refuses. Team Rocket prepare to make their getaway when the driver notices what is happening and has Ampharos use {{m|Signal Beam}} on the balloon. This allows most of the Pokémon to escape but {{AP|Pikachu}}, {{TP|Dawn|Piplup}} and {{TP|Brock|Happiny}} get caught in a net. Ampharos jumps up to the net while the driver commands Ampharos to destroy the remote control. Having left [[Snowpoint City]] behind, {{Ash}} and {{ashfr|his friends}} are now aboard a train leading to [[Lake Acuity]], where Ash is due to have his full battle against [[Paul]]. Ash is naturally determined to win when he and the others meet an absent-minded man called [[Looker]] who is also on the train, and is almost knocked over when Ash shouted his determination and drops the lunchboxes he is carrying which [[Brock]], Ash and {{an|Dawn}} are all able to catch. Ash apologises and asks Looker if he's ok, to which the muddle-minded gentleman replies in the positive. Brock asks him if the boxed lunch was the train station's best food, and Looker gives Ash, Dawn and Brock one as a gift as he had accidentally ordered too many from the seller. The gang introduced themselves to Looker, and Looker introduced himself. Team Rocket, in disguise, also receive the box lunch from Looker. But Looker still had lots of food, so he decided to give it to the driver, his assistant and the driver's Pokémon. Brock told Ash that the Pokémon should be an {{type2|electric}} Pokémon.

As the train travelled on to Lake Acuity, the driver tells his Pokémon, an {{p|Ampharos}}, to use {{m|Thunderbolt}}. The driver's assistant tells the gang that the train is powered by Ampharos's electric attacks, leaving the group underderstandingly impressed by the cooperation between Ampharos and the driver. Looker gives the box lunch to the train crew when suddenly the driver stops the train as the signal ahead is set at red for danger.

The driver decides to check what's happening, however when he makes a call he is informed there is nothing wrong with the line ahead despite the signal that says otherwise. As there may be a problem with the line that hasn't been relayed to the operators the assistant and Looker decide to go outside and check while the driver goes to inform the passengers of the situation. Meanwhile the gang decide this is the perfect time to eat their lunches, and as the train is delayed they decide to eat it outside and let their Pokémon out of their [[Poké Ball]]s for a while. Team Rocket decide to take advantage of the opportunity and make an attempt to steal all the Pokémon. As they were about to leave their seat, the driver told them not to worry while they can watch the scenery. In a bad mood, Jessie almost tells the driver about their intentions however luckily Meowth covers her big mouth in time.

Outside, Looker discovers that the track that has supposedly hasn't been used for a long time doesn't have one speck of dust on it, implying it's getting used on a regular basis despite being closed down. The assistant replies that it could be a prank, however the junction points on to the 'disused' line have also been changed. Looker realises that the points were changed intentionally, and the assistant tells Looker to go back to the train while he would go and investigate the junction. However, rather that head back to the train Looker heads down the mysterious line.

Ash decides it's the perfect time for him and his Pokémon to get some quick training done before the battle against Paul. Then suddenly a strong wind appears... however it's not a wind but Team Rocket with a new suction machine attached to their balloon that sucks up everyone's Pokémon (besides {{AP|Grotle}} and {{TP|Dawn|Mamoswine}}). The gang demand their Pokémon back, but naturally Jessie refuses. :Indeed. Not only is there no precedent or fundamental reason to believe it will be the case, the contrary is more likely to occur. Hoenn and Sinnoh are based on Kyushu and Hokkaido, respectively, which are the only islands in Japan - other than Honshu - arguably big enough to be adapted as regions. By this I am suggesting that Generation V is more likely to revisit Honshu, of which there are plenty of as-yet unexplored territories. If that were to happen, the numbering system would no doubt pick up from Route 47, regardless of whether Kanto or Johto were included in the game.

:Some might also argue that Shikoku, which is another Japanese island, is not too small to serve as the basis of a new region. I've noticed something very interesting about the introduction of new Generations. One or more Pokémon from the next Generation are always revealed in the movie that features the last Pokémon in the current Generation. This has happened three times, and could well happen again:

*Pokémon 4ever - Features Celebi, the last Gen II Pokémon - Introduces Wailmer and Azurill

In the first two cases, those were not the first Pokémon of the new Gen to be revealed, and most of them were in Pikachu shorts, but it's still quite an interesting thing to note. If this pattern continues, then there could be one or more Gen V Pokémon in the twelfth movie (or its Pikachu short), as it features Arceus, the last Gen IV Pokémon. I HATE this argument. Just because it is credited with creating everything does NOT make it omnipotent, or unsurpassable in any other way. Technically, it's only been known to do one thing, and that's creating other pokemon (Dialga, Palkia, Giratina, Uxie, Mesprit, and Azelf) which in turn did all the work of creating the universe. And it's arguable that legendary pokemon are mor powerful in each generation (until Arceus, I don't think even the base stats of them were ever improved upon much-- are Groudon and Kyogre that much more powerful than Ho-oh and Lugia?). I'd say their powers and range of influence are just made "cooler", and I doubt Game Freak would be at a loss for that-- Many other fundamental aspects of the universe still have no legendary pokemon to call their own, like life and death. I'm not saying that this argument should be deleted from this page; after all, this is about the fandom, and many fans have the opinion "ARceuS Is gOD!!!1! ZOmG GameFreaKs caNT FoLlow Taht up!!!1!!!!!111!"

I've been noticing that a lot of anime episode articles have long paragraphs in the Synopsis and I find it pretty uncomfortable. Shouldn't there be put a limit on how long a paragraph can be in each episode article? Each paragraph should take short time to read, but really I've seen too many episode articles with long paragraphs.
