The [[Pokémon World Tournament]] is a facility south of [[Driftveil City]] that stands on the former [[Cold Storage]] site. Famous Pokémon Trainers from around the world gather here to compete against one another. Outside the building, several vendors stand ready to teach new moves to the competitors' Pokémon. To the west, the north side of the [[Relic Passage]] can be found.

The girl in the southwest booth is the Move Reminder. For the price of one {{DL|Valuable item|Heart Scale}} per transaction, she will re-teach an old move that your Pokémon has forgotten.

===Move Deleter===
East of the Move Reminder is the Move Deleter. This old man can help a Pokémon forget one of its moves, even HM moves that can't normally be forgotten.

===Ultimate Move Tutor===
The old man at the southeast booth can teach an ultimate move to any fully-evolved starter Pokémon. However, it must share a strong bond with its Trainer. The quiet {{t|Grass}} Pokémon like {{p|Serperior}} can learn {{m|Frenzy Plant}}, the blazing {{t|Fire}} Pokémon like {{p|Emboar}} can learn {{m|Blast Burn}}, and the restless {{t|Water}} Pokémon like {{p|Samurott}} can learn {{m|Hydro Cannon}}.

===Battle-Combo Move Tutor===
The man in the easternmost booth teaches a special move to any members of the starter Pokémon families. {{type|Grass}} Pokémon like the {{p|Snivy}} family can learn {{m|Grass Pledge}}, {{type|Fire}} Pokémon like the {{p|Tepig}} family can learn {{m|Fire Pledge}}, and {{type|Water}} Pokémon like the {{p|Oshawott}} family can learn {{m|Water Pledge}}. Using these moves on the same turn in a Double or Triple Battle will raise their power to 150, and activate additional effects.

[[Hugh]] and [[Clay]] are waiting outside the PWT building. When you approach, the Gym Leader proudly guides the two of you into the elaborate tournament hall. Inside is [[Cheren]], who was busy investigating something when he was strong-armed by Clay into participating. Follow him and Hugh north to register in the tournament.

====Driftveil Tournament====
Three consecutive victories are needed to win the [[Driftveil Tournament]]. The use of items is prohibited during the tournament, so hand out items to your Pokémon before registering. Opponents are not usually decided ahead of time, but for your first tournament, you will need to defeat [[Hugh]], [[Cheren]], and [[Colress]].

After earning 1 [[Battle Point|BP]] for winning the tournament, Roxie comes and tells that she will join the tournament. Clay thanks us for making Driftveil City popular and then leaves. Now head outside to see [[Team Plasma]] members passing by the building. [[Colress]] tries to stop [[Hugh]] from chasing them, but he doesn't listen, and follows them south to the pier. Rest up before following him.

==Plasma Frigate==
A large ship is moored at the pier. Go with Hugh and [[Cheren]] to storm the ship, which turns out to be [[Plasma Frigate|Team Plasma's base of operations]]. The three of you are immediately surrounded by a crowd of Grunts. Defeat the first two on your own, then team up with Cheren then Hugh to take out the others.

The [[Relic Passage]] is a large underground cave that was only recently discovered. It connects the [[Pokémon World Tournament]] and the [[Castelia Sewers]]. One of the tunnels leads to the lowest floor of the [[Relic Castle]], buried deep under the desert sands. The {{DL|Phenomenon|dust cloud}}s that randomly pop up not only give you a chance of encountering a wild {{p|Drilbur}} or {{p|Onix}}, but it also gives you a chance of acquiring a random [[Shard|colored shard]]. This can help with collecting the shards you need to trade in to a Move Tutor for your Pokémon to learn any compatible move they offer.

A {{DL|Valuable item|Big Pearl}} lies on the lake's west side, while a {{DL|Shard|Blue Shard}} is hidden in a rock to the south, and a {{DL|Repel|Max Repel}} hides in the dead-end path to the southeast. Continue eastward to fight Psychic Tully, and check the nearby rock for a {{DL|Shard|Green Shard}}. Head northeast to battle Psychic Ena, then check the rock here for a {{DL|Shard|Red Shard}}. {{m|Strength|Move}} the boulder out of the way, and walk through the northeast opening to reach the [[Relic Castle]].

==Relic Castle==

The lowest floor of the [[Relic Castle]] is a hallway consisting of five rooms. Visit the easternmost room to get an {{ball|Ultra}}, and check the center room for a hidden [[Sun Stone]]. Go north to reach the final room, which is home to the {{2t|Bug|Fire}} Pokémon, {{p|Volcarona}}. If you defeat the Sun Pokémon, it will respawn when you enter the Hall of Fame.

====Clefairy Dance====
From 8:00 PM Monday through 4:00 AM Tuesday, six {{p|Clefairy}} appear in the field to the west. Four of them begin dancing around the pond, which shows a reflection of the full moon. When you enter the field, they get startled and run away, leaving behind an item that turns out to be a [[Moon Stone]]. The group returns to worship the moon every week.

Enter the south side of the cave for a shortcut to the exit.

Immediately after the battle, [[Professor Juniper]] calls on the [[Xtransceiver]] and tells you to meet her in the [[gate]] to [[Nimbasa City]]. Instead of heading north right away, follow the road to the west. Stock up on [[drink]]s from the vending machine, and talk to a {{tc|Worker}} in the house here to get {{TM|28|Dig}}. Continue along the western road to reach the [[Desert Resort]].

==Desert Resort==

The [[Desert Resort]] is a huge desert with an ever-raging {{Weather|sandstorm}}. To the north, along the river's edge, are the [[Relic Castle]] and the Relic Castle Tower. A group of ancient Pokémon statues quietly watch over the castle entrance. If you get into trouble, talk to {{tc|Doctor}} Jerry near the desert entrance to heal your Pokémon. Take some time to train here before reaching the [[Nimbasa Gym]].

==Relic Castle==

The [[Relic Castle]] is ancient ruins buried in the sand. Quicksand has eaten away at the unstable floors, and anyone trying to run through it is caught up and dropped to the floor below. At this point in the story, you'll only be able to reach the first two floors, as the rest are still buried under the desert. You'll be able to explore the other floors later on, after the {{tc|Worker}} here clears out the rest of the sand.

====Get a Pokémon Fossil====
Speak to the {{tc|Backpacker}} on the west side of first floor. She has been carrying around a pair of [[Fossil]]s, and will let you choose one to keep. The [[Cover and Plume Fossils|Cover Fossil]] will become the {{2t|Water|Rock}} {{p|Tirtouga}}, while the [[Cover and Plume Fossils|Plume Fossil]] will become the {{2t|Rock|Flying}} {{p|Archen}}. You can return to the museum in [[Nacrene City]] anytime and talk to the woman near the entrance to resurrect the ancient Pokémon.

Leave the desert and continue north. When you enter {{ci|Nimbasa}}'s southern [[gate]], you run into [[Cheren]] and [[Professor Juniper]], who gives you each 10 {{DL|Poké Ball|Ultra Ball}}s. The professor leaves to find [[Bianca]], and Cheren heads off to comb the desert for new Pokémon.

==Nimbasa City==

When they leave, the Day-Care Man gives you a [[Bicycle]] as a token of his gratitude. From this point on, you can now leave up to two Pokémon at the Day-Care on {{rt|3|Unova}}.

===Meet up with Bianca===
After rescuing the Day-Care Man from [[Team Plasma]], [[Bianca]] shows up and mentions all the exciting attractions that {{ci|Nimbasa}} has to offer. She heads off to the [[Pokémon Musical]], where you'll catch up with her a little later.

===Battle Institute===
After completing the main story, you can visit the {{DL|Nimbasa City|Battle Institute}} to take a Battle Test. The test consists of five consecutive single or Double Battles, and you earn a rank and score for completing all five.

===Get HM04===
Visit the house north of the Battle Institute and talk to the blue-haired guy inside. He hands over {{HM|04|Strength}}, which lets your Pokémon shove large boulders around.

===Big Stadium and Small Court===
[[Big Stadium and Small Court|Big Stadium]] and [[Big Stadium and Small Court|Small Court]] are the major sports venues of the [[Unova]] region. The stadium hosts baseball, soccer, and football, while the court hosts tennis and basketball. The players double as Trainers and can be battled daily, except when a game is in progress. The number of Trainers and the levels of their Pokémon increase as you earn more Badges. Keep yourself fighting fit by visiting every day.

===Battle Subway===
When you try to enter the [[Battle Subway]], a woman steps out of the building and hands you the [[Vs. Recorder]]. This device lets you record a video of a battle in the Battle Subway, or a Link Battle with a friend.

In the [[Battle Subway]], you can get on a real winning streak. For every seven Trainers you defeat, you'll gain [[Battle Point]]s, which can be exchanged for useful items. The more Trainers you defeat, the more BP you can collect.

===Musical Theater===
The Musical Theater is where the [[Pokémon Musical]] is held. [[Bianca]] is waiting outside the building for you, located on the north side of the city. The two of you meet the building's owner inside, who gives you each a {{key|V|Prop Case}}. After Bianca leaves, speak to the girl in white near the PC to get {{TM|49|Echoed Voice}}.

====Bianca's Dad====
When you leave the Musical Theater, you'll see [[Bianca]] talking with her dad. He has been worrying about her welfare, and has come to take her home. {{ci|Nimbasa}}'s Gym Leader, [[Elesa]], can't stand the fighting. She intervenes and convinces Bianca's dad that his daughter will be fine.

===Amusement Park===
The [[Nimbasa Gym]] is located in the amusement park on the east side of the city. When you first visit the park, you'll run into [[N]]. He asks if you are looking for [[Team Plasma]], and suggests that the two of you ride the ferris wheel to find them. It is here that he reveals himself as Team Plasma's king. He has been working with [[Ghetsis]] to liberate Pokémon. When you climb off of the ride, he battles you to buy time for the grunts' retreat.

The [[Nimbasa Gym]] specializes in {{type|Electric}}s. Fitting with the city's focus on entertainment, the Gym features multiple roller coasters that challengers must ride to reach the Gym Leader, and a series of switches to change the cars' direction.

[[Elesa]]'s two {{p|Emolga}} are vulnerable to {{t|Ice}}- and {{type|Rock}} moves, and her {{p|Zebstrika}} is weak against {{type|Ground}} attacks. But be wary of Emolga's ability, {{a|Static}}, which may paralyze your Pokémon on contact. All three of her Pokémon know the {{m|Volt Switch}}, which lets her switch her Pokémon after attacking. If you decide to use TM moves, {{TM|28|Dig}} and {{TM|39|Rock Tomb}} are good choices.

==Lilycove City==
The hideout belonging to [[Team Magma]]{{sup/6|OR}}/[[Team Aqua]]{{sup/6|AS}} can be found in a cave to the northeast of {{ci|Lilycove}}'s beach. You'll need to storm their hideout in order to retrieve [[Captain Stern]]'s submarine, so bring a party that can handle plenty of battles against them. When choosing your team, remember that Team Magma often uses {{t|Fire}}- and {{type|Dark}} Pokémon, while Team Aqua often uses {{t|Water}}- and Dark-type Pokémon.

Climb the stairway and take the warp panel to the east. This leads you to a small enclosed room; collect the {{DL|Valuable item|Nugget}} before warping back. Continue west then north to reach another warp panel; this one takes you to 1F's northeast room. Go east, defeat the two Grunts, then take the warp panel to the southwest room; take a rest in one of the beds and grab the {{DL|Potion|Full Restore}} before warping back. Next, take the stairs down to B1F.

===B1F===
A [[vending machine]] just south of the stairs offers drinks for {{pdollar}}50 less than usual. Pick up the nearby [[Escape Rope]] then head east. Battle another Grunt to reach a small lab with a meteorite; it seems Team Magma had tried to create their own {{key|VI|Red Orb}} by irradiating the rock with lasers. There are two warp panels in this room. Take the northwest panel to a library room and collect the [[Max Elixir]] before warping back. The northeast panel leads to another panel that leads to [[Tabitha]]'s room. Return to the meteorite room and take the warp panel in the hallway to the southeast. Go west to reach another small lab, where sturdy protective gear called the {{key|VI|Magma Suit}} is on display. Grab the {{ball|Nest}} in the northeast corner, then take the southeast warp. This leads to another warp that leads to the dock on B4F; pick up the {{DL|Vitamin|PP Max}} before warping back. In the Magma Suit lab, take the southwest warp to another warp that leads to [[Courtney]]'s room; collect {{TM|97|Dark Pulse}} and warp back. Exit the room, fight another Grunt, then go north to another warp panel. This takes you to the middle of B1F, and two more warp panels. Take the southern warp to B2F.

===B2F===
B2F is mostly one large room with a dozen warp panels. To advance, start with the right-most panel, then the middle one, then the right-most one. This takes you to the southern-most row; take the southeast warp here to reach [[Maxie]]'s room.

===B3F===
In Maxie's room, you'll find four items in the northwest corner. Two of them are actually {{p|Electrode}} in disguise, while the bottom-right item is a {{DL|Valuable item|Nugget}} and the top-left item is a {{ball|Master}}! This type of Poké Ball will catch any wild Pokémon without fail, and is best used on hard-to-catch legendary Pokémon.

===B2F===
In the warp panel room, start on the middle panel in the south row, then go left to reach the north end of the room. Take the northern-most warp back to the middle of B1F.

===B1F===
Fight off the Grunt here and step on the warp panel to the west. This leads to the south side of B4F.

===B4F===
On B4F, Team Magma has nearly finished their modifications to [[Captain Stern]]'s submarine. Defeat the nearest Grunt, then fight off a group of five Grunts at once in a [[Horde Encounter|Horde Battle]]. Grab the {{DL|Revive|Max Revive}} tucked away in the southwest corner, then go north to confront [[Magma Admin Courtney|Courtney]]. She's the only thing standing between you and stopping [[Maxie]]'s getaway!

The battle lasted just long enough for Maxie to escape in his souped-up submarine. You've got to chase after him to the [[Seafloor Cavern]], but you have no means of diving underwater like he can in his sub. For now, you'll have to keep to the surface. Head north then east and take the warp panel there back to the cave entrance and [[Lilycove City]]. The Grunt and his {{p|Wailmer}} blockade have disappeared from the beach, leaving you free to venture out into the eastern ocean.

Go east to reach another small lab, where sturdy protective gear called the {{key|VI|Aqua Suit}} is on display. Grab the {{ball|Nest}} in the northwest corner, then take the southwest warp. This leads to another warp that leads to the dock on B4F; pick up the {{DL|Vitamin|PP Max}} before warping back. In the Aqua Suit lab, take the southeast warp to another warp that leads to [[Matt]]'s room; collect {{TM|97|Dark Pulse}} and warp back. Exit the room, fight another Grunt, then go north to another warp panel. This takes you to the middle of B1F, and two more warp panels. Take the southern warp to B2F.

===B2F===
B2F is mostly comprised of one large room with a dozen warp panels. To advance, start with the left-most panel, then the middle one, then the left-most one. This takes you to the southern-most row; take the southwest warp here to reach [[Archie]]'s room.

===B3F===
In Archie's room, you'll find four items in the northeast corner. Two of them are actually {{p|Electrode}} in disguise, while the bottom-left item is a {{DL|Valuable item|Nugget}} and the top-right item is a {{ball|Master}}! This type of Poké Ball will catch any wild Pokémon without fail, and is best used on hard-to-catch legendary Pokémon.

===B2F===
In the warp panel room, start on the middle panel in the south row, then go right to reach the north end of the room. Take the northern-most warp back to the middle of B1F.

===B1F===
Fight off the Grunt here and step on the warp panel to the east. This leads to the south side of B4F.

===B4F===
On B4F, Team Aqua has nearly finished their modifications to [[Captain Stern]]'s submarine. Defeat the nearest Grunt, then fight off a group of five Grunts at once in a [[Horde Encounter|Horde Battle]]. Grab the {{DL|Revive|Max Revive}} tucked away in the southeast corner, then go north to confront [[Aqua Admin Matt|Matt]]. He's the only thing standing between you and stopping [[Archie]]'s getaway!

The battle lasted just long enough for Archie to escape in his souped-up submarine. You've got to chase after him to the [[Seafloor Cavern]], but you have no means of diving underwater like he can in his sub. For now, you'll have to keep to the surface. Head north then west and take the warp panel there back to the cave entrance and [[Lilycove City]]. The Grunt and his {{p|Wailmer}} blockade have disappeared from the beach, leaving you free to venture out into the eastern ocean.

==Route 124==

It's not possible to fully explore the area without {{m|Dive|a certain field move}}, so for now the route simply serves as a connector between {{ci|Lilycove}} to the west, {{rt|126|Hoenn}} to the south, and [[Mossdeep City]] to the east.

'''Pokémon World Online''', or '''PWO''', is a {{wp|beta version|beta}} game that was created by Kyrocorp and the first beta release of the game was 27 December 2007. The game is currently utilizing graphics based on the {{game|FireRed and LeafGreen|s}} versions of the game, as well as some overlap with {{game|Emerald}} version graphics. The game has an online chat area, where it is possible to ask for help or request trades or battles. There is also a Private Messaging system in place.

==History==
The original idea behind Pokémon World Online was conceptualized by childhood friends Kyro and Zammbi. Kyro, who also designed and developed Pokémon Battle Arena, decided to develop an online version of the original handheld games he had grown up playing. Asking his friend Zammbi for help with his project, Zammbi became co-founder of PWO. Releasing the first version of their beta client in early January 2008, the two friends saw the birth of the new game prosper. Within a year, the game was receiving 500 connections per day. By the end of the second year this number had nearly doubled.

Soon after, Kyro left Pokémon World Online to work on other projects, leaving Zammbi the sole project lead. In late 2010 Pokémon World Online received a Cease and Desist letter from Nintendo, which caused a 6 month server downtime. Soon after, with Zammbi AWOL, Xanatus and Shane stepped up and created Code Core Entertainment to bring back Pokémon World Online from the ashes.

On November 3 of 2011, PWO's forums switched from IPB to Simple Machines software. Everything was transferred over and nothing was lost. The forums later switched to PhpBB's software.

==Development==
Pokémon World Online uses {{wp|C++}} for its server coding, and its current client is a hybridization of the {{wp|Visual Basic}} and {{wp|DirectX}} languages. As the current client is only usable on {{wp|Windows}} operating systems (without including selected {{wp|Macintosh}} and {{wp|Linux}} computers).

Updates to the game are released roughly every 4 months at minimum. It is not uncommon for updates to take up to 6 months or more before release. The previous two major updates that occurred in 2009 changed the client interface and added many additional features, such as the ability for players to block trade requests and a basic [[Walking Pokémon|following]] system.

Currently, the development team consists of Xanatus, Shane and Thugie, and the administrator team (currently Bluerise and Jinji) has also helped with server side updates. Shane is partly active and is semi-actively coding. As of mid 2009, Kyro is working on other projects at present. As of 6/30/2011, PWO has a new playerdex dev, under the name of Vetle. On the week of July 12, 2011, a new developer named Zidonuke was added to PWO's team. He would be in charge of coding for the server, client, and official website. His work would eventually be met with great opposition, much to Zidonuke's dismay. Zidonuke has since been let go after a host of drama, with Donar taking place as lead server developer.

On the 6th August 2012, PWO had two of its biggest updates of the year with trade logging and all moves being updated. The latter update was left as a parting present from Crenel who was switching from the Administrator group to the Journalist group (which is now defunct).

==Reputation System==
Reputation is the current system used to determine if a player is allowed to trade or not. If a player's Reputation is equal to or higher than 30 points, trading is allowed, otherwise they cannot. Some NPCs also require a certain Reputation value before they can be battled. Players earn reputation points by defeating NPCs and other players.

Whenever a player defeats an NPC he or she will earn 0.2 reputation points. If a player defeats another player, they will earn 1/20th of the reputation points that the defeated player has obtained. On average, most players will be able to trade around the time they have defeated the 4th Gym Leader (currently Erika of Celadon City in Kanto or Whitney of Goldenrod City in Johto). It is possible to have 30 reputation points long beforehand, however, if one is capable of handling the stronger Trainers and to win every battle thrown in one's path.

==Staff==
Pokémon World Online's [http://pwo-wiki.info/index.php/Staff staff] are international volunteers, mainly residing in the UK. Other staff members are from the United States, as well as other parts across the world.

The highest-tier staff members are the Developers (DEVs) and Admins, followed (in order of rank) by the Game Moderators (GMs), Game Editors (GEs), and Community Guides (formerly known as Guides or Moderators) (CG).

Due to a major reorganization that took place in August, all groups including Mappers, Editors and GFX artists were to be counted as staff for the game. During this time Moderators were shortly changed to Greeters before becoming the Guide group, then renamed to Community Guides.

Also recently after a staff reconstruction, GMs were split into two groups. Game moderators and Game editors. GMs working on the moderating aspect, and GEs working on the content aspect. Some GMs have dual responsibilities. Guides, formerly known as moderators, were renamed to Community Guides. Editors were renamed to Journalists, and the Composers group being added in.

The Community Guides play no direct role in the game's development, instead working as Community Support and Greeters for new players. GMs are mainly responsible for moderating the chat and handling scam cases and bans. GEs are responsible for much of the game's map, quest, wild Pokémon (referred to as "spawns"), NPC, and Event content. Admins develop the game's websites and forums, while the Developers focus on the game itself. Many Developers are also Admins.
PWO also has Spriting, Mapping teams, as well as Composers and Artists, with also a Journalism team.
Recently, DEV Shane has left development of PWO to work on his own project.

==Playerdex==
The Playerdex is a supplementary website that provides PWO's players with access to their Pokémon offline. From the Playerdex, it is possible to add and remove friends, search for other Trainers, release Pokémon and view their stats, and manage guilds. The Playerdex was developed by Fennikusu and is one of the game's greatest resources.
Fennikusu has since left the team, and the game is searching for another web developer.

Other features of the Playerdex range from an offline Pokédex (which is also present in the game) to customizable player profiles reminiscent of {{wp|Facebook}}, albeit much simpler.

==Problems==
Scamming is a prevalent problem in Pokémon World Online. A double trade window was introduced for Client version 1.7 that could allow people to double check the trades being made. Protection for membership and tokens trades is still not available in-game. Other problems include trolls and intense, heated guild rivalries.
As of recently, Pokémon World Online has had some trouble with freezing. This is due to the poor server coding that was left over when Kyro left the team. Shane has since installed the new map server, and the majority of map loading problems have been fixed.

On the week of July 12, 2011 PWO got a new developer by the name of Zidonuke. Zidonuke was to code the server, but on the night of July 18, he got fed up with the majority of the community and started deleting the database, Playerdex, forums, and site. As of July 19, Xanatus is working on getting a backup of the server. Also as of July 28, the forums are back up permanently. The old backup of them was lost and could not be recovered. As of today Pokemon World Online is fully back up and running with few issues.

==Biology==
Blacephalon has a humanoid figure with a slender torso and wide hips. Its legs are white with balls on the front, a pink one on the left leg and a blue one on the right leg. Its feet are shaped as if it is wearing high-heeled boots with pointed tips. The main body is yellow with alternating pink and blue stripes. It has a white ball on its chest and one as a tail. Its right arm is pink and its left arm is blue. Its hands are white and have frills on the wrists. A larger frill is around its neck and in the middle is a hole — the shape of the ripples change slightly depending on Blacephalon's mood.

For a head, Blacephalon has a white ball with a multitude of pink and blue dots supposedly made of tiny sparks, which can change color to reflect its emotions. On both sides of the ball are stars with an alternating pink and blue color pattern — the tapering on the ends of these also changes depending on Blacephalon's mood. In the middle of these stars are yellow spots which may be Blacephalon's eyes. Blacephalon's head is not attached to the body, and can grow or shrink in size when it attacks.

With the beginnings of a new universe laid out before him, Cyrus of Team Galactic faces extreme opposition. But aid arrives in an unusual form.

==Plot==
At the [[Spear Pillar]] on the summit of [[Mt. Coronet]], [[Team Galactic]]'s leader, [[Cyrus]], summons the [[Legendary Pokémon]] {{p|Dialga}} and {{p|Palkia}}, who appear though their portals. As they appear, the two Legendary Pokémon are tangled in the [[Red Chain]]s. As the two struggle, while [[Mars]] and [[Jupiter]] watch from afar, Cyrus begins to reveal his plan about the creation of a new world, one that will have a new beginning, bringing the current world to an end.

At the [[Team Galactic HQ]], [[Saturn]] is observing the events from a giant screen. Cyrus then addresses Dialga and Palkia, ordering them to give him their power in order to create a new world, and as the chains around them begin to tighten, they glow, releasing their energy to create cracks in the stone pillars and ground beneath them, causing the {{p|Glameow}} to dart back, surprised. As the world around them begins to end, Mars and Jupiter compliment Cyrus as they're closer to achieving Team Galactic's goal, but an angry voice orders them to stop. Turning around, they notice that [[Cynthia]], the [[Sinnoh League]] {{pkmn|Champion}}, has arrived in order to prevent Team Galactic from continuing with their plan as she orders Cyrus to release Dialga and Palkia immediately.

Spots of inky black start to cover the ground, growing larger and larger, creating vibrations that reach the Team Galactic HQ, until everything instantly comes to a stop. Everyone watches, waiting, but Cyrus smirks for a moment before watching a Pokémon emerge from the mass. Made of a black, inky substance, the clear silhouette of {{p|Giratina}}'s {{DL|List of Pokémon with form differences|Giratina|Altered Form}} rises from the blackness. As all this occurs, the team back at HQ is watching, completely stunned. Cyrus refers to Giratina as the "Pokémon that comes from shadows", before having Dialga and Palkia attack it with {{m|Roar of Time}} and {{m|Spacial Rend}}, respectively. Easily dodging the attacks, Giratina retaliates with two {{m|Shadow Ball}}s that destroy the Red Chains, allowing Dialga and Palkia to escape. Giratina then turns its wrath on Cyrus, seemingly engulfing him. Once the smoke clears, Mars and Jupiter are screaming for Cyrus as the find that he has disappeared, along with the strange Pokémon. Back and the HQ, Saturn desperately tries to make contact with Cyrus.

Laying on the ground, Cyrus comes around, noticing Giratina staring blankly at him. He begins commenting on the world he is now in and sarcastically asks Giratina if it is now satisfied after ruining his plans for a new world. Getting to his feet, Cyrus looks around at the [[Distortion World|strange world around him]], realizing that there is nothing to this world, nor is there anything there, and that the world he desired is exactly like this one. Turning to Giratina, he smirks as he ponders.

Still attempting to make contact with Cyrus, Saturn finally picks up a signal and hears Cyrus saying that he doesn't want them to look for him. The signal gets cut out, and Saturn's further requests for his boss's location don't get an answer. He finally takes off his headset, accepting Cyrus's final order.
