:::::::We do appreciate your work writing these summaries, but if you're not going to correctly template and format them, you only give us more work; following behind your every edit and fixing your formatting. Time and edits that could be spent writing summaries in the correct format the first time around.
:::::::I'm not asking you to memorize much, or completely re-learn coding. It's as simple as using <code><nowiki>{{p|Pikachu}} instead of [[Pikachu (Pokémon)|Pikachu]]</nowiki></code>, and so on. The link templates aren't hard to remember at all; if you can't remember one, it's not a huge deal, if you mess one up, not a big issue. But if you're going to completely ignore them because you prefer to do it Wikipedia style, then perhaps you'd be better off spending your time editing Wikipedia, rather then coming here and attempting to apply Wikipedia's style to Bulbapedia.
:::::::And just an FYI, I'm personally a long-time editor of both Wikipedia and a few other MediaWiki sites, as well as an administrator on a few. I know what you mean when you say you've grown used to the normal link formatting. A woman at Boon Island's [[Cape Brink]] will teach one move to each of the fully evolved Kanto starter Pokémon. There are two Move Tutors in Sinnoh - one on {{rt|228|Sinnoh}} and one on {{rt|210|Sinnoh}}. The move tutor on Route 210 teaches {{m|Draco Meteor}} to a Dragon-type Pokémon which has had its [[happiness]] maximized. Similar to the Cape Brink move tutor in FireRed and LeafGreen, the Route 228 Move Tutor will teach one of the elemental versions of {{m|Hyper Beam}} to a fully-evolved starter with maximum happiness. Unlike the Cape Brink tutor, it can be any of the twelve [[starter Pokémon]], but the move's type will always correspond with the Pokémon's primary type. Also unlike the Cape Brink tutor, it can be taught as many times as the player likes.

==Geography==
In the games, Mt. Silver is off-limits to all but the most skilled of Trainers. After {{ga|Ethan}} or {{ga|Kris}} has received all sixteen badges of Johto and Kanto, [[Professor Oak]] will give him or her permission to travel here.

[[Kanto Route 28|The route]] to the area is rough, though no [[HM]]s are explicitly required to reach the [[Pokémon Center]] just outside the entrance. Inside, however, the cave is dark, requiring {{m|Flash}} to see. Many high-level Pokémon reside in the cave, including rare Pokémon not found elsewhere in the Johto region, like {{p|Larvitar}} and {{p|Misdreavus}}.

The cave has only one entrance, unlike all other caves found in {{game2|Gold|Silver|Crystal}}, but goes deep into the mountain. In the cave's final room, the player will encounter {{ga|Red|a familiar face}} who will, wordlessly, challenge him or her to what is the highest-leveled Trainer battle in the history of the Pokémon series.

In HeartGold and SoulSilver, Mt. Silver is much larger. {{m|Flash}} is no longer needed to light up the cave. The higher sections of the cave where Red is located require {{m|Rock Climb}} to access. At times the player must also venture onto the slopes on the mountain's sides in order to climb higher.

Which sources do you use to extract pictures from? I could try and use the same sources. When onw cannot download something, or when the Print option is not available, would using Ctrl+Prt Scr SysRq (not sure of the official name) and then transferring it to a Paint file with appropriate trimming if needed and saving as .png work? :I don't really have a specific source right now; I just Google search the episode. For the Original series it's a bit hard to find good quality videos, and the best ones I could find were about 175MB in size and in .avi format. In regards to the point you made about the Print Screen option not being available, that's really not the case, it's just that I had to download a separate codec for that in order to Print Screen the shot, otherwise it would show up as black when I would paste it. You shouldn't have to worry about that if you're working on more recent episodes. If you find high quality Youtube videos and are able to 'Print Screen' it, that should work, but to get the best quality you're better off downloading it yourself. Persian, although popular for their elegance, are extremely difficult to raise as a pet. Underneath its refined facade is a fierce predator. It will {{m|Scratch}} anyone, including its Trainers, with little or no provocation. One should be wary if Persian raises its tail straight up, as it is a signal that Persian is about to pounce and bite. Persian has been observed ripping its prey apart for no discernible reason. A useful trick to know when training Persian, is that if it is yanked by its whiskers, it becomes temporarily docile. The reason for this is unknown. It is known to hold its tail out straight if it is an experienced battler.

==Trivia==
*In Generations I-III, Persian learned {{m|Pay Day}} by leveling up just like {{p|Meowth}}, but it no longer does in Generation IV, meaning that a Meowth must hold back on its evolution to get a Persian with Pay Day.
*Both of Persian's abilities can be used by a member of the {{p|Tyrogue}} evolution line ({{p|Hitmonlee}} has Limber, and {{p|Hitmontop}} has Technician).
*Shiny Persian has had its sprite altered in every generation: in [[Generation III]] it was changed from a tan color to pale white, and in Generation IV it was changed back.
**[[Giovanni's Persian]] is possibly a shiny Persian, judging by the fact the inside of it’s ears are not tan, but pink. This may explain why he values it so highly. (However, it had pink ears before Generation II, so this may be coincidental.)
* Persian's {{v2|Crystal}} still sprite is different from that of {{2v2|Gold|Silver}}, making it one of few Pokémon to have three distinctly different sprites in [[Generation II]].

Its appearance is arguably more similar to {{wp|Siamese (cat)|Siamese cats}} than its namesake, its species in Japanese is シャムネコ or "shamuneko" meaning "Siamese Cat". Others think Persian looks more like {{wp|big cat}}s such as {{wp|Puma (genus)|Puma}}s. The gem on its head can make it resemble a {{wp|Carbuncle (mythology)|Carbuncle}}, a Latin-American mythological beast which had a jewel on its forehead.

==Trivia==
*The Hoenn Sound channel plays on Wednesday, considered the third day of the week in some parts of the world. This corresponds with Hoenn's introduction in [[Generation III]]. Likewise, the Sinnoh Sound channel plays on Thursday, sometimes considered the fourth day, matching [[Generation IV]].
*{{p|Meditite}} is the only Pokémon found with the regional music programs that doesn't match the generation, being a {{cat|Generation III Pokémon}} found with [[Sinnoh Sound]]. This is probably due its greater prominence in the [[Generation IV]] games.
