I've gotten this through a different way, and found another glitch when getting it.

#Get an Action Replay.
#Make sure you haven't done the Riolu egg event yet.
#Use the walk through walls cheat.
#Go to Iron island. Get to, erm, I forgot his name, but the guy that follows you around.
#After he starts following you, walk around the stairs then walk through them (just so you can go up them without triggering the event of him leaving you).
#Exit the cave, then go on any spot of water where you would find wild Pokémon.

This is where it gets interesting. As the battle starts, instead of.... that one guy's sprite, it will be a clone of you. You should encounter a wild ISB, and the clone of you will send out one too. Don't believe me? Try. Also, I may put up a video soon. It wouldn't go away! This is true, I swear(As in vow not that kind of swearing). I eventually deleted the account.
Capital 'S' Or Not?
Which is it? Since ISB isn't the Pokémon's real name, it isn't defined. I would argue a capital S, but the shortlink for 'shiny' automaticaly makes it lowercase. LordArceus 19:07, 22 November 2008 (UTC)
:No capital. It's not a proper adjective, nor is "invisible". It's known as "invisible shiny Bulbasaur" because there's no sprite (#000: blank data), it gives the shiny "pa-cha-ching!", and its cry is that of Bulbasaur (drawing from the default cry much as Missingno. did). <span style="color:#FF0000">TTE</span>chidna 03:53, 3 January 2009 (UTC)

Invisible shiny Bulbasaur is a glitch Pokémon found in Diamond. It is usually encountered with the use of an Action Replay. Generally, it is found when using a "walk through walls" code or a similar cheat. Invisible shiny Bulbasaur is often found in Oreburgh Mine, Victory Road, or a wild double battle triggered by a "walk over water" cheat code. The name "Invisible shiny Bulbasaur" is derived from the fact that at the start of a battle it sparkles like a shiny Pokémon and Bulbasaur's cry is heard, suggesting that it is a shiny Bulbasaur.

Invisible shiny Bulbasaur always appears at Level 0 with 0/0 HP, similar to ?????????? in Generation III. Its name appears as "dl dl..." appearing several times; a message displaying its name will have a glitched transition into the next message. It does not appear to have any usable attacks &mdash; in double battles, the only attack it can use is Struggle. It is apparently invisible, although it may have a sprite resembling -----'s (when it uses Struggle in a double battle, or when its animation occurs when it enters battle, the bottom of a sprite resembling -----'s is visible at the top of the screen).

If the player attempts to attack it, the game will assume there is no target and end the battle immediately. Sometimes, it cannot be directly attacked at all and the player must use an attack that affects both enemies. When selecting an enemy to attack, the button on the touch screen representing the Invisible shiny Bulbasaur has no sprite or name. An Invisible shiny Bulbasaur's shadow cannot be seen under it. Instead, the shadow is found beside the real Pokémon.

Encountering Invisible shiny Bulbasaur
By using the walk through walls code to walk over water, the player can trigger a wild double battle with an Invisible shiny Bulbasaur and a real Pokémon. The game, thinking that the player is traveling with a partner, will display two of the player's back sprite, one being the player and the "clone" being the nonexistent partner. The partner, whose name is either nothing more than a blank space or the player's name (saying "Pokémon Trainer ___ sent out..."), will send out a -----. If the ----- faints, the Invisible shiny Bulbasaur will consequently faint as well. If the player does not run, then after both real Pokémon have taken their turns, one of the glitches will attack the other with Struggle, causing both to faint (one from damage, the other from recoil).

Another way to encounter Invisible shiny Bulbasaur is by using the "walk through walls" cheat to leave Amity Square. Because of the walking Pokémon in Amity Square, the game will assume that the player is traveling with a partner, even after leaving. When entering a battle with a wild Pokémon after leaving Amity Square, the last trainer the player partnered with will appear beside the player, but they will use either an Invisible shiny Bulbasaur or a -----. The battle will be against one real wild Pokémon and an Invisible shiny Bulbasaur.

It is also possible to obtain Invisible shiny Bulbasaur by using the instant egg code when two Pokémon are not in the daycare and then using the hatch eggs fast code to hatch an otherwise unhatchable egg. However, this often results in freezing the game.

The final way to encounter it is by using the Action Replay "Pokémon Modifier Code". When using the mod code, the player would normally type in the National Pokédex number of the Pokémon the player wants to encounter and press L. Then when he/she walks into grass, that Pokémon appears. To get Invisible shiny Bulbasaur the player would type in number "0" and then press L. An Invisible shiny Bulbasaur appears.

In some rare cases, an Action Replay code input wrongly may cause a permanent roaming Invisible shiny Bulbasaur to appear.

Interestingly, in a wild double battle, Invisible shiny Bulbasaur copies its partner's Speed stat and replaces all participating Pokémon's cries (including -----'s) with a Bulbasaur's cry. After each attack animation, its HP counter disappears.

Invisible shiny Bulbasaur is essentially a Null (computer programming), which happens when an empty space in the party is called to battle, which is why the game doesn't read it as a real target.
