two things:
1. As stated somewhere on Kenji Girl's talk page, the "do not play by ear" thing refers to episodes done by TPCI under Duart (post dp053) and not the 4kids dub as there is no definate way to find out who did the voice. don't believe me? ask KG, she said it herself.
and 2. Annie read the credits and we saw Rebecca Honig in the credits. If i was playing it totally by ear, then I would have put Emily Robbison as the voice of [[Claire]] but i didn't as ods are she hasen't voiced too many characters in the series minus Max's Ralts (not the telepathy, but the RAAALTS!) either way though, the best chance you have of proving me wrong is not the fact that there's little data online about it, but rather your best chance would be to somehow contact Honig or Robison to find out either.

I even have a Pikachu from Barnes & Noble that I've used as a teddy bear lately. He comforts me. He has been my comfort item. Like a blanket you see cartoon kids snuggling with. It matters. This place...it means a lot. I want to show that I'm not here to be a @$$hole and crush the s**t outta' this place.Half the stuff I've put up with is something most '''adults''' don't even come across. After praising her, he recalls the goals of the past villainous groups, Team Rocket and the Elite Four, and reveals that his goal is to have complete control of time. As Kurt pretends to not know how the control of time is possible, the Masked Man grabs his granddaughter and holds her in a threatening matter as he surreptitiously steals Kurt's manual, which has data on all types of special Poké Balls.

After he finds the information on the Ball that can surpass time, Kurt mocks him, saying that the manual is worthless without the ingredients for the Poké Ball. The Masked Man then states that he already knows what the ingredients are, and, as he refers to the wings of Ho-Oh and Lugia, his Delibird {{m|Thief|steals}} the {{DL|Legendary artifacts|Rainbow Wing}} and the {{DL|Legendary artifacts|Silver Wing}} from the legendary Pokémon and gives them to his Trainer. While he states that he will finally gain control of time, Gold grows angry over the prospect that Pokémon were being used just as ingredients and materials to the Mask. He then demands what Pokémon are to the Masked Man and gets the response that they are mere weapons.

The Mask then loses his patience with the conversation and attempts to attack both Gold and Crys, but, as Gold pushes her out of the way, Crys is unharmed while Gold takes the whole of the hit. Crys then begs the Mask to stop but is shrugged off as he flies away. As Gold gets up from the attack he had absorbed, he privately vows to not give up until the Masked Man is defeated.

The chapter closes with the Masked Man flying on his Delibird towards Ilex Forest, stating that he has finally obtained a "second chance at time."

Back at [[Indigo Plateau]], the remaining Gym Leaders are shocked at the revelation of Pryce's villainy. [[Morty]], picking up Pryce's abandoned staff, opens it up to reveal a high-tech device that comprises a transceiver and monitor which displays [[Tin Tower]]. Morty realises that when everyone witnessed the Masked Man [[PS163|earlier]] while all the Gym Leaders were present, it was actually a remote-controlled dummy manipulated by the staff which Pryce could also monitor through the staff's viewing screen. Whitney adds to the explanation by pointing out Pryce's habit of tapping his staff on the ground; the series of tapping was actually a code that transmitted vocal orders to the dummy, allowing Pryce to control his Pokémon from afar.

Gold is forced to drop his billiard cue at Pryce's threat, allowing the latter to attack him while he completes the GS Ball. Gold is unable to fight back due to protecting Pika and Chuchu's egg, allowing Pryce to escape into time with the GS Ball. Gold is reunited with [[Wilton]] and the Daycare Couple, having escaped from the Team Rocket grunts, who hand him a letter from [[Professor Oak]]. Elsewhere in the stadium, the Johto Gym Leaders are taken by surprise as Pryce's ice torso begins to reform itself and attack, but before it can attack Whitney, [[DJ Mary]]'s {{p|Smeargle}} melts it with fire. Mary explains that Smeargle had used {{m|Sketch}} while watching Entei's attacks; Morty observes that Sketch not only copied the attack, but also Entei's unique characteristic of being able to melt Pryce's ice.

Amongst the ruined parts of the stadium, the director of Goldenrod Radio rescues {{adv|Bill}} and [[Daisy Oak]] from wreckage, before discovering the undamaged fax machine in the room and a huge amount of letters sent in by concerned listeners. The man realises that transmission was never cut during Pryce's attack, and is moved to tears by the Trainers' willingness to help from all over the [[Johto]] and [[Kanto]] regions. However, no one is able to send in their Pokémon due to the Transfer system breakdown. At the same time, Bill recalls his own frustration in attempting to fix the system; nothing was wrong with the hardware or readings when he investigated, so there shouldn't have been a problem at all. Suddenly, he has an epiphany and rushes out of the room.
