It's much more likely they are saying "Getis", the characters name, than "Penance", something Getis is not showing at all (I mean, even after you beat him he still acts like he was doing the right thing, defiantly not showing penance at all), or the english name "Dennis", and a weird way of say the name as well (The "is" is not as stressed in the name dennis, as it is in the song, while Getis would have that stressed that way). Geechisu first appears in [[Karakusa Town]] trying to rally its citizens. After that, he appears at several points in the game trying to warn the citizens of the oncoming change. He later appears at the castle during his son [[N]]'s takeover and unwillingly lets the player battle N. After the player defeats N, he reveals he has been using N and revived {{p|Zekrom}}/{{p|Reshiram}} for N to use, and calls N a disappointment. He reveals that his and Team Plasma's motive for stealing Pokémon was a lie all along and that Geechisu wanted to ensure that he was the only person in Isshu with Pokémon, so he could dominate the region. [[Adeku]] and [[Cheren]] both hear this. Geechisu battles the player in a rage, despite N's protest. After the battle, Adeku and Cheren arrest Geechisu and take him away. He is not seen again.

When the player meets the [[Dark Trinity]] for the final time, it is revealed that they rescued Geechisu from captivity and that he is currently on the run. He has lost everything, and only the Dark Trinity are still loyal to him.

There are eight different subways for the player to choose from, seven of which can be battled in. I'm going to suggest that we move this page to 'mother', which seems to be a more logical name for the player's mother anyway. I think it's best to bring it up here, where the issue would be relevant, than elsewhere. We all know Gyarados is Water/Flying, and that Dragon was a type in Generation I. However, I read somewhere (I forget where exactly) that there were only 13 types in the original Red and Green, and that Ice and Dragon were added in Blue. Of course, I theorize that any Ice Pokémon were Water, since that's what they use in the TCG, and that any Dragon Pokémon were Normal. Since the Base Set came out only ten days after Blue was released in Japan, it would make some sense.

After all, look at how many Pokémon from Gen I are Ice only. None. There are several Water/Ice (which I think was because the type was added as an afterthought), and Articuno's the only one where missing the Ice-type would really matter (since there's NEVER a pure Flying-type). Heck, if Articuno was originally Water/Flying (which I suspect), both the beasts and birds would be the same types. The Dratini family were the only Dragon-types, so they could have used Normal instead.

But I do suppose that they wanted Gyarados to have at least something different from Magikarp in Red/Green (if the "Ice and Dragon came later" story is true), so they gave it the Flying-type as its secondary type, and just never changed it because it would alter a lot (and maybe because Kingdra was already in the works). As for why Magnemite and Magneton got Steel? Eh, they're magnet-based. If they didn't get the Steel-type when it was introduced people would be thinking "wow, that was dumb". And they needed to give Jasmine more than just Steelix. Sure, there'd be Skarmory, Forretress, and Scizor otherwise, but jeez. Two are Bug, and one of those is evolved from something Bugsy has, and Skarmory's known to have been a good choice for a long time; they can't make the Gyms too hard.

I think its inaccurate to say they never learn any Flying moves, I'm pretty sure I recall using my Gyarados for Fly in the original Red back in the day. Also, while the entire arguement is stupid because none of us had anything to do with actually making the game or Gyarados, it is my opinion that it is not Dragon type because it would be fairly unbalancing. Gyarados is an incredibly powerful Pokemon and has been in my main line up in every game, it is also very easy to get, get a Magikarp and level it up, on the other hand I recall spending quite alot of time trying to catch a Dratini in the Safari Zone, that was around level 15 as I recall, and then I had to level it up alot to even make it useful to me. Even a Dragonair's stat's are pitiful compared to a Gyarados, training up 40 levels just to make something useful to me when I could be training things already useful is annoying. I noticed that Gear/Giaru is the the only Pokemon consisting of two seperate entities. A couple of other Pokemon have had two heads/minds before, but were always connected by some physical bond. Can we add this fact in, or do we have to see the rest of Gen. 5? {{unsigned|Element03}}

If it wares the skull helmet of its dead mother, then if its mother is a Marowak someone (in the Pokémon word)surly must have seen a Cubone wearing a Marowak helmet unless they evolve straight to a Marowak.

If it wears the skull out of its dead mother's head, then the inner skull of a Cubone and/or Marowak must be shaped like the Skull helmet of a Cubone. That mean that even if the Cubone evolves, the helmet has only changed in the evolution and the skull in its head is still the shape of a Cubone Helmet.

::Since Marowak is the Bone Keeper pokemon, I'd guess it probably holds onto the skull it wore as a Cubone somehow which gets passed down like an heirloom from mother to child or something. The mother Marowak may not ever actually WEAR her old skull anymore so much as just keep it...somewhere on her person and that boney-looking head is actually just that, the head since we've seen it move its' lower jaw when Marowak appear in the anime and it seems to be part of the upper gray head, unlike Cubone who has a separate-looking brown lower jaw.
