In AG094 (The Relicanth Really Can), Ash and Co. meet a guy named Adam who is a deep-sea treasure-hunter. He came across a Relicanth that had a string of green shards attached to it. Given the fact that the Green Shards were used in jewellery in ancient times, that they were found at sea (along with a chest full of them), and that Relicanth are also said to be ancient pokemon, could the Green Shards be connected to the People of the Water, who are also said to have lived in antiquity?
