Jessie's Dustox (Japanese: ムサシのドクケイル Musashi's Dokucale) was the second Pokémon caught by Jessie of Team Rocket during her travels through Hoenn. Dustox evolved from Cascoon and before that, Wurmple. Its voice actress in Japanese was 西村ちなみ Chinami Nishimura (Rikako Aikawa during her leave), and its English voice actresses are Amy Birnbaum (4Kids dub) and Michele Knotz (PUSA dub).

Jessie caught Wurmple in the episode All in a Day's Wurmple, as did May. Several episodes later, in Which Wurmple's Which?, both Wurmple were temporarily switched, but were returned to their proper Trainers by the episode's end. In the episode A Corphish Out of Water, Jessie's Wurmple evolved into Cascoon while May's evolved into Silcoon; Jessie believed hers was a Silcoon as well. Four episodes later, in Seeing is Believing, Jessie's Cascoon evolved into Dustox, soon after May's Silcoon evolved into May. While Jessie was at first disappointed that she did not have a Beautifly, she soon came to adore her new Dustox (in the Japanese version, she called it Dokucale-chan on more than one occasion). In the English dub, Jessie has called it Dustox-Dear, and when she throws its Poké Ball, she has also called it "my dear Dustox".

Dustox was Jessie's primary Contest Pokémon. It was used in the episodes Come What May and Disguise Da Limit. Jessie attempted to enter it in the Rubello Town Contest in A Fan with a Plan, but Jessie did not have a previously obtained Ribbon needed for entry.

Dustox was also Jessie's secondary battling Pokémon. It was usually used alongside Jessie, but it had also been used alone. It appeared to be fairly powerful, but as Team Rocket are the villains, it was usually defeated.

In the episode That's Just Swellow, James used Dustox as his Pokémon in a PokéRinger competition. Dustox defeated May's Beautifly in the competition, but it eventually succumbed to a last-minute defeat when Ash's Taillow evolved into a Swellow.

Using Dustox, Jessie was finally able to win a ribbon in the Solaceon Town Contest in Team Shocker!. Ever since, Dustox has been wearing Jessie's hair-ribbons that she wore in that contest, and is probably still wearing it, to remember Jessie by (see below).

In Crossing Paths, during the Dustox Crossing, Jessie tearfully told Dustox to go with the others, but, since it was loyal, it didn't want to. Jessie had to shatter Dustox's Poké Ball to let it go. Dustox then went to live with other Dustox and start a family.

In Our Cup Runneth Over!, Jessie said she would dedicate her Wallace Cup performance to Dustox, in its memory.

Trivia
* Dustox was shown to be stronger than James's Cacnea and Team Rocket's Meowth as a Cascoon, being able to beat them both in a legitimate battle in Seeing is Believing!
* In Crossing Paths, Dustox is seen wearing yellow ribbons on its antennas which may mean that it is female.
* Jessie's Dustox had a more high-pitched voice than Austin's Dustox. This may imply that Jessie's Dustox is female, while Austin's Dustox is male.
* Dustox was released in a similar fashion to another Bug-type Pokémon with a similar evolutionary line. Also like Ash's Butterfree, it chose a mate of an alternate coloration. Both were also both released in the 21st episode of a season. It was also given a yellow accessory before it was released.
* Dustox is in the Sinnoh Dex. This marks the second time that a Pokémon not from the current generation was released from a main character's care despite being in the current regional Pokédex, after James's Weezing, which is in the Hoenn Dex.
* Once her Cascoon evolved into a Dustox, Jessie's team didn't change for over 250 episodes until she released Dustox, not counting temporary changes.
* The yellow ribbons Dustox wears in this episode are similar to the ones Jessie wears when she is disguised as Jessalina when competing in contests.
