Mahogany is a quiet, relaxing town. There is a shop used by [[Team Rocket]] as a base in [[Pokémon Gold and Silver|Pokémon Gold, Silver]] and [[Pokémon Crystal]]. After Team Rocket is defeated, it is converted into a store run by a little old lady.

To the north of the city is the popular [[Lake of Rage]].

There are three exits out of town. West is [[Route 42]], east is [[Route 44]], and north is [[Route 43]].

===Burned Tower===

The Brass Tower, with gleaming [[Pokémon Gold|gold-colored]] panels, was, according to legend, the perch of {{p|Ho-oh}}. Once as majestic as the [[Pokémon Silver|silver-colored]] Tin Tower, the Brass Tower was burned to the ground after a war broke out. [[Jasmine]] will ask that the main character of [[Generation II]] fetch [[Amphy|her Ampharos]] some medicine from there, and the [[Secret Medicine]] that [[Cynthia]] gives the main character of [[Generation IV]] is from there as well.

After giving Jasmine the medicine, you can return to the Pharmacy and Potions and Full Heals would be in stock. However, this Pharmacy replaces the Mart, so players cannot buy Poke balls in the area.
