'''Lindsay''' (Japanese: '''リンジー''' ''Lindsay'') is one of the [[characters of the day]] in ''[[XY024|An Undersea Place to Call Home]]''. She is an Underwater Archeologist along with her husband [[Eddie]].

She first appeared sitting in a car driven by Eddie, driving along the road of {{rt|8|Kalos|Muraille Coast}}. They stopped when they spotted {{Ash}} and {{ashfr}}, who were in panic as [[Ash's Pikachu]] had just been {{status|poison|poisoned}} by a {{p|Skrelp}}. Lindsay immediately offered help, looking for a first-aid-kit. She treated Pikachu and he quickly got better. She and Eddie then introduced themselves to the group. They explained they were going to dive in a specific area in the sea that same day, looking for the remains of a ship that crashed into an iceberg long ago. As Ash and his friends got very excited about what they were told, Lindsay and Eddie agreed to let them help on their exploration.

She was later accompanied by Ash and {{an|Serena}} in her submarine. They were quickly swept away by some strong currents, however. In the process, they found the remains of the sunken ship. However, they also discovered {{TRT}} was also investigating the ship. They entered the ship and confronted Team Rocket. Team Rocket managed to escape with the ship's treasure however, and while doing so they caused the remains of the sunken ship to sink away completely. Lindsay, Ash and Serena managed to escape in time, and told the Pokémon living around to ship to help in stopping the ship from sinking away. When that plan succeeded, Lindsay was told by Eddie to come back to the surface as the strong currents would appear again soon.

I will resume lurking and the occasional spelling/grammar edit, then, if that's okay with you. As I come from a large wiki, where we have our own little cliques, seeing a new person being bold tends to ruffle a lot of feathers, and I haven't really seen a "be bold" policy here. Thus, since there is none, then I will stop being bold and resume the occasional maintenance edit.

The confusion resulted from the userpage being displayed and basically a message asking for edits. I supplied what information I could, section by section, as opening a very large page in its entirety is very confusing. It is much easier to keep track of what's done by working by section, and that is where Preview doesn't help (which I used every single edit, including this one).

I admit that I didn't see the in-use tag when I started. However, when it was asked on the Pokémon-Amie talk page for edits, and I felt I should add what I could, then the message was mixed. The task would have been very simple; if a page is not public yet, don't display it.

Have you seen Hoopa and Volcanion as well? I was thinking we should create sandboxes for them too. I would do it myself, but unfortunately I have no idea how those templates work.

From what I've gathered, Volcanion is Fire/Water type, and Hoopa is Psychic/Ghost. Both are called Mirage Cave, Any Pokémon Caught in a Mirage Cave will say so in their location met data. Lady Ariel has suggested that the MD version be called Mirage Cave (Mystery Dungeon) and the ORAS version called Mirage Cave (Hoenn)
This also affects the Mirage Island Article (although not as much) but also affects the Mirage Forest article (which redirects to a TCG article for some Region I only heard of today since I never played the TCG)

Until those articles can be made, and Mirage Cave (Mystery Dungeon), Mirage Forest (TGC) and Mirage Island (Gen III) made separate, I have temporarily put some of the info for the Mirage Islands on the Mirage Island article.

This is still all new, so it'll take some time to figure out how to sort the info. I'll disclose that I also [[User_talk:SnorlaxMonster#Help_Requested_.28Templates.29|also asked SnorlaxMonster about this]], but just in case he doesn't know himself wanted to ask someone else too.

As that link says, I am basically adding new Egg Moves for Minun (and eventually Plusle as well), but I am not sure how to tag that the Egg Moves are in OR/AS only; in this case, Charm and Fake Tears are showing up IN THE FIELD as Egg Moves replacing the first move on both species, and though I haven't reached the breeder yet, the fact that they are showing up via the new mechanic confirms that they are Egg Moves themselves. I haven't done the breeding research to see who else can pass down the move, but for now Plusle and Minun themselves are the only mates I've labeled. (I also succeeded in finding a Lv.16 Plusle earlier, via DexNav, that turned out to know Charm itself; I've made edits to DexNav exclusive for single (non-horde) encounters for this reason.)

So my attempts to add the OR/AS tag were futile, I'm guessing because the tags were never created for the breed5 template. I have done research and found, for instance, Munchlax has a "HG/SS" tag on its [[Munchlax_%28Pok%C3%A9mon%29/Generation_IV_learnset#By_breeding|Gen IV breeding set]] and recalled Cinccino being unable to learn Thief via TM in B/W (corrected in B2/W2, thus the tag [[Cinccino_(Pokémon)/Generation_V_learnset#By_TM.2FHM|here]] next to the move in question), but looking at the code, I find it doesn't work for the breed5 template, suggesting the code doesn't exist for those tags there. This suspicion is confirmed when I see the following in the second "style" line on the template (converted as displayed, not in code form which you'd see in edit mode):

This needs to be updated to have an X/Y and OR/AS tag as I am sure there are other Egg Moves that are exclusive to OR/AS. Later, while searching for Mewtwo, he found [[Virgil]] speaking to {{un|Anna}} and {{un|Oscar}}, two local residents who recounted their encounter with a mysterious Pokémon that saved them.

Suspecting it to be Mewtwo, Dirk feigned a broken arm and approached them, claiming to have also been saved by the Pokémon, who was grievously wounded at the time. He revealed Mewtwo's identity to them and explained that it was a Pokémon artificially created by humans and distrusted humanity after the experiments it was subjected to. Virgil decided to search for Mewtwo to help it, so Dirk, Anna and Oscar followed him. However, Dirk soon split off from the group and sent cameras after them, monitoring their movements on his wrist device.

When Mewtwo was found, Dirk deployed machines to capture it and sent out his Pokémon to weaken it. However, Mewtwo fought back by transforming into its awakened form, which caught Dirk off guard and forced him to use the machines to injure Mewtwo further. It fought back again, however, defeating Dirk's Pokémon but causing a forest fire in the process. While Virgil tried to fight the fire, Dirk launched a final attack against Mewtwo, but by transforming again, Mewtwo managed to destroy all of his machines, in the process causing Dirk to drop all of his [[Poké Ball]]s.

After putting out the fire by moving the lake's water with its {{m|Psychic}}, Mewtwo destroyed the Poké Balls before Dirk could recall his Pokémon, freeing them from his control. He was defeated by Virgil's {{p|Espeon}} and {{p|Umbreon}}, who used {{m|Psychic}} to capture him by suspending him in the air.

She and the other members, but especially Heidi, initially disliked grown-ups, stating they are all liars. This was because she, Jay, and Kye once found an abandoned {{p|Eevee}}. They cared for it, but were caught by a teacher. The teacher promised them nothing would happen as long as they were being honest about what they hid, but when they told, the teacher took the Eevee away from them. Later, after a thunderstorm had happened, she, Jay, and Kye found traces of something dragging itself through the forest. They followed them and arrived at a lake. There, Lapras appeared in front of them. Although it appeared scared at first, the children quickly gained its trust. They found out it was hurt, and promised it to heal and protect it from grown-ups.

In the present day she appeared with Jay and Kye in front of {{an|Bonnie}}, who was taking a stroll through a forest. She started an argument with Bonnie, claiming the forest was their property and labeled her as arrogant. However, after Bonnie showed her [[Clemont's Dedenne]], Heidi became a little more friendly to her, as she was amazed by how Bonnie took care of a Pokémon at such a young age. Although she, Jay, and Kye did not want anyone to know about Lapras because of [[Pokémon poacher]]s potentially going after it, they inadvertently told about Bonnie about it when they introduced themselves as the Lapras Defense Force. When Bonnie heard Lapras's cry, they decided to introduce her to it.

Heidi, Jay, and Kye played with Lapras, until it started to rain and they brought it into a cave. After the rain stopped, the children discovered Lapras's body was hot and it was feeling sick. Jay suggested to get someone to help Lapras, but Heidi immediately turned this idea down, because of her dislike of grown-ups. They were then found by {{Ash}}, {{an|Clemont}}, and {{an|Serena}}, who had gone to look for Bonnie. Clemont treated Lapras and found out it had a high fever, suggesting they should get a [[Nurse Joy]] to help it recover. However, Heidi still refused to show Lapras to any grown-up. Ash then warned them that Lapras might die if it wouldn't receive proper treatment soon. This caused Heidi, Jay, and Kye to burst out in tears and decide to call in Nurse Joy.

Nurse Joy quickly made Lapras feel better, causing Heidi, Jay, and Kye to burst out in happiness. Nurse Joy also informed the children that the Eevee their teacher had taken away from then had been brought back safely to its owner, as the teacher had simply brought it to Nurse Joy. Fennekin has been shown to take after its Trainer. In ''[[XY005|A Blustery Santalune Gym Battle!]]'', it mimicked Serena when she stretched out. Fennekin takes pride in its appearance, and becomes upset when its fur or tail become mussed or dirty. In ''[[XY011|The Bamboozling Forest!]]'', it thanked {{AP|Froakie}} for cleaning its tail with the Frubbles on the {{type|Water}}'s back, and in [[XY021]], it hesitated to escape from {{TRT}} because of a muddy puddle that blocked its path. It changed its mind once it saw its trainer start running across the puddle to its side.

Fennekin is shown to have a bit of a temper, and gets angry quickly without really thinking twice, as shown in [[XY021]], when Fennekin continuously tried to hit {{AP|Pikachu}} with its {{m|Ember}} attack. It was also shown to be easily jealous in XY021 as well, becoming jealous of [[Elle]]'s Fennekin's performance on PokéVision, and when Ash complimented the performance.

However, when Oscar was about to pull her back up, the three fell and were about to meet their end, until {{OBP|Mewtwo|Best Wishes series}} arrived and {{m|Psychic|lifted}} them back up. When Virgil arrived at their house to make an emergency landing with his helicopter, Anna told him the story about Mewtwo.

Later, she, Oscar, Virgil and a mysterious man named [[Dirk]], who had also encountered Mewtwo, went to the mountains to find Mewtwo. They eventually found it and discovered Dirk had plans of capturing Mewtwo. Together they thwarted his plans, however.

Dirk is a mercenary hired by [[Mewtwo's creators]] to track down {{OBP|Mewtwo|Best Wishes series}} after it escaped from their custody.

At the beginning of the episode, he had tracked Mewtwo down and attacked it with his {{p|Escavalier}} and {{p|Tyranitar}}, but he only managed to injure it before it escaped from him. Later, while searching for Mewtwo, he found [[Virgil]] speaking to {{un|Anna}} and {{un|Oscar}}, two local residents who recounted their encounter with a mysterious Pokémon that saved them.

Suspecting it to be Mewtwo, Dirk feigned a broken arm and approached them, claiming to have also been saved by the Pokémon, who was grievously wounded at the time. He revealed Mewtwo's identity to them and explained that it was a Pokémon artificially created by humans and distrusted humanity after the experiments it was subjected to. Virgil decided to search for Mewtwo to help it, so Dirk, Anna and Oscar followed him. However, Dirk soon split off from the group and sent cameras after them, monitoring their movements on his wrist device.

When Mewtwo was found, Dirk deployed machines to capture it and sent out his Pokémon to weaken it. However, Mewtwo fought back by transforming into its awakened form, which caught Dirk off guard and forced him to use the machines to injure Mewtwo further. It fought back again, however, defeating Dirk's Pokémon but causing a forest fire in the process. While Virgil tried to fight the fire, Dirk launched a final attack against Mewtwo, but by transforming again, Mewtwo managed to destroy all of his machines, in the process causing Dirk to drop all of his [[Poké Ball]]s.

After putting out the fire by moving the lake's water with its {{m|Psychic}}, Mewtwo destroyed the Poké Balls before Dirk could recall his Pokémon, freeing them from his control. He was defeated by Virgil's {{p|Espeon}} and {{p|Umbreon}}, who used {{m|Psychic}} to capture him by suspending him in the air.

Dirk is shown to be crafty and ruthless in his work as a Pokémon Hunter. He does not believe that misleading Virgil, Anna and Oscar about his intentions is lying to them, but instead simply omitting details about himself. However, he is also cowardly when he realizes his defeat, begging Mewtwo in vain for forgiveness and blaming Mewtwo's creators for his actions.

However, he refused to battle Ash at the time because he had to check out a mine at the edge of town. Ash would try to battle Clay again in ''[[BW059|Stopping the Rage of Legends! (Part 1)]]'' but he refused yet again. He claimed that he could not have a battle with him if he did not have any {{DL|Herbal medicine|Revival Herb}}s. When Ash asked what they were, Clay criticized him for not knowing and said that he probably wouldn't be worth battling. However, he did promise a battle if he brought him some Revival Herbs.

Clay makes his first appearance reporting the discovery of a {{DL|Legendary artifacts|Dark Stone|mysterious stone}} he found at [[Twist Mountain]] to [[Lenora]] after her Gym battle with {{adv|Black}}. It is shown that his Pokémon are guarding the mysterious stone while the [[Shadow Triad]] spy on them from afar. Later, Clay goes to the Driftveil Drawbridge to fix it after it breaks, preventing anyone from crossing it. It was revealed that the cause of the malfunction was a {{p|Zorua}} that {{adv|Black}} had met in Castelia.

Sometime later, Clay faces Black in a Gym battle and is defeated by Black's newly-captured {{p|Tirtouga}}. Later, they go through the Chargestone Cave and arrive in Mistralton City. They go to the [[Celestial Tower]] to meet up with the other Unova Gym Leaders.

After meeting up with the other Gym Leaders, Clay and his allies leave to [[Nacrene City]] to protect the Dark Stone from being stolen by the Shadow Triad. Despite their teamwork, Clay and the other Gym Leaders are defeated by the Shadow Triad's trump card, the [[Kami trio]].

Clay appears in {{game|Black and White|s}} as the [[Gym Leader]] of [[Driftveil City]]'s Gym. This Gym will be the fifth to be challenged by the player. Trainers who defeat Clay will receive the Quake Badge. Shortly after, he appears on {{rt|6|Unova}} to aid the player in removing the {{p|Galvantula}} web blocking the entrance to the [[Chargestone Cave]]. After his {{p|Krokorok}} removes the web, he gives {{TM|78|Bulldoze}} to the player. He also reappears again at [[N's Castle]] where he and the other [[Unova]] Gym Leaders hold off the [[Seven Sages]].

When the player is cornered by the Seven Sages, Clay is the first of the Unova Gym Leaders to march in. He asks the player if he is tired out yet, then the rest of the Unova Gym Leaders, with the exception of Cilan, Chili and Cress, walk in and take positions opposite each sage in pairs. Drayden then tells the player to proceed in pursuit of N.

Once the player gains access to the Driftveil Gym, Clay will be standing outside of the Gym, opposite [[Ghetsis]] and some {{tc|Team Plasma Grunt}}s. Ghetsis refers to Clay as the "Miner King".

When the player encounters the Driftveil Gym Leader inside of Twist Mountain on his/her first visit after obtaining the Mistralton Gym Badge, he will say that Twist Mountain belongs to him, and that the player and Cheren can train on it should they wish to do so.

One of the Trainers the player can battle inside the Driftveil Gym says that Clay is a company president. However, it is not known what business Clay actually owns. Another Trainer that can be battled inside the Driftveil Gym says that Clay stays at the bottom of the Gym to remind himself that he once had nothing. A backpacker inside the [[Nacrene City]] Pokémon Center says that Clay found fossils on [[Twist Mountain]] and donated them to the [[Nacrene Gym|Nacrene City Museum]].

Clay made his first appearance in ''[[BW057|The Mighty Accelguard to the Rescue!]]''. {{Ash}} and {{ashfr}} met him right after they had arrived at [[Driftveil City]], and Ash asked him for a battle. However, he refused to battle Ash at the time because he had to check out a mine at the edge of town. Ash would try to battle Clay again in ''[[BW059|Stopping the Rage of Legends! (Part 1)]]'' but he refused yet again. He claimed that he could not have a battle with him if he did not have any {{DL|Herbal medicine|Revival Herb}}s. When Ash asked what they were, Clay criticized him for not knowing and said that he probably wouldn't be worth battling. However, he did promise a battle if he brought him some Revival Herbs.

After Ash obtained the herbs in ''[[BW060|Stopping the Rage of Legends! (Part 2)]]'', he immediately went to Clay in [[BW061|the next episode]]. He was surprised that Ash was able to get the herbs and finally accepted his challenge. Ash managed to defeat Clay and he gave him the {{badge|Quake}}.

Clay makes his first appearance reporting the discovery of a {{DL|Legendary artifacts|Dark Stone|mysterious stone}} he found at [[Twist Mountain]] to [[Lenora]] after her Gym battle with {{adv|Black}}. It is shown that his Pokémon are guarding the mysterious stone while the [[Shadow Triad]] spy on them from afar. Later, Clay goes to the Driftveil Drawbridge to fix it after it breaks, preventing anyone from crossing it. It was revealed that the cause of the malfunction was a {{p|Zorua}} that {{adv|Black}} had met in Castelia.

Sometime later, Clay faces Black in a Gym battle and is defeated by Black's newly-captured {{p|Tirtouga}}. Later, they go through the Chargestone Cave and arrive in Mistralton City. They go to the [[Celestial Tower]] to meet up with the other Unova Gym Leaders.

After meeting up with the other Gym Leaders, Clay and his allies leave to [[Nacrene City]] to protect the Dark Stone from being stolen by the Shadow Triad. Despite their teamwork, Clay and the other Gym Leaders are defeated by the Shadow Triad's trump card, the [[Kami trio]].
