Aside from the sound of water flowing, other sounds include the sound of the windmill when standing next to a windmill in New Bark Town and even just the sound of the player's walking on tall and short grass if you listen carefully.

Until more details on this matter are acquired by someone who has a copy of HeartGold or SoulSilver then it should not be posted on this site to avoid misinformation. They're still in the actual game coding as an in-world sprite that's interactable, and you can battle and catch them.
