it is believed on Pokewiki that the 2nd part of the name comes from Kieme (german for gill) but I cant edit this page so can someone do this for me?

also why not possibly moderated edits (prople do edits but they are hidden by default and have to be checked by mods/admins (that's how I see how a lot of forums and stuff work, os that possible here?)
Tapu Fini's Fish Motif
I think Tapu Fini's motif comes probably from the Marlin species of fish which are common in the Hawaii region.—Naui (talk) 20:56, 27 October 2016 (UTC)

Wow, another two-word-named Pokémon...
And one of four Pokémon to have "Tapu" in its name. This should be added in the trivia. - <font face="Verdana">LDEJRuff</font> 15:21, 27 October 2016 (UTC)
:If something is not unique it is not suitable as trivia. Especially when these four Pokemon are very explicitly related; it's really not surprising if they have similar names. They've kind of always done this, in fact, the clearest example being the Regis. :Those are much less relevant to Tapu Lele by comparison. Tiddlywinks (talk) 18:21, 27 October 2016 (UTC)
Squid basis
Is it possible parts of Tapu Lele's design could be based off of a squid? It has tentacle like hair under a cone shaped hat, as well as having two longer hair strands like a squids longer tentacles. ZiggyAngelo8
:Current signs point strongly to a butterfly. If anything else turns up that also supports a squid or something, that can be considered. Tiddlywinks (talk) 19:11, 27 October 2016 (UTC)
