He steals the first from Treeshroud Forest without resistance, then steals the Time Gear of [[Fogbound Lake]], defeating {{p|Uxie}} and the fake {{p|Groudon}}. Next, he steals the Time Gear guarded by {{p|Mesprit}}, who was weakened by attacking the [[player]] and his/her partner. Next, he defeats {{p|Azelf}} intending to steal his Time Gear, but Azelf covers the lake in crystal to prevent him from getting it. The player's team confronts Grovyle, but despite their best efforts, they are defeated by him. He nearly kills the player's partner, but {{OBP|Dusknoir|Mystery Dungeon 2 character}}, a famous explorer from the future who is trying to stop Grovyle as well, chases him off. Dusknoir finally captures him, but before taking Grovyle back to the future, he takes the player and partner with him. There, Dusknoir has his {{p|Sableye}} attempt to execute the player, their partner, and Grovyle. Thanks to Grovyle's quick thinking, they escape. The three find a {{shiny2}} {{OBP|Celebi|Mystery Dungeon 2 character}}, who Grovyle used to travel into the past in the first place, so the trio can return to the past. However, Dusknoir, his Sableye, and Dusknoir's master, [[Primal Dialga]] arrive to stop them. It is then that Grovyle learns that the player is in fact, the human partner he traveled back in time with.

Back in the past, Grovyle reveals that he and the player (as a human) were trying to solve the mystery of the paralyzed planet. After traveling to the past, the player and Grovyle got separated, with the player losing memory and turning into a Pokémon, and Grovyle attempting to find the Time Gears. Recovering the Time Gears was meant to stop [[Temporal Tower]] from collapsing, sending Dialga into a primal rage, and paralyzing the planet. Grovyle, the player, and the partner recover the Time Gear of Treeshroud Forest, noticing that time had already stopped even with the Time Gear still in place. Grovyle heads out to recover the other Gears, made easier by the Team revealing the truth and him and Dusknoir. They head to the [[Hidden Land]], which leads to the Temporal Tower. However, they are confronted by Dusknoir. After finally defeating him and his Sableye, Dusknoir reveals to the player that if they succeed, all Pokémon from the future will be erased from history. Grovyle is forced to send himself and Dusknoir back to the future, leaving the Time Gears with the player and partner. =Pokémon Mystery Dungeon 2 & Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Relationship=

After watching the fanmade PMD2 opening of "Nageki no Mori," it had me thinking. Personally, I think the Mystery Dungeon series and Higurashi are alike. The games have a "question arc," which is the main game required to beat and an "answer arc," the post credits story where you find out the cause of everything.

Shaymin is a small, hedgehog-like creature. Its fur is pure white. It also has green fur on its back, which looks like grass. It has a pink flower on each side of its face which somewhat resemble [[Glacidea Flower]]s. It has a plump underside and stubby legs. Shaymin is the smallest legendary Pokémon to date. According to the Pokédex figure of 0'08", it is also among the smallest Pokémon in existence, with its comrades being {{p|Diglett}}, {{p|Natu}}, {{p|Azurill}}, {{p|Budew}}, {{p|Burmy}} and {{p|Chingling}}.

As first revealed by Japan's CoroCoro Magazine, Shaymin has [[Form differences#Shaymin|two forms]]. The first (Land Forme) is the original form seen in [[Pokémon Diamond and Pearl Versions]]. A hoax perpetrated by PurpleKecleon, an artist on deviantART, brought her own version of Shaymin's Sky Forme, with a more feminine appearance than its real Sky Forme, to the fandom. This fake Sky Forme was passed around several Pokémon websites and assumed real until [[PokéBeach]] confirmed that it was fake.

===Leaking===
Before Shaymin's Sky Forme was officialy revealed, a photo of a drink tumbler decorated with several Pokémon, including Sky Forme, was shown on a [[Pokémon Festa]] page. The page was taken down moments afterward, because Shaymin's new form was accidentally shown to the public. Several people had already known about the tumbler, however. It was assumed and later proven that it was Shaymin's Sky Forme.

Shaymin's English name was first made known to the fandom through a complete list of the English names of Generation IV Pokémon that was obtained by [[Serebii.net]] and released on March 14, 2007, several weeks before the release of Diamond and Pearl.

The first appearance of Shaymin's name on an official English-language website came from the official GTS website on November 3rd 2008. The journal's weekly survey asked "Which of these is your favorite game feature?" and gave Shaymin as one of the possible answers. The reason for this "leak" is unknown and has not been commented on by official sources.

On November 26th 2008, a silhouette of Shaymin's Land Forme began appearing in various spots on the front page of [[Pokemon.com]], a technique also used before the releases of {{p|Manaphy}} and {{p|Darkrai}}. However, its image was then leaked in December through the release of the English coverart for the fourth volume of [[Pokémon Diamond and Pearl Adventure!]].

It was officially revealed via Pokémon.com on December 12, 2008, meaning that an [[Giratina and the Sky Warrior|11th movie]] English release could be coming soon.

Shaymin is based on a {{wp|hedgehog}}. Its white body and the grasslike fur on its back makes it somewhat resemble a {{wp|chia pet}}. Its Sky Forme shares traits with a {{wp|terrier}} and a {{wp|reindeer}}.

Shortly before [[Professor Oak|Sammy Oak]] went into the forest and, via [[Celebi (Pokémon 4Ever)|Celebi]], got sent into the future, she gave him a loaf of bread. She was worried that he would get hungry while in the forest, and didn't want him to starve.

At the present time, [[Ash Ketchum|Ash]] and [[Ash's friends|his friends]] were about to enter the same forest, when a much-older Towa and her granddaughter [[Diana]] appeared. Again, Towa warned about heading into the forest, claiming it was dangerous. She didn't realize that Sammy had in fact been sent into the future, until Ash and the others brought him out of the forest and into Towa's home. When she saw the loaf of bread, still fresh, she knew that Celebi had sent the young boy into the future.

The first Deoxys, which bore a purple crystal on its chest, suddenly arrived at the North Pole four years ago, in search of its friend, another Deoxys, which bore a green crystal on its chest. The first one, however, was attacked by {{p|Rayquaza}} while trying to retrieve the meteor containing its friend. After being completely blown to bits, the meteor containing its friend was taken by [[Professor Lund]] for research.
