The '''Dragon's Den''' is a location in [[Pokémon Gold and Silver|Pokémon Gold, Silver]] and [[Pokémon Crystal|Crystal]].

After defeating [[Blackthorn City]]'s [[Gym#Blackthorn Gym|Gym]], the player is granted access to the underground den. At the end of the Den's maze is the home and shrine of the Master of the Dragon User Clan, who will then give the player a quiz on the treatment of their [[Pokémon]].

There are only two kinds of [[wild Pokémon]] to be found in the water: {{p|Magikarp}} and {{p|Dratini}}. Dratini is pure {{t|Dragon}}-type and Magikarp evolves into {{p|Gyarados}}, which learns some Dragon-type [[move]]s.

Skilled [[Pokémon trainer|trainers]] are in the Dragon's Den. Players should heal their Pokémon and bring Super or Hyper [[Potion]]s and [[Status ailment healing item|Paralyz Heals]] before entering.

Sootopolis City is one of the the sixteen cities of [[Hoenn]], the land in which the games [[Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire|Pokémon Ruby, Sapphire]], and [[Pokémon Emerald]] take place.

"An underwater volcano erupted and forced itself up from the depths. Its crater emerged from the sea and became filled with rainwater. That's how Sootopolis City came into being." Referred to as "The mystical city where history slumbers", Sootopolis plays a major part in the games, as it is the location where the player has their first encounter with a legendary Pokémon, and obtains their final [[Badge]].

Sootopolis has a fantastic night-time view, the stars peer in through the top of the crater. To get around the city, people have to climb many flights of stairs and {{m|Dive}} under the sea. Because of this, many of the locals are in good shape.

In the [[Pokémon games]], Sootopolis can only be reached by diving through an underwater cavern or {{m|Fly}}ing. In the [[Pokémon anime]], the volcano Sootopolis is built in opens on one side so that ferries can reach it. Sootopolis is surrounded by [[Route 126]].

The '''Seafloor Cavern''' is a location in Hoenn, deep beneath the seas of [[Route 128]]. In order to reach it, players must have [[HM08]], {{m|Dive}}, and [[HM03]], {{m|Surf}}, as well as the proper [[badge]]s (Balancebadge and Mindbadge) to use the moves outside of battle. Once inside, [[HM04]], {{m|Strength}} and [[HM06]], {{m|Rock Smash}} are also required.

The search for the cavern begins when [[Team Aqua]] (Sapphire/Emerald) or [[Team Magma]] (Ruby) steals a submarine from [[Captain Stern]]. In Ruby, the cavern is the home of {{p|Groudon}}, who sleeps at its deepest part, while in Sapphire and Emerald, {{p|Kyogre}} is the Pokémon who sleeps here, while Groudon's home (at least in Emerald) is within the [[Magma Hideout]], deep inside of the caverns of [[Mt. Chimney]].

The player's quest to find the villainous team begins almost immediately after winning their seventh badge. With a Pokémon that can dive [[underwater]] in their [[party]], they can now navigate the maze of deep trenches on the routes of Hoenn's eastern sea. In the deepest one of them, smack dab in the middle of Route 128's pathway, is the entrance to the Seafloor Cavern, where the stolen submarine is parked.

After resurfacing inside the cave where the submarine is parked, players must navigate through the complex maze of tunnels to the deepest part, where the legendary Pokémon resides. Here they will also find the boss of the team that has stolen the submarine, [[Archie]] or [[Maxie]], who will attempt to control the legendary Pokémon of his desire using one of the orbs found at the top of [[Mt. Pyre]]. However, the Pokémon will not respond well, and instead will escape, causing severe [[weather conditions|rain or sunlight]], depending on which it is.

From here, the player must go to [[Sootopolis City]] and into the [[Cave of Origin]], either to catch the powerful legendary Pokémon (Ruby/Sapphire) or to talk to [[Wallace]] to deduce where {{p|Rayquaza}} is located (Emerald).

In the northwest corner of the Lake of Rage, there is a house. Inside a man will give players [[TM10]]: {{m|Hidden Power}}. The path to this house begins about the middle of Route 43, on the western side. Nearby this house, [[Wesley]] will give the player a {{i|Black Belt}} on Wednesdays.

[[Gold (Special)|Gold]] follows [[Silver (Special)|Silver]] to the Lake of Rage. Looking for him, Gold is surprised by a group of Gyarados thrashing around in the water. The locals flee, but Gold spots Silver running towards the lake. Nearly crushed by a glancing attack, Silver tells Gold that there are strange radio waves in the area, forcing the wild Pokémon to evlove. Silver flies off to find the source of the radio waves, leaving Gold alone to deal with multiple angry wild Gyarados by himself.

Interference on their [[PokéGear]] reveals the source to be a red Gyarados in the center of the swarm. Silver captures it, thus stopping the rest from rampaging. But it's only a matter of seconds before the two boys begin arguing again.

Suddenly, a fog covers the area. Gold instantly recognizes it as that of [[The Mask Of Ice]]. Secretly setting up a ring of razor-sharp icicles around them, the two boys fight along side each other, before the Mask's taunting gets the better of Silver. Chasing after him alone, Silver calls upon all of the wild Gyarados in the Lake (as the red Gyarados is the leader of them) and uses their combined strength to attack the Mask.

Meanwhile, Gold is busy dealing with some of the Mask's Pokémon by himself. After cleverly defeating them, he hurries after Silver, only to find the entire lake frozen solid. Silver and his Gyarados are knocked out. Gold runs to him, only to see a giant chunk of ice smash into Silver, throwing him into the water. Claiming that Silver was being punished, he then attacks Gold as well. The last few panels show Gold and his {{p|Aipom}} the instant before a giant chunk of ice is about to hit them, and the impact. Silver's hat and PokéGear are seen tossed into the air.

Pacifidlog is a town built on wooden rafts and logs that float on top of a {{p|Corsola}} colony. One important citizen of Pacifidlog is an old man that looks for Mirage Island, and will inform you on days that it appears.

There's a [[Gentleman]] in a house who will give out [[TM]]s for {{m|Frustration}} or {{m|Return}} every seven days depending on the [[Happiness]] of the party [[Pokémon]].

There's a woman who will trade a {{p|Corsola}} for a {{p|Bellossom}}.

The folks of Pacifidlog all fish and dive as part of the lifestyle. The ancestors of the people in Pacifidlog Town were said to have been born on boats then lived and died aboard them. According to legend, they lived that way because they were searching for something.

There's a legend in Pacifidlog Town of a flying Pokémon that never needs to rest. This could refer to {{p|Latios}}, {{p|Latias}}, or {{p|Rayquaza}}.

They also tell legends of sealed-away Pokémon that represent the powers of {{t|Ice}}, {{t|Rock}}, and {{t|Steel}}.

East of Pacifidlog Town is [[Route 131]]. West is [[Route 132]] and Slateport City beyond that. The sea between Pacifidlog and Slateport has a fast running tide that sweeps up {{m|Surf}}ing Pokémon and trainers to strange places.

In the Pokémon anime, Pacifidlog Town is a more traditional island, and has a [[Contest House]].

Curiously enough, Pacifidlog Town is one of the few communities of Hoenn that lacks a [[Poké Mart]].

'''Seagallop Ferries''' are a series of boats in [[Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen]] which transfer the player from [[Vermillion City]] to the [[Sevii Islands]] and back, as well as between the seven Sevii Islands. In addition, Seagallop ferries are the only means of accessing [[Navel Rock]] and [[Birth Island]]. They appear to use a mode of propulsion called "Hi-Speed" of which there are speed factors ranging from 1 to 9. Before boarding a Seagallop Ferry, a sailor will usually shout "All aboard Seagallop Hi-Speed..." followed by the speed the ferry will travel at.

== Access to the Sevii Islands ==
After defeating [[Cinnabar]]'s gym the player will receive a [[Tri-Pass]], allowing you to travel to and from [[Knot Island]], [[Boon Island]] and [[Kin Island]].
After defeating the Kanto league, if the player visits [[Celio]] on [[Knot Island]], he will ask for a Ruby and a Sapphire for his machine. Once the player has found them, Celio takes the Tri-Pass and upgrades it to a Rainbow Pass, allowing access to all of the [[Sevii Islands]].
