In the Anime, yes there WAS only one, but it was hinted that they could have made many more of his species had he not destroyed their lab (Random scientist: Very Good, Excellent! Let's work on Mewthree!
-Pokemon the first movie). And as for the games, yes, they made it quite clear in the games that Mewtwo is unique and one of a kind (the stadium games and the Mystery dungeon series don't count [and by stadium games, I mean just Pokemon Stadium ZERO (the unreleased japanese version), Pokemon Stadium, and Pokemon Stadium 2. I consider Colosseum/XD/Battle Revolution to be a different series from Stadium.].)

Well, they never had it appear in Gold/Silver, they never had it appear in the Colosseum games, they never even had it appear in the Ranger games. the only games it appeared in besides Gen I and it's remakes is the Mystery Dungeon series and the Stadium games, which really don't count in regards to the games canon (heck, the Mystery dungeon games don't even take PLACE on the main Pokemon world.). and of course they didn't mention making another mew clone, because Mewtwo blew up the place before they could even record the idea. The Mewtwo in Special is actually quite a prominent character, having appeared in the series which starred Red as a main character. While it doesn't make much of an appearance in the RGB saga, it actually makes a difference in the Yellow saga, with Yellow imitating the Psywave attack to supposedly defeat Lance. Even after that, in the FRLG saga, Mewtwo actually becomes part of the crew, having defeated R once, rescued Green's parents, beating the shit out of Deoxys and being the main reason why Red, Blue, Green, Yellow and Silver were turned to stone. What you've quoted is actually considered to be true by a lot of people, plus it's almost all true anyway - Mewtwo is slower than Ganondorf, Has NO offensive moves (besides Shadow Ball, which takes forever to charge, and then loses it if you get hit in the middle of charging), and falls about as fast as Metal Mario. Is it worth mentioning that Mewtwo has a similar appearance to Giygas [http://earthbound.wikia.com/wiki/Giygas] from the Mother series' form in the original Mother? for one thing I'm pretty sure Mewtwo doesn't use that spherical attack until his battle with mew.

From how Mewtwo acts using psychic in Stadium, and given that psychic can be in a spherical form it might just be psychic he's using.

:I doubt it. The reason the missingno glitch occurs is that Cinnabar has no Pokemon defined for surf encounters, despite the existance of one stip of water, the coast. As such, the variable for encounters is set at whatever it was last, like the safari zone. Old Man's weedle is either M or Missingno, I forget which. I think it's not in here because you can't find Missingno. at Seafoam Island. Yes, its coast has the same programming error as Cinnibar, but you can't get to Seafoam Island directly from Viridian like you can with Cinnibar. == MissingNo. altering save file ==

I saw the article about how "harmless" MissingNo. is to your save file and edited it. I have encountered an altered save file MYSELF. And it had NOTHING to do with my Red cartridge freezing.
After catching MissingNo. I encountered some issues with the Hall of Fame, which didn't bother me, as it's a minor issue and all. The worst of all issues came afterwards. When I loaded my save files and decided to challenge the elite four again - notably with my Mewtwo-Mew Team (the Mew was legitimely mine, as I won a Pokémon quiz), I realized, that only box number 19 had some Pokémon in it. All other boxes where empty. This didn't suit me at all, for my team was made of low-lvl Pokémon that were put in for training purpose only, and my "dream team" was gone, at least most of it.

then i did the rare candy cheat and raised it one lvl. it became lvl 1 and it was a picture of a pokemon(same as a ryhorn...i think...) then i raised it 100 lvls it became a little boy... 100 more it was a teenage girl i think... 100 more a teenage boy... then 100 more a woman... then 100 more... it was a man... then 100 more... now this was the wierd part... it was a grandpa... then it was a grandma 100 more... then 1 more it was a lvl 1 kangaskhan...

My friend, Darkzero, has discovered a Missingno of sorts in Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum. This one Missingno that I know of having been found is currently stored on my DS; I would clone it, but it's registered as an illegal Pokemon and my AR cable is missing to try and AR another one in somehow. The image for it is an egg in the party menu, but when you select its summary it flickers and disappears momentarily, then returns. It's a level 94, Pokedex number 494 (which is impossible), and has the moves Gravity, Flamethrower, Thunderbolt, and Punishment. It has Wonder Guard and is Normal type, and came to me holding a Heart Scale and infected with Pokerus. Can't level up and can't learn moves, says it was met in Oreburgh at 22, and has a Naughty nature (last one is possibly irrelevant). Oh, and the OT doesn't exist, the line is blank.
SELF EDIT- It has the PC image of the PCbox glitch Pokemon.

Please do not change the links to the Pokémon on the episode lists. As stated in the {{bp|manual of style}}, we keep the Pokémon that way to avoid spoiler prevention. I saw an article about this somewhere and I can't seem to find it anymore. So in the meantime this post shall go here. My name in the game right now is ??!! male sign twice, female sign. Now the main point is that Bulbapedia doesn't talk about the two glitch pokemon that I've encountered via the Missingno. glitch. With this name executing the Missingno. glitch, the trainers that I end up fighting are: Channeler, CoolTrainer (Male), and Blaine, the gym leader. They have six pokemon and all are the same and as follows: A glitch pokemon I dubbed L8 (true name is what seems to be a right triangle,katakana symbol, 2 glitch boxes, followed by an 8). It seems to be the rock type, because grass moves are effective, and normal attacks are not. Its two attacks are Tackle and Screech. And for some reason, it changes backround music to some weird tune. It has no cry other than the changing of music. After which is followed up with a glitch Nidorino. It knows Razor Wind, Horn Attack, Tackle, and TM48 (the glitch explosion). Then the trainer pulls out a classic Missingno. (2 water guns and sky attack). Then another glitch pokemon which I dubbed Pokemon N (True Name: PKMN symbols 3 glitch boxes, then the letter N). Its cry is the tune for the Song move. It knows Tackle and Leer. After that one, a completely normal Flareon comes up. Then another glitch Nidorino pops up. After you defeat that one the match ends and you earn money. i am the owner of that smeargle, and every time i try to look at its summary it does that, if use it in battle (against a pokemon trainer) if i choose attack then press b then go to items and use any type of poke ball it will catch there pokemon and go to the pokedex, but once it asks for a nickname it freezes with the same pink screen wih a safari ball in the middle. :I doubt it. The reason the missingno glitch occurs is that Cinnabar has no Pokemon defined for surf encounters, despite the existance of one stip of water, the coast. As such, the variable for encounters is set at whatever it was last, like the safari zone. Old Man's weedle is either M or Missingno, I forget which. Yes, its coast has the same programming error as Cinnibar, but you can't get to Seafoam Island directly from Viridian like you can with Cinnibar. This doesn't have to do with that, it has to do with displaying the sprites like SPRITES! I made a mistake in putting the sprites in the gallery box, it made them too big. And I think Glitch Pokémon should be considered real! They can battle, they have stats, they have sprites, they can learn attacks via TM (and HM in some cases), and they have cries! If those characteristics don't qualify them as Pokémon, I don't know what does. Did you ever actually read the quote in my sig? --

I remember reading in a book somewhere that the 'orignal' Missingno. (from Red/Blue, NOT YELLOW) could be traded to Pokemon Yellow, and that when traded to Pokemon Yellow, Missingno. (or was it 'M?) would gain the same Pokedex number that Togetic has in the G/S/C Pokedex. I don't know where this info should be put, however, so I've not added the term.
