The line "Unlike previous trios, the golems share much more similar names, at the cost of having their types be estranged from the standard..." is somewhat odd. How does having similar names cost them their potential types? How is Regifire and Regilectricity hard to do? Besides, the Regis are golems. Golems are constructs of materials by humans and somehow magically animated. I can't see anyone stacking fire (well, Diablo II did) or electricity into a golem... rock, ice and steel are much more conventional building blocks, as each are used in the construction of buildings. :Well, they were pretty much the first trio to have their types not the (then) standard Fire/Electric/Water-Ice, and the first trio whose names were similar. In fact... they're the only trio to do that. Do the requirements to unlock each individual regi change between the different games? I'm replaying Ruby right now, and in order to unlock Regice, I had to wait two minutes for the chamber to open. With Registeel, I used fly not flash. And with Regirock, I had to take two steps right, two down and use strength instead of rock smash. Is this a difference between Ruby/Sapphire with Emerald. "The trio can be caught in Pokémon Platinum, where a remixed version of the music used in Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald is played. There are three other instances in the main series that a legendary trio or one of its members can be caught in a place that is not their native region (one of the legendary beasts can be caught in Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen, the legendary birds are available for capture in Platinum, roaming Sinnoh, and Moltres is available for capture in Johto's Mt. You claim that they're the only types of which statues can be made, but after all, topiary is basically the art of making grass statues, and clay (which is used to make terracotta statues) is usually associated with the Ground type, which doesn't have a corresponding golem. And if you'd like to offer an attempt at arguing that it's possible to make a statue out of "normal", be my guest. (Yeah, I know Regigigas isn't included in this article, but it's part of the scope of the topic and really deserves to be included about as much as Keldeo deserves to be part of the Swords of Justice article. But I digress; that's a discussion for another day.) Pumpkinking0192 (talk) 23:57, 4 November 2012 (UTC)
The regi made of clay wouldn't have the name 'Regiground' as it is not ground in its most 'typical' form, so it would be 'Regiclay'. And 'Regigrass' would not be able to exist as an ancient golem, as it would rot. And Regigigas, yeah... ...the normal type can mean many different things, sometimes it is able to make a statue from and sometimes not. My conclusion is: those types are the only types you could make a statue from in its most 'TYPICAL' form AND can be a statue for FOREVER. ==about the individual chambers in RSE==
There was the whole reversal of Relicanth and Wailord mentioned in the trivia section. Inspyre 16:01, 29 January 2010 (UTC)
Trivia
"The trio can be caught in Pokémon Platinum, where a remixed version of the music used in Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald is played. There are three other instances in the main series that a legendary trio or one of its members can be caught in a place that is not their native region (one of the legendary beasts can be caught in Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen, the legendary birds are available for capture in Platinum, roaming Sinnoh, and Moltres is available for capture in Johto's Mt. Silver)."

Shouldn't Latios and Latias in Kanto and the weather trio in Johto (both in HG/SS) be mentioned as well? --Locrian 13:09, 9 August 2010 (UTC)
Statue types.
I placed:'(the only Pokémon types of which statues can be made)' on the page right after the mentioning of the types (see history please). But it was removed as it has nothing to do with the rest of the article? Does anyone of you know where to place this line: 'their types are the only Pokémon types of which statues can be made'? Nickvang (talk) 23:10, 4 November 2012 (UTC)
:Thinking about it some more, I'm not even sure I'd agree that it's even factually accurate.
== Why should it be moved? ==

I see no reason for this page to be moved to "Legendary Titans."

I've never heard of them being called that.
Heracross (Japanese: ヘラクロス Heracros) is a dual-type Pokémon.

While it is not known to evolve into or from any other Pokémon, it can Mega Evolve into Mega Heracross using the Mega Stone.

Biology
Heracross is a bipedal, beetle-like Pokémon covered in a blue exoskeleton. There is a long, pronged horn on its forehead. The horn ends in a cross on the male and a heart-shape in the female. On either side of the horn is a short antenna with a spherical tip. Heracross has oval, yellow eyes. Its forearms have a pair of spikes, while its thighs have a single spike each. It has two claws on its hands, and a single long claw on each foot.

Mega Heracross is bulkier than its previous form. Thin orange markings now rim its head, hands, and shoulders. Additionally, there is a half-circle, orange marking over its eyes. It now has a long, pointed nose that curves slightly upward. Its back now lacks wings and is completely yellow. The horn on its head has grown into a large, simple spike with two smaller spikes on the front. The antennae have lengthened as well, and now have ovoid tips. Mega Heracross's forearms have thickened and lost their spines. This Pokémon has a high body temperature, so it opens the shell on its torso to allow heat to escape.

Heracross's claws allow it to dig into the ground for sturdy footing or climb trees. Using its horn, it throws opponents or competitors for food. It lives in List of Pokémon by habitat, where it feeds on tree sap. As seen in the anime, Heracross has been known to compete with Pokémon such as Pinsir for food. The same episode also shows Heracross allowing Butterfree to feed on tree sap after Heracross has finished its meal. In addition, it is shown to suck sap from Grass Pokémon such as Bulbasaur.
Trivia
* No other Pokémon has the same type combination as Heracross.
* Heracross can be seen as a counterpart to Pinsir. Both are Bug Pokémon based on beetles and lack an evolutionary family. Pinsir is not part Fighting like Heracross, but it learns several Fighting-type moves by leveling up. Both Pokémon and their Mega Stones are versions exclusives in X and Y: Heracross and Heracronite are exclusive to Y while Pinsir and Pinsirite are exclusive to X. Each Mega Stone can be found in Santalune Forest in their respective versions. The heights of both Pokémon are the same, even when Mega Evolved.
**Interestingly, Heracross is usually shown acting as a sort of rival to Pinsir and vice versa.
* Mega Heracross has the highest base Attack stat of all non-Legendary Pokémon.
** Subsequently, this means Mega Heracross has the highest base Attack stat of all Bug-type Pokémon.
* Mega Heracross is tied with Pinsir, Scizor and Genesect for the highest base stat total of all Bug-type Pokémon.
* Heracross is one of fourteen Pokémon that one could collect foreign Pokédex entries for in Diamond and Pearl.

Origin
Heracross is most likely based on the Japanese rhinoceros beetle. These beetles are known for their incredible strength, and use in insect fighting, which explains its Fighting type.

Mega Heracross appears to be based on a Hercules beetle.

Name origin
Heracross and Heracros are a combination of Ἡρακλῆς, Hēraklēs (Heracles, a demigod of Greek mythology, whose Hercules has given name to the Hercules beetle) and cross.
