Unless Cynthia is only thirteen years old (which she'd have to be to start out with a Pokédex [invented three years before Generation II and IV]) it's possible Cynthia started out with a forerunner/prototype of the Pokédex, such as the P*DA. In Platinum, I specifically remember that if you went and checked the cave painting in the Celestic Ruins again after beating the Elite Four, Cynthia showed up and gave a big lecture on the dragon trio, lake trio, and speculation on Arceus. Hi, I'm Adam_148, and I've liked Pokémon since I first got Pokémon Red when I was about six (10 years ago). Now I'm an amateur spriter with a killer imagination and tons of ideas.
