Release information

This card was released as a BW Black Star Promotional card released in the Zoroark-Illusions Collection box in October 2011. The box contains a normal size holographic, as well as a jumbo 3D version. In Japan, this card was available at the Next Generation World Hobby Fair in January 2011.

This card is based on the event Zoroark also distributed at the Next Generation World Hobby Fair in January 2011. Punishment and Snarl are both moves in the Pokémon games that the event Zoroark knows. At the time of the distribution, the event Zoroark was the only legitimate Pokémon with Snarl, as TM95 had yet to be made available. This card's Pokédex entry comes from Pokémon Black.
