Yuriko Yamaguchi

Yuriko Yamaguchi (Japanese: 山口由里子 Yamaguchi Yuriko) is a Japanese voice actress for the Pokémon anime. She was born on November 21, 1965 in Osaka, Japan.

Pokémon roles

Yamaguchi began to provide voices for Pokémon starting with Whichever Way the Wind Blows as Vileplume. She then gained the role of Nurse Joy in Will the Real Oak Please Stand Up?, taking over the role from Ayako Shiraishi. She went on maternity leave from DP025-DP050, during which Kikuko Inoue filled in. While Chika Fujimura took over the role of Nurse Joy in Unova, Yamaguchi reprised the role in the Diamond & Pearl series special SS025.
