Water Veil (Japanese: みずのベール Water Veil) is an ability introduced in Generation III that prevents burns. Four Pokémon have this ability, all of them Water-type.

If a Pokémon is Burned and gains this ability throughout Transform, Role Play or Trace, the Burn will be removed. If these abilities are lost, the Burn will return.
