Release information

This card was released in the English Base Set, originating from the Japanese Expansion Pack. It was later reprinted in the English Base Set 2 expansion and the English Legendary Collection expansion. In Japan, it was later reprinted in the Pokémon Web expansion.

Some prints of the card list "Monster Ball" in the Pokédex entry instead of "Poké Ball".
