Card Text

This Pokémon is both PsychicMetal type
Poison Pollen
Once during your turn (before your attack), you may flip a coin. If heads, choose 1 of the Defending Pokémon. That Pokémon is now Poisoned. This power can't be used if Vileplume is affected by a Special Condition.
Look at your opponent's hand. This attack does 30 damage plus 10 more damage for each Trainer card in your opponent's hand.

This card is depicted as part Psychic-type, as it is a Delta Species. However, since Generation IV began depicting Poison types as Psychic-type, it is now viable for normal Vileplume cards to be depicted as Psychic types.

Poison Pollen is similar to PoisonPowder, a move in the Pokémon games that Vileplume can learn.
