Grammer
Please keep in mind that anything with a prefix of Poké (ex. Pokémon, Pokédex) needs to have an accented é. If you don't know the key combo need to get the é, then you can find it in the Character Palette located below the edit window. Just click on the character you want and it will appear on edit window. Thank you. Truthseeker4449 18:52, 28 January 2012 (UTC)
Genders
I'm just letting you know that we don't call a Pokémon male or female unless it's really obvious. We rely on what the main characters say, never what it looks like. The anime has been known to make mistakes, even in how tall the Pokémon. This phrase is often conisidered law here, "the Games do not equal the Anime." On a different note, please sign all comments with ~~~~, this turns into your username and adds the time when you posted your comment. This makes it easier to contact you without having to look in history of the page. On yet another note, please link to pages like Pikachu using {{p|Pikachu}}. This reduces the amount of text and it's easier too. They are called link templates and there's a whole list of them here. They are mainly used with pages that have a prefix (like User:) or something in ( ), like Pikachu (Pokémon). If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. If I don't know the answer, then I'll point you to someone who does. Please have a nice day. Truthseeker4449 21:56, 13 March 2012 (UTC)
- Just wanted to let you know, our policy on gender differences is: For Pre-Gen IV Pokémon, we need to see both genders for miscellaneous Pokémon. Then for Pokémon that have been around a while, Wobbuffet, Heracross, they were around before there were gender differences. They couldn't just change Heracross's horn, or change Wobbuffet, or Pikachu, etc. So unless it's outright stated, these Pokémon will be unknown. May's Venusaur however, was shown to be female as she had the seed in her flower, so that's confirmed, and any Venusaur afterwards will be guaranteed male or female. ★Jo the Marten★ ಠ_ಠ♥ 20:54, 2 May 2012 (UTC)
The Preview Button
Instead of editing a page several times in a row, try using the preview button to make sure your edit looks the way you want it to. It's right next to the Save Changes button... Please try it out, so as not to clog up the Recent Changes. Thanks! --Pokégeek 19:55, 5 April 2012 (UTC)
