By creating your account you are now able to edit pages, join discussions, and expand the community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia. Before you jump in, here are some ground rules:

  • Be nice to everyone. It's in the code of conduct.
  • Make good edits. Preview them before you save to make sure they're perfect the first time around.
  • Use wikicode and link templates when adding content to a page.
  • Use proper grammar and spelling, and read the manual of style.
  • You can't create a userpage until you've added to the encyclopedia. It's a privilege. See the userspace policy.
  • Use talk pages to resolve editing disputes. Don't "edit war," or constantly re-edit/undo the same thing on a page.
  • If you have a question about something, be proactive. Take a look at our FAQ. If you're still stuck, ask for help. The staff won't bite.
  • Sign all talk page posts with four tildes (~~~~). This will turn into your name and the time you wrote the comment.
  • For more handy links, see the welcome portal.
Thank you, and have a good time editing here!

Replacing images

Hello. I saw your post here, and I don't know why you blamed them for doing that, because they didn't. No one changed the images. It's designed to do that every year because it's the anniversary of Pokemon Red and Green. Ataro (talk) 04:32, 28 February 2013 (UTC)

I saw Yvnr's name in several of the edits of pokemon species pages, all on the same day. I figured if it was an automatic community edit, it wouldn't show. I did not blame the person though, nor did I act upon any of it. It was merely an asking for personal confirmation that they did not do it, or that they had a good reason. Thank you for pointing out the truth though. TheWheatOne (talk) 07:23, 1 March 2013 (UTC)
Yvnr was adding links onto Pokémon Conquest information. Also, you were blaming him. "Please explain why you reverted all 151 pokemon species pages to their original images by Ken Sugimori?" You specifically deemed him responsible, and you did so again by saying, "It was merely an asking for personal confirmation that they did not do it, or that they had a good reason," again stating that they somehow caused the art to change. Next time, please check what edits someone is actually making before you question their actions (or actions they did not make). Jo the Marten ಠ_ಠ 07:38, 1 March 2013 (UTC)
Yesh, it was just a mistake. I admit it. I'm new to wikias, so I couldn't tell what he did. I was not attacking him maliciously with accusations though. I only wanted to find out what was happening, and no other edits were made on that day, that it changed. So I had no idea what was happening to the pages, only that he was the latest one to edit, and that previously edited versions had the firered/leafgreen images, not the original ones that showed up on his newest edits to the pages. And although my wording was bad, I did not assume he was at fault, but I did assume that he did the edits. For all I knew, he was asked to change them from some other admin who didn't have the time. That's why I went on his talk page instead of going to an admin or reporting him, or editing the pages back to firered/leafgreen versions. I thought he must have had some purpose to doing them in my head at the time. TheWheatOne (talk) 01:56, 2 March 2013 (UTC)
