By creating your account you are now able to edit pages, join discussions, and expand the community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia. Before you jump in, here are some ground rules:

  • Be nice to everyone. It's in the code of conduct.
  • Make good edits. Preview them before you save to make sure they're perfect the first time around.
  • Use wikicode and link templates when adding content to a page.
  • Use proper grammar and spelling, and read the manual of style.
  • You can't create a userpage until you've added to the encyclopedia. It's a privilege. See the userspace policy.
  • Use talk pages to resolve editing disputes. Don't "edit war," or constantly re-edit/undo the same thing on a page.
  • If you have a question about something, be proactive. Take a look at our FAQ. If you're still stuck, ask for help. The staff won't bite.
  • Sign all talk page posts with four tildes (~~~~). This will turn into your name and the time you wrote the comment.
  • For more handy links, see the welcome portal.
Thank you, and have a good time editing here!

Style

Just so you know, every time the word "Pokémon" is mentioned, it's extremely important that you put an accent over the "e" every time. You can do this by pressing the alt button on your keyboard and typing in the numbers 130 or 0233. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 00:04, 10 July 2018 (UTC)

Linking anime character articles

Just for future reference, whenever you're linking a character, it's important to remember the likelihood that there could be multiple versions of the same character, and if you're not careful, you could just link new readers to a disambiguation page. That's exactly what you did here. Now, if you're going to link an anime version of a character who's appeared in multiple forms of Pokémon media, it's important to use the {{an}} template, as shown, again for simplicity's sake. For example, {{an|Serena}} is the correct usage. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 03:41, 26 July 2018 (UTC)

You did it again here. Did you not read my message? Serena is actually a disambiguation page, just so you know. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 21:36, 24 October 2018 (UTC)

M01 release date

Before you make controversial edits such as this, it's best to alert an admin first. There's a reason those dates are on there. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 03:22, 14 December 2018 (UTC)

Galar region

Please don't say Galar is based on the UK just yet, even if that's what a lot of other people are also saying. There hasn't been any official sources confirming this, and we should wait for such, because Game Freak might throw us in a loop and say Galar is based on another country. Source for Allearth Forest

You need external sources to back up your claims of Allearth Forest being based solely on Niagara Falls. We can't just take your word for it. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 04:55, 11 October 2019 (UTC)

Talk Page Comments

Removing talk page comments, including the initial welcome template, is prohibited per Bulbapedia's talk page policy. Please do not remove any comments in the future. If you wish to clean old comments away, you should archive your talk page instead. Thank you! --ForceFire 12:48, 11 October 2019 (UTC)

Florian Name

Is there a source for the origin of Florian's name being named after a US state, I don't think that sounds right if the region is based on Spain.--FrostyZippy (talk) 23:03, 29 November 2022 (UTC)

The term Florian is very similar to the US state of Florida. The Florida name is named after being one of the oldest Spanish colonies outside America. Pokemondude1999 (talk) 00:12, 30 November 2022 (UTC)
