By creating your account you are now able to edit pages, join discussions, and expand the community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia. Before you jump in, here are some ground rules:

  • Be nice to everyone. It's in the code of conduct.
  • Make good edits. Preview them before you save to make sure they're perfect the first time around.
  • Use wikicode and link templates when adding content to a page.
  • Use proper grammar and spelling, and read the manual of style.
  • You can't create a userpage until you've added to the encyclopedia. It's a privilege. See the userspace policy.
  • Use talk pages to resolve editing disputes. Don't "edit war," or constantly re-edit/undo the same thing on a page.
  • If you have a question about something, be proactive. Take a look at our FAQ. If you're still stuck, ask for help. The staff won't bite.
  • Sign all talk page posts with four tildes (~~~~). This will turn into your name and the time you wrote the comment.
  • For more handy links, see the welcome portal.
Thank you, and have a good time editing here!

Hindi Typing

Hi, Pikatepig999, as mentioned 2-3 time in my edit summaries, writing in Hindi you are making too many mistakes. I suggest you this site for typing in Hindi. Thank You! --Viv (talk) 15:15, 17 August 2013 (UTC)

RE: Hindi Typing Yes, Viv, thank you for your help. But the matter is, the List of Hindi Pokémon themes page Hinglish words are a little bit wrong. So i use inscript input on Google Translate. I will be using the site specified by you in the future. Thanks for your help. PikaTepig999 (talk) 14:42, 20 August 2013 (UTC)

Hey please keep talk page comments in one page as its hard too see full conversation if they are in different pages. I have a work for you you can everyday watch Pokémon episodes from T.V in Hindi and put their title--Viv (talk) 17:01, 20 August 2013 (UTC)

The title is the same as of English but preepositions are different. But still I can add the titles if you wish.PikaTepig999 (talk) 11:38, 21 August 2013 (UTC)

I am talking about when THEY SAY THE TITLE IN HINDI of Pokémon Black and White--Viv (talk) 12:15, 21 August 2013 (UTC)

YEAh sure I can Do that. Just tell me where and how. PikaTepig999 (talk) 12:18, 21 August 2013 (UTC)

Now I think you know where and how one more thing do NOT put episode names typed in Hindi kyunki agar aisa kiya toh saare pages mai same cheez karni padegi better hai ki English letters ka hi prayog kiya jaye Thank You --Viv (talk) 14:59, 30 August 2013 (UTC)

Welcoming users

It is nice to welcome new users, but some of those you welcomed have names that commonly denote that they're actually spambots. One of the most common names for spambots here are usernames that appear to be first and last names joined and in camelcase (an example of this type of spambot username using one that has been blocked some time ago: AntonioMiralles). To avoid the possibility of welcoming a spambot, sometimes it's best to wait until the user made a constructive edit, then use the welcome template. Thanks! Berrenta (talk) 12:44, 29 April 2014 (UTC)

Okay, I'll take care in future. By the way, what are Spambots ?? --- PikaTepig999(TALK PAGE)(Contribs) 08:50, 30 April 2014 (UTC)
A spambot is generally a program created by a person that goes to websites that anyone can edit (wikis, forums etc.) and creates a page or pages with external links to websites the creator of the spambot is trying to promote, generally because they were paid by the website. We do not like these as it's advertising random crap on Bulbapedia. The program run by the creator usually creates several accounts and uses one of them to spam the link. There are then several accounts that go unnoticed since they didn't do anything but they're not real users. That's why we don't welcome them. They generally follow the pattern of FirstnameLastname or NameABCDE where "ABCDE" could be a random set of capital letters. So, I would suggest not welcoming accounts that follow this pattern unless they make an edit that is not spam. ☆The Solar Dragon☆ 13:09, 30 April 2014 (UTC)
let's put it a shorter way (if you know what i mean): a spambot is something that protects a website from spam. by the way, pikatepig999, thanks for welcoming me to bulbapedia! if you battle me, you'll lose $ 00:58, 3 September 2014 (UTC) - unsigned comment from Valehd (talkcontribs)
Valehd, that's the opposite of what they actually do. They don't protect the site from spam, they create spam. Also, please sign with four tildes, not five. Berrenta (talk) 01:05, 3 September 2014 (UTC)
You're welcome, Valehd. And I know about Spam bots! As told by Berrenta above, I only welcome users if they have made a constructive edit. →PikaTepig999★ 04:29, 3 September 2014 (UTC)

Pokémon in India

Hello! Just to let you know Pokémon has now been shifted to Hungama Tv you can watch Pokémon Indigo league episodes on it, starting from 19th May at 1 PM! --Viv (talk) 18:29, 17 May 2014 (UTC)

Have you added this the Pokemon in south asia page?? --PikaTepig999 18:33, 17 May 2014 (UTC)
Yeah, added four days before :) --Viv (talk) 18:36, 17 May 2014 (UTC)
Should it be reported on bulbanews?? --PikaTepig999 18:39, 17 May 2014 (UTC)

DJWolfy

Just so you are aware, DJWolfy has not been active since 2012. So your comment on his talkpage is rather pointless as he is unlikely to respond. Regarding your question about him, it is just his personal preference since he most likely speak in those languages.--ForceFire 10:53, 19 July 2014 (UTC)

Ohh, I did not know that. Thank you for informing me. →PikaTepig999 18:38, 19 July 2014 (UTC)
(Just something in my defense) If a user hasn't edited the wiki does not necessarily mean that he is inactive. It could also mean that the user hasnt found any article he/she can contribute to. →PikaTepig999

Welcoming other users

When welcoming other users, please only use {{subst:welcome}}. You shouldn't force a section or table of contents on their talk pages. - Kogoro - Talk to me - 08:03, 1 August 2014 (UTC)

I was not forcing a TOC but I wanted it to appear after the Welcome template. But, I will use {{subst:welcome}} only from now on. --PikaTepig999 08:20, 1 August 2014 (UTC)

RE: Hungama Pokerap lyrics

I would like to, but I have got some issues: 1st: I can only help for the former two pokéfan rap lyrics, 2nd: I am having a browser issue which limits my edit range to 5000 characters, and 3rd: I am not good at hindi. I might suggest a link, but till then I am helpless to help about it. Sorry! Mccoyzn (talk) 15:58, 27 September 2014 (UTC)

Hey please keep conversations on one page as it is hard to see full conversations if they are on different pages. I have replied on your talk page. →PikaTepig999 (talk) 19:25, 27 September 2014 (UTC)

About the edit of pokéfan rap

Hey, you should not mention my talk page in the edit summary. And another thing, don't redirect the discussion somewhere else otherwise I will be unable to give answers (you know about my browser issue).~> Mccoyzn (talk) 10:47, 29 September 2014 (UTC)

Why? The users who read that summary will know about that discussion and can also participate if they have some information about that. →PikaTepig999 (talk) 12:06, 29 September 2014 (UTC)
Oh, and one thing, should we consider the hungama tv promo raps for season 1? Also, have you noticed that the hungama tv dub always pronounces pokédex as 'pokétab'?|>Mccoyzn (talk) 03:27, 30 September 2014 (UTC)
Promo raps do not count. And yes, Pokétab is worth mentioning in the SAsia article. AdynizWanna talk? 04:00, 30 September 2014 (UTC)
So how should we mention it? (I mean we should do some "scrubbing and polishing" before adding it.)Mccoyzn (talk) 04:19, 30 September 2014 (UTC)
What do you mean by promo raps? I had added the name change of the pokedex to the In other languages section of that article. At first the Pokedex was strictly called poketab, but in some recent episodes they have called it pokedex only. →PikaTepig999 09:11, 30 September 2014 (UTC)
Adyniz, have you watched the Pokefan raps? Wouldn't it be better if we converted it into a dialogue form ? →PikaTepig999 09:11, 30 September 2014 (UTC)
Nevermind, Pokédex is certainly a better place for that bit.
I'm not sure what you mean by dialogue form. AdynizWanna talk? 09:26, 30 September 2014 (UTC)
It is impossible to do that because we don't know the names of actors and we are also not sure that they have sung it themselves or were just "lipsing".Mccoyzn (talk) 09:55, 30 September 2014 (UTC)
And I was thinking about that whether they are right for "list of pokémon hindi themes" article or not. CNI BW song video is basically an opening theme; Hungama pokérap can be considered ending theme, but they are neither shown in opening nor ending. What does Adyniz think about that?! Mccoyzn (talk) 10:14, 30 September 2014 (UTC)
By dialogue, I meant like this:
VEERU: जानता है तू कितना पोकेमोन
JAY: Ok dude
JAY: Game On
And about the themes, BW Song Video is shown everyday, and from EP012 to EP064, Hungama pokerap was shown regularly as a ending theme. → PikaTepig999 12:07, 30 September 2014 (UTC)
By "them" I meant the pokéfan raps NOT the others. And are you sure that the boy which said the 1st line was VEERU. He might also be JAY!!!!Mccoyzn (talk) 12:14, 30 September 2014 (UTC)
Thats why I was asking if you have the video link of the raps. → PikaTepig999 12:24, 30 September 2014 (UTC)
But the link is not in my hand till now. The site is saying coming soon pokéfan raps!Mccoyzn (talk) 12:28, 30 September 2014 (UTC)
Well at least tell me the site, i will contact them myself. → PikaTepig999 12:31, 30 September 2014 (UTC)
But I don't know much about the site since I have reached it using google. And by the way, my topic of discussion was whether pokéfan raps can be considered theme or not. Mccoyzn (talk) 12:37, 30 September 2014 (UTC)
What I meant was, give me the site link. About.the second issue, let us wait until Adyniz replies. → PikaTepig999 12:58, 30 September 2014 (UTC)
I can't possibly make a decision without listening to it first. I don't have access to Dish TV anymore. So for now, I can't really say anything about the dialogue vs whatever. As for whether they should be considered as themes or not, don't consider them as opening or endings if they are (officially) not. But yes, they are still notable and you can add them to the themes article with the appropriate given name. AdynizWanna talk? 04:22, 2 October 2014 (UTC)
Hungama's original pokerap was subtitled and these pokefan raps were too. so they can be considered official as well. Other promo raps were not subtitled, so the pokefan rap is clearly not a promo. → PikaTepig999 03:57, 3 October 2014 (UTC)

Capitalization in redirects

Just so you know, there's no need to create redirects in different cases. Searching "cosplay pikachu" will still take you to the Cosplay Pikachu redirect, because the search box ignores case (unless there are pages that differ in title by capitalization, which we avoid for that very reason). Creating the redirect Cosplay pikachu is not necessary. --SnorlaxMonster 07:13, 3 October 2014 (UTC)

But what if somebody typed [[cosplay pikachu]] instead of [[Cosplay Pikachu]] in an article? It'll be usefull then. → PikaTepig999 08:23, 3 October 2014 (UTC)
Anyway, thanks for letting me know about that. → PikaTepig999 08:23, 3 October 2014 (UTC)
If someone types [[cosplay pikachu]] in article, then they have capitalized it incorrectly, and it is an error that should be corrected. Such redirects actually make it harder to spot these kinds of errors (since otherwise they would show up in Special:WantedPages), and don't provide any real benefit. --SnorlaxMonster 08:27, 3 October 2014 (UTC)
Okay. So you'll delete that [[Cosplay pikachu]] page, right? → PikaTepig999 08:42, 3 October 2014 (UTC)
Oh, you deleted it already. One more thing I wanna ask is how does the <code> tag work? → [[User talk:PikaTepig999|<span style="color: blue">PikaTepig999</span>]] 08:55, 3 October 2014 (UTC) ::::::If you put <code> tags around some text, it changes the font and background behind that specific text. So <code>text</code> would show up as <code>text</code>. Keep in mind that <code> does not apply <nowiki> to the text, so if you want to display wikicode that way, you have to write <nowiki><code>wikicode</code></nowiki>. --[[User:SnorlaxMonster|<span style="color:#A70000">'''Snorlax'''</span>]][[User talk:SnorlaxMonster|<span style="color:#0000A7">'''Monster'''</span>]] 12:32, 3 October 2014 (UTC) :::::::I know what it does and how to use it but i want to know how it works. I mean, its is not a template, and it does not work on <del>some</del> all wikis<ins>, so it's clearly not a standard on all wikis</ins>. So does it work here? → [[User talk:PikaTepig999|<span style="color: blue">PikaTepig999</span>]] 14:07, 3 October 2014 (UTC) Never mind that. → PikaTepig999 12:07, 10 October 2014 (UTC)

Edit War

The information that says Pokemon Johto was not dubbed for Hungama in Pokemon in South Asia and List of Hindi Pokemon themes is removed from those pages because that information is not required now because Hungama has not yet completed the initial run of season 3. It may later be dubbed. After season 3 completes and then IF the song is not dubbed then the information you add you can add then IF they don't dub but now that information is not required because season 3 has not completed on the channel. So stop adding that information in the pages above. Thanks! - unsigned comment from Yash Sen (talkcontribs)
