Welcome to Bulbapedia, Jacobspencer04!

By creating your account you are now able to edit pages, join discussions, and expand the community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia. Before you jump in, here are some ground rules:

  • Be nice to everyone. It's in the code of conduct.
  • Make good edits. Preview them before you save to make sure they're perfect the first time around.
  • Use wikicode and link templates when adding content to a page.
  • Use proper grammar and spelling, and read the manual of style.
  • You can't create a userpage until you've added to the encyclopedia. It's a privilege. See the userspace policy.
  • Use talk pages to resolve editing disputes. Don't "edit war," or constantly re-edit/undo the same thing on a page.
  • If you have a question about something, be proactive. Ask for help. The staff won't bite.
  • Sign all talk page posts with four tildes (~~~~). This will turn into your name and the time you wrote the comment.
  • For more handy links, see the welcome portal.
Thank you, and have a good time editing here!

Landorus

OK, you and I both know that the names are all but officially confirmed. But, see, at Bulbapedia, there's this policy about waiting until official confirmation. I personally disagree with this intensely, especially as they don't think Serebii.net qualifies as official confirmation when it's as good as, but continually adding the names when Nintendo hasn't confirmed them yet, not good. Could get you into trouble. Just a heads up. - unsigned comment from Missingno. Master (talkcontribs) 00:41, 31 January 2011 (UTC)

Your contributions

This is a warning to cease adding links to Deviantart and Facebook pages. To post an image, simply upload it to the Archives. Jo the Marten ಠ_ಠ 03:59, 25 July 2011 (UTC)

Heed the warnings. Please do not put the links. Period. ~ Blitzamirin ~ 04:25, 25 July 2011 (UTC)
Hey, you were told not to add images by hotlinking to external sites. If you want to add an image to an article, please upload it to the Archives. Due to you ignoring these warnings on your talk page, in edit summaries reverting you, and the fact that it was made extremely obvious that your actions were unwanted by locking the page you were trying to edit, you will incur a very generous two hour block. Please use this time to reread these warnings and locate where you should upload your images to. --SnorlaxMonster 04:51, 25 July 2011 (UTC)
Please, stop hotlinking from other websites. Ataro 23:09, 25 July 2011 (UTC)

The Preview Button

Instead of editing a page several times in a row, try using the preview button to make sure your edit looks the way you want it to. It's right next to the Save Changes button... Please try it out, so as not to clog up the Recent Changes. Thanks! --Pokégeek 15:04, 15 March 2012 (UTC)

Please, seriously, you need to use the preview button. Otherwise we get issues like on Pokémon manga, where you made 10 edits in the space of 20 minutes. There was a simple fix to the problem - I had just moved the image. However, I didn't even get a change to fix the link due to you constantly editing it. Not only that, but it clogs up Special:RecentChanges as well. --SnorlaxMonster 15:23, 15 March 2012 (UTC)

Please use the preview button

Recently, I've noticed you making several edits to the same page. Like SnorlaxMonster said, please preview your edits instead of saving several times in a row. Thanks. サトシ (talk) 19:27, 12 July 2012 (UTC)

Your edits

Several of your edits, such as the creation of Plasma Frigate and Clay Road, have been particularly low quality. Please look at the way other pages are formatted and styled and try to mimic that. --SnorlaxMonster 15:18, 13 July 2012 (UTC)

Iris and Drayden...

Are not related. All we know about Iris is that Drayden found her at her village. Ataro (talk) 02:33, 19 July 2012 (UTC)

In Pokemon Black 2 and White 2 Iris quotes "Drayden is my grandpa!" in Opelucid City. User:jacobspencer04 (talk)
The full quote is 'Yeah! Souryuu City's Gym Leader, Shaga is my granpa! ...though even though I call him that, we're not related by blood!'. The line after the one you quote confirms that they're not related. Bluesun (talk) 18:40, 19 July 2012 (UTC)

DNA Link Pin

It took me three days to notice, but I see you changed the translations I reverted before. Please, don't do that again. We're calling it the Gene Wedge, not the DNA Link Pin. Ataro (talk) 06:24, 19 July 2012 (UTC)

Block

Despite repeated warnings to improve your edits, and being forced to use the preview button and having been blocked before for not paying attention to the rules or these warnings, you have continued to ignore all of our advice. Due to this behavior, you have been blocked for one week. When you return, I highly suggest you pay more attention to the warnings given to you and read our assistance pages (linked in the welcome at the top of this page). If you continue to ignore the rules, then your next block will be of a more significant length. -- MAGNEDETH 01:12, 30 July 2012 (UTC)

Pokémon

Please remember that in mainspace articles, Pokémon is to be used over Pokemon. Note the 'é' instead of the regular 'e'. If you don't know how to type this on your keyboard, the character palette below the editing box has both 'é' and 'Poké'. Thanks! --It's Funktastic~! (talk) 20:24, 8 October 2012 (UTC)
