Atmos

Atmos is my major Pokémon in this team. Not because he's powerful (I never try to make my Pokémon real strong), it's just that he turned out just the way I wanted him to be.

Moves

Back in Sapphire, Atmos, the 1st, moves were something like this:

• Dragon Claw
• Fly
• Flamethrower
• Extremespeed

After Emerald came out, I tried to make Atmos, the 2nd, to be more elemental like:

• Dragon Claw
• Surf
• Flamethrower
• Thunderbolt

I only leveled it 1 level up while in Emerald (yes, one level, since I was too busy playing the other games). Then when Diamond got out, I traded it and taught him Draco Meteor (it's the only one who truly deserves that move), and voilà!

History

Atmos' idea came a looong time ago, back in Red and Yellow. Basically, two Pokémon fused to create it: Charizard and Mew (glitched, obviously). I continued to play with the very same two in Gold, Silver and Crystal:

• Fire Blast
• Dragonbreath
• Rock Smash
• Fly

• Psychic
• Surf
• Thunderbolt
• Ancientpower

Then in Gold (GOLD!), I had a Ho-Oh who looked something like the first Rayquaza:

• Sacred Fire
• Zap Cannon
• Giga Drain (since it can't learn any water-type moves)
• Fly

Then I caught a 70 Lugia, who's moves ended up in something like this:

• Psychic
• Blizzard
• Surf
• Fly

If we mix both, here's what you get:

• Fire Attack (or Psychic Attack)
• Electric Attack (or Ice Attack)
• Water Attack (or Grass Attack)
• Flying Attack (replaced by Dragon Attack)

And that was sorta how it was born. I chose Rayquaza because, besides it looking really cool, it wasn't part of a duo like Latios or Latias (yeah, I know about its relation with Kyogre and Groudon, but he's the only one of these three who can Fly). Oh, and I named it Atmos just because of this relation: Kyogre is Hydrosphere, Groudon is Geosphere and Rayquza is the Atmosphere.
