This article is about Ultraviolet; she's female, she's fifteen and she's Australian. She likes to ramble.

Ultraviolet is a relatively new user here at bulbapedia, and though she still doesn't know much about editing wiki-style websites, she's willing to learn and is going to go find the wikipedia 'editing help' window soon, because Bulbapedia doesn't have one.

Online she's usually referred to as ultra, simply because it's easier to spell and quicker to type, though for some reason she's never been referred to as UV. Note that ultra is spelt with a lower-case u, not for any particular reason, just because it looks cooler than an upper-case u.

ultra has liked Pokémon for a number of years, starting at age seven when she got her first gameboy color and game: Pokémon Blue. As such, being seven, she never got further than the Safari Zone and only ever used her Charizard, who unfortunately learned any TM she came across, provided it could learn that move.

Later on, she got both Gold and Silver, which gave way to her level eighty-something Feraligatr, and so she's loved Feraligatr ever nice.

Her favourite games have been the generation III games, right now she's playing Emerald. ultra is somewhat disinterested in both Peal and Diamond, probably because they require a Nintendo DS which she can't afford.

Ultraviolet's favourite Pokémon include most reptile-based Pokémon (apart from Ekans and Arbok, Seviper is cooler), Absol, Murkrow, Jolteon, Raikou, Dragonair (not Dragonite, because it changes too drastically from Dragonair in evolution to make sense, following ultra's logic) and Scyther. However, her favourite starter Pokémon starter is Chikorita, mainly because of Bayleef and not Meganium.
