Biology

Physiology

The front half of Sharkruel looks strikingly similar to its predecessor, Sharpedo, having the same face, an identical yellow "X" mark on its forehead, and the same arrangement of its fins. There are many differences, though. Sharkruel has a noticeably different color scheme. It also has a second dorsal fin, much like real sharks. Its fins have become serrated, making them powerful slashing weapons. Its pectoral fin has one noticeably large notch, much like Sharpedo. Also, its first dorsal fin has two large notches, again similar to Sharpedo. Its second dorsal fin has one large notch. And the first dorsal fin has a long, red "rip" running up the length of the fin. Its most notable change is the tailfin, which Sharpedo lacks. The top half is longer than the bottom half, and it has another "rip."

Sharkruel has become warm-blooded, allowing it to hunt in colder waters for its favorite food.

Gender differences

Male Sharkruel have another "X" mark below the mouth, which females lack.

Special abilities

Sharkruel can swim at speeds of up to 120 MPH. Unlike Sharpedo, it can swim for miles. Its teeth have become sharp enough to tear apart a military tank with ease.

Generally, Sharkruel can do every move Sharpedo can, with greater power. With the addition of its tail, it can learn Slam, Aqua Tail, and Iron Tail. Sharkruel can learn Razor Fin.

Sharkruel is the only Pokémon that can learn Shark Frenzy.

Behavior

Sharkruel are vicious predators that attack anything that strays too close. Fearful of its temperament and armament, people have nicknamed Sharkruel "the Menace of the Sea."

Habitat

Sharkruel inhabits the upper regions of the oceans. Sharkruel is often found in cold water hunting for its favorite food.

Diet

Much like Carvanha and Sharpedo before it, Sharkruel tends to eat anything it can sink its teeth into, which, in Sharkruel's case, is virtually anything. Sharkruel usually hunts for its favorite food, Seel and Dewgong.

In the anime

Being a fanmade Pokémon, Sharkruel does not appear in the anime.

Trivia

  • Sharkruel and all information regarding it are fake.
    • This makes it somewhat similar to Mizuado, a made-up sharklike Pokémon made for an April Fool's prank. However, Sharkruel was not made for prank purposes.

Origin

Sharkruel is, obviously, based on a shark. It is the "complete" form of Sharpedo.

Name origin

Sharkruel's English name is a combination of "shark" and "cruel." Its Japanese name comes from "same," meaning "shark," and "tero," meaning "terror."

In other languages

Names in other languages have not been confirmed.
