Super Effective is a fan-made web comic about Red written and drawn by Scott Ramsoomair. It is mainly based on Pokémon Red and Blue versions, however it introduces Leaf - whose called Green in this - in a later comic. Updates are infrequent. The comic is hosted by VG cats, a website about cats parodying video games.

Characters
Red
Red is the main character of Super Effective. Red doesn't talk. Red's PokéDex is very rude. He is a very strong battler and hasn't ever lost. He has no gym badges and is currently training. Instead of earning money in battles he mugs the loser to recive his money. His current team is made up of a Charmander and a Pidgey.
Blue/Douche
He is Red's rival and Green's brother. He hates losing. He has a Squirtle who is conscious about it's weight. He is also Professor Oak's grandson.
Green
Not much is none about her, other then she just recived a Bulbasaur. Her brother is Blue/Douche and her grandfather is Professor Oak.
Professor Oak
Professor Oak is a scientist whose's really bad with people. He is pretty much the same as in the games, however there is only one difference, this guy's an idiot.
