Here are the predictions and hopes I had for the Diamond and Pearl series. Now, at the time I made this page I was hoping that Ash, Dawn, and Brock would be going to Johto for the Generation IV Battle Frontier. Obviously that didn't happen but I thought I would leave this page intact anyway.

Pikachu: Obvious.
Buziel: I didn't think it was going to evolve into Floatzel, it had so many chances and never did.
Gible: I think we were lucky enough to get a Dragon-type, I didn't think Gabite would happen.
Infernape: I had always hoped for Chimchar to evolve all the way. Just mad it never battled Paul's Torterra.
Staraptor: Fully evolved already.
Torterra: I originally thought Turtwig would only evolve and stay as a Grotle, but The Greatest - Everyday! proved me wrong.

Feraligatr: Ash has two fully evolved Fire and Grass starters, but no fully evolved (or even evolved) Water Starters. I wanted Ash to go to Johto, ditch Buizel, take Totodile and have it evolve all the way.
Gliscor: Already fully evolved and off training. Still listed it because I had a feeling it would appear in the Sinnoh League.

I had a feeling that one of these was going to receive a evolution/split evolution in Generation V and they would be good for Ash. Obviously they never got evolutions.

Piplup: Well DP122 confirmed that it wouldn't evolve, at least not any time in the near future.
Buneary: It had plenty of time to evolve, I just didn't see it happening at the point in time I made this page.
Pachirisu: Already owns and can't evolve.
Cyndaquil: Well I predicted this before it happened, but now that she has it, I didn't think it was going to evolve. Maybe if she returns to the show after leaving (like May's Wartortle and Venusaur).
Mamoswine: Fully evolved already.
Togekiss: We found out she was going to get a Togekiss, but I really wanted to see it as a Togetic first, but Togetic and Togekiss don't seem to be in the wild often, so I thought she would briefly own Togepi.

Ambipom: Already evolved and off training.
Mothim: I love Mothim, and I really wanted to see it owned by a main character and thought it would be good for Dawn's contests.
Brock

Sudowoodo: Fully evolved already.
Croagunk: I think it would be kind of cool to see Brock with Toxicroak, but with the Poison Jab "plot" I didn't see it happening.
Chansey: Brock's a good breeder, and I think Chansey would be a great help for him in the future. I always had a feeling they would evolve Happiny and send Brock on the doctor route.
Rhyperior: All of a sudden I love the Rhyhorn line and I think it would be so cool to see Brock with a Rhyperior.

Wobbuffet: Fully evolved already, and it's not going anywhere.
Seviper: It can't evolve, and I didn't think she would get rid of it too.
Yanmega: Fully evolved already.
Ariados: I assumed they would go back to Johto, and I thought Ariados would make a good Pokémon for Jessie.

Mime Jr.: Never thought it would evolve.
Carnivine: Can't evolve, clearly wasn't going anywhere.
Chatot: I think his would be a perfect Pokémon for James, and Team Rocket overall
Other Characters
Considering that Ash always goes back to Pallet Town after a journey. I assumed he would after Sinnoh and possibly see Misty and May. These are new Pokémon I thought they could have. I didn't include their current Pokémon since the tables are so big and I don't think there will be any changes.

Bayleef: I thought that May would get a Johto Starter as well. Since she already has a Blaziken for a Fire-Type, and I can see her with Chikorita more then Totodile, I went with Bayleef.
Teddiursa: Perfect Pokémon for May to capture in Johto. Could be the Johto version of Munchlax (strength and battle wise).
Mareep: Mareep just suits her so well.
Furret: Again, suits her so well.
Misty

Well, they gave Misty Azurill and Luvdisc, so I'm thought that she might get some Generation IV Pokémon. I think that all of these Pokémn suit her well, and Lumineon and Gastrodon would make perfect Gym Pokémon.
