So we have that new user welcome box. And it's really quite good. This is basically just a copy of the massive old welcome box that we slapped on a page, and it's not so good. As a result, I'm making this page so we can sandbox around with this and try to figure something out that's both visually appealing and conveys all the necessary information.

A few points:

  • Figure out what to do with the bulleted text at the bottom.
  • Categorize it better; now that we're less concerned with space, we can make a few more categories (and add links.)
  • Do we want to do anything with sprites to spice it up, or something?
  • A possible outline for what's next.
