About Shipping.

As a shipper, I write Pokemon fanfiction. My stance on shipping is this: If you like a particular shipping, then ship it, support it, love it, worship it. If you despise a particular shipping, then don't ship it, deny it's potential, loathe it--HOWEVER, do not bash it.

There is nothing quite so annoying as someone who throws pointless tantrums and/or denies the quality of a fanfic/fanart simply because they themselves do not approve of the pairing involved. If you are one of those people--a suicidal shipper; a die-hard, Kamikaze-type fan willing to go to great lengths to denounce any shipping that conflicts with your own of preference:

STOP IT.

It makes you appear to be

• annoying
• obnoxious
• ignorant
• n00bish
• ridiculous
• arrogant
• unfriendly

Futhermore, there is another disturbing trend I have seen. Perhaps due to the realization that there will be a continuence in changing up of the main girls that travel along side Ash, many people have decided that while they might like a certain shipping, they will not put much faith into it. If this is your way of thinking, then so be it. However, this does not mean that you should post in threads on forums of your shipping of choice, attempting to debunk why you liked said ship in the first place. It seems ridiculous, is obnoxious, and bothers others who do not want to be so pessimistic.
