Unseen Fist (Japanese: ふかしのこぶし Invisible Fist) is an Ability introduced in Generation VIII. It is the signature Ability of Urshifu.

Effect

In battle

When using a contact move, Pokémon with Unseen Fist ignore protection moves in effect for their targets, except Max Guard. This applies even if the user is holding Protective Pads, but does not apply if the user is holding a Punching Glove, as it turns punching moves into non-contact moves.

Affected moves

The table below lists the moves affected by Unseen Fist, as well as the forms of Urshifu that can learn those moves.

Outside of battle

Unseen Fist has no effect outside of battle.
