Trivia
- Team Aqua's Cacnea is the only dual-type Pokémon in the EX Team Magma vs Team Aqua set to be able to evolve further at the present time. However, if a future set were to revisit Team Magma's theme and include a Team Magma's Rhyperior that evolves from this card, this card would become the second such card in this set.
