Surely it is far more likely that Blue (Green in English) is inspiration for a female character? - Gastly's Mama

I honestly think there was no inspiration, they just didn't have the space in RGBYGS to put a female player. TTEchidna 22:46, 10 July 2008 (UTC)
Should this be deleted?(cause this seems like speculation)--CoolPikachu! 00:01, 11 July 2008 (UTC)
How is "Blue was originally created based on a proposed female player character who eventually got cut from the Generation I games." at all relevant to a page on Yellow? - Gastly's Mama

Pokédex

Shouldn't it be mentioned that she has her own Pokédex after Red gave her one of the old ones (probably his) after they got the Version III Dexes? I don't wanna accidentally screw the page up or accidentally delete it or something. ~~HayLinLa~~

Game Character

Although there's no proof of Yellow being based on any game character or NPC, in RBGY there is a long-haired girl at Viridian City. Her grandpa teachs you how to catch a Pokemon, using a Weedle as an example in Red, Green, and Blue, but a Rattata in Yellow. On Yellow's debut on Pokemon Special, Red teach her how to catch a pokemon using a Rattata as an example.

It's just an uncertain idea, but there is a chance for Yellow being based on that girl. I need some feedback for this theory.

First time editing and poor english, sorry. ~~SHINING~~

I doubt it's the same character. The game one is minor and no one really thinks about her, and I seriously doubt they'd base a main character off of someone so irrelevant. Her uncle is in the games, but it is improbable that that girl is Yellow. --Galladeon 16:56, 27 May 2009 (UTC)

First Page Yellow?

Image removed due to copyright violation

Is that Yellow trying to capture that Nidorino? This is the first page of Pokémon Special. --Galladeon 16:52, 27 May 2009 (UTC)
Short answer, no. TheChrisD RantsEdits 16:56, 27 May 2009 (UTC)
Look at that picture, then this page . That's Yellow's first "official" appearance. See the similarities? --Galladeon 17:03, 27 May 2009 (UTC)
They're both young girls. I've already looked over them myself, and I've already come to the conclusions that it's not Yellow. Just because they're both similar in body shape and size doesn't necessarily mean anything. Different hair, different clothing and their eyes also look different. Plus, why would she be down in Pallet Town catching Pokémon when she lives up in Viridian City? TheChrisD RantsEdits 21:03, 27 May 2009 (UTC)

Yellow's Golem's sex

Yellow's Golem is listed as female here, but as male on the (admittedly incomplete) official site. Does it list it as being female in the manga itself or what? Capsule Computer 05:39, 21 June 2009 (UTC)

I agree that someone should check the actual manga. Coronis appears to agree with the website you're quoting. If the manga itself agrees with the website, then odds are the error is our listing. --Shiningpikablu252 16:01, 21 June 2009 (UTC)

WTF?

I was just glancing over the article when I noticed that she's included in both the male and female characters categories. Should this be fixed? --ルレ 08:55, 2 July 2009 (UTC)

It was probably added because Yellow did pretend to be a boy for 2 arcs of the manga.--☆Coolピカチュウ! 08:56, 2 July 2009 (UTC)
But she is not male. Do we have James listed as a female? James pretended to be a woman for countless episodes. --ルレ 09:02, 2 July 2009 (UTC)
Ask the person who added it.--☆Coolピカチュウ! 09:27, 2 July 2009 (UTC)
I do agree, she's female, plain and simple. James isn't listed as female despite having inflate-o-jugs, nor is Ash despite cross-dressing thrice. TTEchidna 09:40, 2 July 2009 (UTC)

Abilities

In what chapter was Yellow able to read the minds of humans? Ketsuban 02:59, 9 September 2009 (UTC)

Trivia?

Would it be worth noting that as well as Yellow and Emerald both being non-game characters, they both have height problems? (With Emerald being really, really small and Yellow being shorter than others despite her age?) --Loveon 08:05, 19 September 2009 (UTC)

"Yellow Caballero"

VIZ Media's, erm, media seem to be using this moniker in volume descriptions. Is there any value in its addition to the article? TJF588 04:43, 12 May 2010 (UTC)

Spoiler

Yellow's gender is a spoiler for people who haven't finished the Yellow or GSC arc. --Shiny Noctowl 13:50, 19 July 2010 (UTC)

And the fact Ash gets a Pikachu is a spoiler for those who haven't watched EP001. But of course, the full chapter has been printed and published in English nearly 8 years ago, and we overuse spoiler tags. --electAbuzzzz 15:12, 19 July 2010 (UTC)
There's a soft redirect at Masked Man, and the GSC chapter wasn't published that much later. --Shiny Noctowl 15:19, 19 July 2010 (UTC)
Personally I don't think we need that either, but for the sake of the argument: the identity of the Masked Man is a far more critical plot twist than Yellow's gender. Also, the "spoiler" in that case is that two characters the reader thinks to be different are really the same person, and therefore we made a soft redirect. We can't use a soft redirect in Yellow's case, and there's no point in putting up a warning. It's ridiculous. It's like putting up a warning on Misty's page for those who don't know she left, or on Steven's page for those who never played Emerald. --electAbuzzzz 19:46, 19 July 2010 (UTC)

No More Pokemon Adventures?

What happened to the pokemon adventures bios for misty, brock, and possibly the other gym leaders? Do they no longer exist? Please answer. - unsigned comment from Pokemonluver24 (talkcontribs)

Bios? What bios? I've never seen them having their own articles. And the info is on their respective pages... As to why they don't have any, it's because they don't need any. They haven't done enough to deserve a separate article except in the anime. Ataro 00:46, 2 October 2011 (UTC)

Eye color

I really don't know what eye color Yellow has, but from what I see, Yellow's is more greenish-yellow than brown. Should charteuse (yellow/green) be added for her eye color instead of brown? Iml908 (talk) 00:48, 4 November 2012 (UTC)

It is chartreuse, actually. And both eye colors have been shown, so you can change it to Brown/Chartreuse. |) u |( e ® 11:32, 4 November 2012 (UTC)

Actually, no that I have seen these color picture from Volume 40:http://jb2448.info/Pokemon_Adventures_40/Pokemon_Special_v40_c431/Pokemon_Special_v40_c431_001-003, her eye color is more clearer, and it is definitley yellow. But, this could just be her Viridian powers changing her eye colors. Iml908 (talk) 21:35, 10 November 2012 (UTC)

Lv. ??

Why Yellow's Pokémon on Volume 25 are "Lv. ??"?--Deruffy (talk) 04:36, 8 December 2012 (UTC)

Because the last thing they did was be powered up by Yellow's Viridian Forest abilities. Since they were never revealed in series, it wasn't listed there. Ataro (talk) 04:55, 8 December 2012 (UTC)

Yellow in HGSS

Should we add a category in here about Yellow in HGSS? Although she herself never appeared, someone disguised as her and that disguise is the closest depiction of a 17 year old Yellow we have thus far. - unsigned comment from Arceus101 (talkcontribs)
