Rest?

What happens when a Pokémon with Vital Spirit or Insomnia uses Rest? All Pokémon with these two abilities can learn Rest, so what happens?

I've tried, and Rest will automatically fail. Doesn't make sense, actually; why let them learn the move if they can't use it in the first place? Diachronos 17:24, 9 October 2008 (UTC)

It's similar to Mew learning Attract or something of that sort. It'll fail. ^ht14 17:26, 9 October 2008 (UTC)
