In the anime

What exactly are we looking for to complete the "In the Anime" section. Also, would the tag battle in the beginning of the 12th movie be significant enough? –MasterKenobi 07:30, 23 November 2009 (UTC)

Cheating Pokéfan Bastards

Is it worth note here that Georgia and Jeremy on the S.S. Aqua can team up to have an eight-on-six battle with the trainer? I don't know if this is unique. Colintron 22:24, 2 May 2010 (UTC)

Clair and Lance

I hear it's a one-time deal. Is it? ht14 22:43, 2 May 2010 (UTC)

It seems to be. Who put up the statement that they could be battled multiple times? You should ask that user. CuboneKing 22:49, 2 May 2010 (UTC)
I just looked, it was Dialgafan1... CuboneKing 22:54, 2 May 2010 (UTC)

Sorry, I thought it was more than once but I did some google searching and found out that they can't be battled more than once. Dialgafan1 23:43, 2 May 2010 (UTC)

Cool :D I'll remove "sometimes". CuboneKing 23:46, 2 May 2010 (UTC)

Wait, apparently Clair's page implied that she could be battled with Lance more than once. I don't know what to believe. Dialgafan1 23:48, 2 May 2010 (UTC)

Then don't assume anything. Try for yourself before adding anything. ht14 00:03, 3 May 2010 (UTC)
I'm sure I read elsewhere that it was multiple times. I'm sure I also read that the tag battle affects Silver appearing for battles with the player. Does rebattling the Elite Four change anything? —darklordtrom 10:33, 3 May 2010 (UTC)

According to the first line of this article, the in-game term is "Multi Battle," not "Tag Battle." Why, then, is this page located at the latter? Pumpkinking0192 (talk) 17:31, 7 February 2014 (UTC)

I think it may be at that because whoever named the article didn't attempt using the link battle feature in gen. 3 or 4, and named it with the animé's name. Pikachu Bros. (talk) 22:03, 26 February 2014 (UTC)
As no action had been made for several months, and there was no dissent against making the move, I moved the article and modified its contents accordingly. I also fixed the Battle mode template to avoid the redirect, and a couple other links to the page, but I'm sure there are plenty that still hit the redirect.Satosuke (talk) 00:47, 28 May 2014 (UTC)
For the record, I agree that this page should use the game terminology than the anime one. Though I don't exactly like how this was moved without an admin approval. Next time, wait for an approval. But if it seems like their isn't going to be one, alert an admin.--ForceFire 02:27, 28 May 2014 (UTC)
My appologies – with a perusal of the guidelines pages, I couldn't find any "must be approved by an admin" guideline for moving pages; still I probably should have known better. I figured it could be undone if absolutely necessary, but nobody was doing it and I could save people time and mental energy on something that had bothered me for months now. I will be more orthodox next time I decide to make such a sweeping change.Satosuke (talk) 02:37, 28 May 2014 (UTC)

Two unrelated trainers?

Is it true that two unrelated trainers can see the player at the same time, and it would start a multi battle? I thought all multi battles were specifically programmed into the game as such. And you can face more than 6 Pokemon?

I've never seen this.

Flarn2006 (talk) 22:19, 8 September 2015 (UTC)

I think the "two unrelated Trainers can see the player at the same time" thing mostly happened in RSE or so. At any rate, I think they've pretty much abandoned that sort of situation; I think these days they avoid placing Trainers in positions where that might (theoretically at least) be possible. So in recent games, yes, Multi Battles are generally programmed (i.e., not optional). Tiddlywinks (talk) 22:47, 8 September 2015 (UTC)
