Stat raise

I have the impression that this increase in Defense and Special Defense is only present while the Pokémon has not Spit Up or Swallowed. Am I right? I remember that some Pokémon I battled used Stockpile more than 6 times with stat increase, but I could be wrong. --Johans 00:46, 10 September 2007 (UTC)

Yeah, it goes away after it's Spit Up/Swallowed. TTEchidna 04:39, 10 September 2007 (UTC)

Baton Pass?

Will Stockpile's be Baton Passed? eg. smeargle uses two stockpiles and baton passes it out to another smeargle and he uses another stockpile and uses spit up, will spit up do 300 base power damage?--Wowy 06:52, 16 February 2009 (UTC)

Contrary

What happens if a Pokémon sets up their Stockpile, then gains Contrary (through Role Play/Skill Swap/Entrainment), and then uses Swallow/Spit Up? Are the stats still lost, or are they gained by the amount that they would have been lost? Similarly, what if after setting up, Topsy-Turvy is used on the Pokémon, and then Swallow/Spit Up is used? I guess the real question is: are the stat gains from Stockpile are stored in a special place and linked with the number of stockpiles it has, with them resetting back to what it would have without the stockpiles, or are they normal stat changes, with the stats simply lowering by the number of stockpiles that were used? I'd be glad to test it myself if no one knows and if I can find the right Pokémon to do it with. -- EnosShayremtalk 02:55, 27 February 2014 (UTC)
