Meister's List

At the Meister's house, there's a list of his favorite Pokemon... Does anyone know what it's for?

Yes...Thge translation is only for his favorite Pokémon! Agent #448 DP | E | 08:13, 11 November 2007 (UTC)
Now, of course, my question. The translation's to every language for his Pokémon, right? TTEchidna 10:02, 11 November 2007 (UTC)

How do I see the multilingual Pokédex entries!!!??? YinYang 21:32, 7 April 2008 (UTC)

Item placement

I was reading this and I got a little confused about where the Tinymushrooms and the Big Mushroom were. Do you need to Rock Climb to get these items, or are they just around a place where you can use Rock Climb?? Soon to be Mrs. Shirley

Possible bug?

Have anyone tried to trade Finneon that knows your only Surf? That way, you would be left stuck on the island without a way back (the only ways would be reset, Fly, or fishing to evolve that magikarp into Surf-learning Gyarados). Or is there any mechanism saving you? Glurak 19:34, 1 Jan 09 (UTC)

The fact that you'd have your Fishing Rod and would be able to catch a surf-ing Pokemon. Or get a Bibarel, likely. The Dark Fiddler - Nos hablamos? 19:38, 3 January 2009 (UTC)
Wait... I see what you're saying. I guess that's why you get a Magikarp, so you can surf away! The Dark Fiddler - Nos hablamos? 19:38, 3 January 2009 (UTC)
Well, Magikarp can't learn any TM/HM(Surf), you don't have to have any Rod (just don't speak with that NPCs who gives you it) (you can get Finneon by GTS trade), and you don't have to have any other Surf/Fly learning pokemon to get there. Glurak 19:44, 1 Jan 09 (UTC)
I know this is old, but I just stumbled on it today and tried it. If you trade over a Finneon (it can only be obtained by getting a Rod in-game) and it's the only Poke in your party that knows Surf, you're stuck unless you have Rare Candies to evolve the Magikarp or have Fly. IIRC, this is the first time it's possible to be stuck in a Pokemon game without glitches or cheats. Should I make a note of it? MagicBarrier 21:20, 10 August 2009 (UTC)
Evolving Magikarp isn't necessary. It just has to run out of PP and Struggle to death. Eon-Rider 15:36, 29 December 2009 (UTC)
This discussion has become old and stale. For those still interested, the Trivia section explains all. —darklordtrom 06:45, 31 December 2009 (UTC)

Is the Magikarp still German in the German games?

If no what nationality it it? Jmvb 11:48, 2 May 2009 (UTC)

I heard English, but don't quote me. — THE TROM — 07:50, 3 May 2009 (UTC)

Stairs are on game, but not on Bulbapedia's map

The beach closest to Meister's house has stairs on it in pearl. But not on the map... actually the map on here claims that you can't go across this route completely. ShoutingRyan 03:58, 7 February 2010 (UTC)

Looks like it's a fan-made map... and they slipped up on giving the place stairs. Whoops? ▫▪Ťïňắ 04:03, 7 February 2010 (UTC)
Gen IV maps are damned hard to rip from the game. We'll get to work on it, but we're trying to get the HGSS maps, too... TTEchidna 04:13, 7 February 2010 (UTC)

Is this route really a water route?

I don't really think that Rt. 226 is a water route because only about half of this route is covered by water. The fact is especially clear when comparing to other water routes, such as Rt. 219-220, 223 and 230. - unsigned comment from Tony YKS (talkcontribs)

No Stronger Rematches

How many other routes that have trainers that can be rematched don't have any that fight with stronger pokemon? That could be an interesting piece of trivia
