  • I think this is a good article about game mechanics, plus who doesn't like Shiny guys? ----Desukaan563's userpage has a Value Formula to measure Pokémon worth (talk) 08:34, 24 November 2010 (UTC)
  • I agree. It looks as good as Oak's lab or Ilex Forest shrine. Maybe some expert could make random shiny sprite(s) appear on article.----無限の知性DENNOUZENSHI 08:52, 24 November 2010 (UTC)
    • While I'm no expert, I made a sample on the talk page. --SnorlaxMonster 07:07, 28 November 2010 (UTC)
      • Good job SnorlaxMonster! Hey, how often does it change? Even if this artcile isn't nominated, we could still put this on the page. Oh, do u support nominating this article? --Desukaan563's userpage has a Value Formula to measure Pokémon worth (talk) 08:09, 29 November 2010 (UTC)
        • It generates a random Pokémon by multiplying the total number of edits by the time in seconds (it also uses modulo to keep the number between 1 and 493). So it really changes every time you view the page, but you might have to hard refresh or purge the server's cache to see a change. --SnorlaxMonster 10:40, 29 November 2010 (UTC)
  • I support this wholeheartedly, it's a great article. - unsigned comment from Missingno. Master (talkcontribs) 14:10, 27 November 2010 (UTC)
  • I support this because I believe it quite well written and it is a great article on the subject. --User:Laikue 11:40, 08 December 2010 (CST)--
  • Good article. A person wrote this at 00:38, 15 December 2010 (UTC)
  • One of the best articles related with Pokémon on Bulbapedia... Amitrc7th 05:30, 18 December 2010 (UTC)
  • Great article. Only one thing I could complain about, and it's not even that big of a complaint. Eliza 04:01, 30 December 2010 (UTC)
  • Great article. I have visited many times and found it useful(which is what Bulbapedia is for right?) And besides, Shinies Are Awesome!Arceus97 04:11, 1 January 2011 (UTC)
  • Interesting article with solid information. Looks like a winner to me. --P o L i 20:36, 3 January 2011 (UTC)

other than what i said in the object section its an excellent article--Glalie Power 20:39, 5 February 2011 (UTC)

  • Great article. Has a game, anime, and TCG view.--Breawycker 00:33, 8 February 2011 (UTC)
  • The article provides great information about Shiny Pokémon. It is well rounded and helps users with predicting Shiny Pokémon appearance. Pokemon59 20:37, 10 February 2011 (UTC)

  • Nah, it feels kind of...incomplete to me..like it could have more..Ataro 14:14, 27 November 2010 (UTC)
  • I feel like the sections on the side games are too short. While I know there isn't really much else to put there, it doesn't seem like good feature quality to have tiny subsections. The anime and TCG sections seem a little short, and there is no manga section; there must be Shiny Pokémon in at least one manga. --SnorlaxMonster 10:40, 29 November 2010 (UTC)
    • As far as I know of, the Red Gyarados is the only shiny guy in Adventures, and we could link to the Red Gyarados page for it. Besides, the magna is normally black and white, so it isn't much significance. ----Desukaan563's userpage has a Value Formula to measure Pokémon worth (talk) 02:32, 30 November 2010 (UTC)
      • Crystal mentioned that she caught a differently colored Pokemon in one chapter..but that's just all we got from it...and even if it's in Black and White, it wouldn't hurt to put it there....Ataro 02:39, 30 November 2010 (UTC)
  • While the article seems mostly complete, I don't feel it's feature quality. The page format is plain, and the sections, and by extension the article as a whole, are really short. Feature articles should be pages which go above and beyond most others, and I don't think this one is up to snuff. --AndyPKMN (talk) 12:19, 30 November 2010 (UTC)
Well, like DENNOU ZENSH already said, it is as good as Ilex Forest shrine, and covers more games/generations.----Desukaan563's userpage has a Value Formula to measure Pokémon worth (talk) 08:18, 20 December 2010 (UTC)
  • No mention of Colosseum/XD shiny Pokemon, which can be vastly different from the main game shinys, for example Vileplume or Voltorb. XVuvuzela2010X 22:23, 22 December 2010 (UTC)
  • I felt that it should go into the pros and cons of hacking shiny Pokémon because someone offered me a hacked Shiny and I still don't know whether I should have accepted or if I should accept it in the future... Eliza 04:06, 30 December 2010 (UTC)
    • Well, don't pay too highly for it. If it is a legend, it is worth a fairly common legend, if not, hacked would be worth someone fairly rare, though not that rare. I paid a Lv. 60 Honchcrow for a shiny pichu, who may or may not be hacked, but that gives u a basic idea. ----Desukaan563's userpage has a Value Formula to measure Pokémon worth (talk) 03:00, 31 December 2010 (UTC)
      • A Shiny Pokémon hacked in the normal way should be identical to a legitimate one, except that they are often obtained where they cannot usually be obtained, so the location is often wrong. However, this information should not be added to the page. --SnorlaxMonster 11:11, 1 January 2011 (UTC)
  • its good but it should say if shinys have higher stat averages than normal
A yellow Kecleon
  • Repeating myself above, shiny's from Colosseum & XD really need a mention, for example shiny Kecleon in the handheld games are green, while the ones in Colo/XD are Yellow. XVuvuzela2010X 21:04, 5 February 2011 (UTC)
