More than one pun
In addition to Mr. Backlot's Japanese name being a pun on 「羨ましい」, the name can be separated into "ura" 「裏」 and "yama" 「山」, which when read as-is translates directly to "Back Mountain". Hence the origin of the name "Mr. Backlot" in translation to English.

Aren't You... Line
It says his line his "Aren't you jealous?", but as a player of Pokémon Diamond in ENGLISH, I know he says "Aren't you envious?". Is the line translated from the Japanese games? If its not, it should be changed to envious.--DRAGONBEASTX 11:11, 29 January 2009 (UTC)
- Same freakin' thing. But I think we should use the translation from the English version. --Maxim 12:56, 29 January 2009 (UTC)
The guard wasn't there the other day! So I touched the statue and I got fingerprints on it, does this do anything? felinoel 12:55, 29 January 2010 (UTC)
