Unknown # of Episodes as Pikachu

How do we know that Raichu spent episodes as a Pikachu? After all, it was only the 14th episode! How do we know it wasn't a Pikachu before Ash became a trainer, thus, before the series started?--KukiTalk 23:05, 22 June 2008 (UTC)

It would still be a certain amount of episodes. If it was... 24 episodes it was a Pikachu, then it would've began being a Pikachu or whatever in episode -10 or something. But in my opinion, I think it would be less than one episode, because Brock thought Lt. Surge evolved Pikachu into a Raichu right after he got it, and that proved to be partly true. So yeah. -- SpontaneousCombusken 23:25, 22 June 2008 (UTC)

Team in the games

Ignore my previous comment, I was on the wrong page. --- Gastly's mama

Image

I found this image on the web a long time ago, and noticing that this article has the "Unsatisfactory image" tag, I thought it could be used instead. The thing is that I can't see what's wrong with the current image, so I won't change it since I don't know if my image is better or doesn't have the unspecified mistake. - unsigned comment from Commanderraf (talkcontribs)

Bite?

Didn't his Raichu use Bite against Ash's Pikachu? --Kimori Geckarbor Hinoarashi 22:06, 16 October 2009 (UTC) Kimori Geckarbor Hinoarashi Kimori-Hinoarashi

Male?

Would Raichu be male due to its tail? (female Raichu don't have a sharp end on their tail) Ruberduck0123 07:31, 15 October 2010 (UTC)

Gender differences weren't introduced until Gen IV. They can't be used for determining the gender of Pokémon introduced before then in the anime unless they have the appearance which wasn't the case for prior generations, and/or they have changed (evolved or were introduced) after DP001. Type of Poké Ball

What type of Poké Ball was used in Pokémon Special? It's definitely not the Poké Ball... ht14 20:30, 2 December 2011 (UTC)

Never mind, got the answer. ht14 22:18, 2 December 2011 (UTC)

Picture

Um, can we get a new main image? The current one is pixelated and blurry, and it cuts off most of Raichu's body (the ears, etc.). Plus, I thought it'd look better in a more "relaxed" sort of tone. GamerGeek 01:48, 18 November 2012 (UTC)

Maybe I can... But it says I donot have permission to do so.UltimateSupreme(T@lk) 14:11, 19 November 2012 (UTC)
You could probably upload it onto your own profile or talk page, or just send it to a staff member. But whatever the case, I think the current picture should still be updated (I'd do it myself, but uploading images is something I have a bit too much trouble with, hence why I even asked in the first place). GamerGeek 22:24, 19 November 2012 (UTC)
You need to have an account on the archives to do so. PattyMan 00:23, 20 November 2012 (UTC)

ThunderPunch

Lt. Surge clearly told Raichu to use ThunderPunch, not Mega Punch (at least in the English translation). I was reverted due to it being "untrue". I would like to know where he says Mega Punch in the English version, not counting subtitles, as he did clearly state ThunderPunch. Pikachu Bros. (talk) 19:02, 16 April 2014 (UTC)
