Talk:Japanese text in English games
On every image, shown in the article, which displays the characters あ,え and お the characters い and う can be seen on the right-hand side of the line above the former characters, but they aren't mentioned in the article. Is it worth adding them to the article? --Jhon- (talk) 12:27, 12 July 2012 (UTC)
- I'd say yes, they are Japanese and in the English tileset. --Spriteit (talk) 05:10, 13 July 2012 (UTC)
This article's been a candidate for moving since 2012, and nobody's discussed it yet. Does anyone actually object to the title "Japanese characters in the international Generation I and II games"? I think that it is a lot more descriptive of the article's contents and is inclusive of other European languages using the same character set (e.g. the Spanish, French and German games are all based on English RBY), like how we have lists of "Japanese event Pokémon distributions" and "European language Japanese event Pokémon distributions". --ZestyCactus 05:39, 13 January 2014 (UTC)
