What part of "Do not misrepresent rumors, misconceptions or opinions as fact" do you not understand?!

Glaceon is thought to be the pokemons english name just because it is the ending of all the other Eevee evolutions, but that is RUMOR at this point and NOT FACT.Gatogirl

Didn't Serebii confirm it as true? --PAK Man 16:26, 26 March 2007 (UTC)
Yeah, we have had all the English names confirmed for a few weeks now. --FabuVinny 16:33, 26 March 2007 (UTC)

Just because Serebii confermed it ti does not mean anything (see Wikipedia's article discussion to catch my drift)Gatogirl

Serebii had all of the names and was going to reveal them one at a time. Then, somebody leaked the names and Serebii basically confirmed all of them. He's been right about all of the other English names. There's no reason to believe he made any mistakes here. Besides, if it's proven to be wrong, we can always change it. It's not that big of a deal. --PAK Man 16:15, 28 March 2007 (UTC)
The problem Wikipedia has is with reliability of sources. Bulbapedia considers Serebii a reliable source for this so we have the articles at the English names. --FabuVinny 16:32, 28 March 2007 (UTC)
They're all right, Gatogirl. Besides, even if Serebii is wrong (very unlikely) we can always easily change the name to the proper. Just relax, you're making way too big a deal of this. Carnivine 28 March 2007

What?

Glaceon is tied with Jolteon for the shortest Eeveelution.

What does that mean? - unsigned comment from HoennMaster (talkcontribs)

It means that Glaceon and Jolteon are the same height, but shorter than all the other Eeveelutions. Pachirisulover12 12:02, 19 April 2008 (UTC)

Broken link

The link to smogon is mispelled as glacia and not glaceon, as such it's broken. - unsigned comment from Owlkeeper (talkcontribs) I would fix it, but forgive me for not knowing how.

It's the pokefordex parameter. TTEchidna 04:52, 23 July 2008 (UTC)

Appearance

Is it just me or are the official artwork and the appearance in the anime both based off the 'Shiny' version of Glaceon rather than the regualr colouration? Should this be noted in the Trivia section? - unsigned comment from DrStubbsberg (talkcontribs)

It's just you it does not look like its Shiny form. --☆Coolピカチュウ! 07:06, 22 July 2009 (UTC)

The regular sprite is light blue with black, the shiny one is white and blue. The version used in the anime and the artwork is much closer to the shiny than the regular. - unsigned comment from DrStubbsberg (talkcontribs)

It seems like they changed the colour of Glaceon by making it light blue. In both Pokedex 3D Pro and anime, Glaceon has lighter body colour than the ones in the game sprite and official artwork. They may have done it to slightly distinguish it from Vaporeon. Phoenix-f- (talk) 14:48, 1 February 2013 (UTC)

Have anyone discoverd The evolution route of Glaceon in Hearthgold or Soulsilver?

Is it posible that Eevee can evolve in Johto to? No one has ever talked about this! Which location in Johto can equal the snow route 217 in Sinnoh? - unsigned comment from Eneci (talkcontribs)

It doesn't. We tested a whole lot of possible areas last night. On the plus side, Eevee's ready to become an Espeon or an Umbreon... but not Leaf/Glac/Zone/Probopass. —darklordtrom 21:03, 20 September 2009 (UTC)
I don't think Eevee would become a Magnezone or Probopass even in DPPt... but I suppose I'm just nitpicking there. --AndyPKMN 15:51, 24 May 2010 (UTC)
Well, I just thought of something. Has anyone tried leveling up an Eevee at the Sinjoh ruins? I tried that with Magneton with no success, but I only just realized that the snowy weather there could mean something... - unsigned comment from Missingno. Master (talkcontribs) 16:21, 24 May 2010 (UTC)
Could also mean that some evolutions are inaccessible which is similar to what happened in FireRed and LeafGreen and so trading would have to be done. -Tyler53841 16:57, 24 May 2010 (UTC)
Have you tried evolving a Nosepass there? I don't have one.Zekasaur 06:55, 11 September 2010 (UTC)

Generation V

Just something to put in the Trivia section of the page:

Glaceon (against Swanna) along with Vaporeon (against Munna) were the first Pokémon, not in the fifth generation, to have their sprites revealed. They were both revealed in August 2010. Zekasaur 06:56, 11 September 2010 (UTC)

Official romanization

I have an official guidebook (this) that romanizes its name as "Glacia". While I've seen a picture of a TCG with the alternative spelling, I'd like to point out that the card was blurry, and the letter was partially covered. And going by the name origin, I'm more inclined to use the former. So the question is which romanization are we going use: "Glacia" or "Glasia"? --超龍對話 20:37, 27 February 2012 (UTC)

Glacia sounds more official whereas Glasia may have been a spelling error. Frozen Fennec 20:40, 27 February 2012 (UTC)
